We take the Boarder Collie there for daycare and he comes home exhausted which is what WE want after a long day of work since he has almost unlimited energy. To update my previous review of a year ago. This is an amazing kennel. Our Louie loves going to stay with his friends and care persons. I read some of the poor reviews and I believe the problem is not the Springs staff, but the poor judgment of people leaving their pets. Who leaves a pet that has an incision from a recent surgery? That is just poor judgment. And all the cost and expectations of boarding at the springs is on the website. The staff at the Springs have always been professional and honest. For example, we were having Louie have 3 playtimes, but after discussing the times with the staff, they suggested two were really enough for him. He is mostly an indoor dog and loves to play, but also likes his alone time. We love the staff and the wonderful attention and love they give to Louie. Thank you so much. My husband and I love bringing our fur baby to Spring Creek Kennel and Cattery. We have a dirt covered yard with no roof, so we only bring our dog in on rainy days to keep him from playing in the mud. Our fur baby loves it and always leaves exhausted from a play filled day. Their cost for doggy daycare fits into our budget and we couldn't be more happier with their service. They always greet us and have nice things to say about our dog which we appreciate. The location is easily accessible but slow down or you'll miss it. They have plenty of parking and ample space for your cat or dog to stay. I have used Spring Creek Team since 2011. I took my beloved Shadow to them whenever I went away and couldn't take him. It was like, "Day camp," for him and he was always happy. (I still miss Shadow). Going on 4 years I have been taking my new Dog, "Jackson," here. He is always excited when we get there and loves the treatment and girls working there. "It is Doggie-Day Camp for him too!" Spring creek is the best place in the area for taking care of cats and dogs for a day or overnight. My cat has extreme anxiety and cannot be left home when we travel. We take our cat to Spring Creek whenever we travel now, and our cat loves it. Now when we travel not only is our cat happy but our house is in the same condition it was when we left. Our dogs also love going to Spring Creek for a hot day so they can swim in the pool, or for long stays when they can't travel with us. They always come home happy clean and healthy. Every staff member I have met has been so kind and caring and you can tell that they love the pets so much. Manda, the manager, is especially amazing and sincerely loves all the pets there. The passion, caring, and kindness shows strongly. I have a lot of anxiety with leaving my girls anywhere for extended periods of time, except for this place. I know they're happy there, every time. Our Molly wears her emotions on her paws and she is a ball of excitement when we even park at the front. That being said ,we have never left him with anyone except family in the past when we had to travel and he couldn't go. We appreciated the reviews and decided to try them out ourselves. They are very thorough about vaccines, fleas, health and temperament which is very important for us too. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. They insist on at least one 20 minute playtime a day , which we could be happier about . But most important Merlin loves them. I had dropped off my 1 year old cat to be boarded at Spring Creek for 4 days over the weekend while my family and I were on vacation. Upon entering I was welcomed with a lovely worker, Liz. Liz was so sweet and excited to see my fur baby. She allowed me to see where Kikyo was staying and ensured her form was printed out so that we could run over what Kikyo's feeding would look like. I also was pleasantly surprised with their mouser, who I might add was adorable to greet me and my cat before touring the cattery side of the property. I mistakenly left my wallet with them and they had kept it safe for me over the weekend. I can tell Kikyo got very close with Liz and I'm sure she did with the other staff that got to meet her. She's a very vocal and young cat who isn't typically too keen on cuddling, but she loved Liz!! My husband and I have used Spring Creek Kennel numerous times over the years with previous dogs. We have always found the kennel staff to be caring and friendly with our pets. We trust this kennel to keep our little 7 lb. Maltese Theia safe, while we are on vacation. Our dog has an inside Kennel type crate with access to her own fenced outside run area. The inside is heated or air conditioned depending upon the day. I'm really disappointed. I had such a positive experience over the phone before leaving my dog there for a week. They were super helpful in making sure I had all the documents and information needed, and they even called a few days ahead to confirm everything. However, I was surprised to learn only on the day I dropped her off that there's an extra mandatory fee per day for "play time", which was never mentioned during any of our conversations earlier. Love this place much! My puppy had a several day stay here and came back so happy!!! The facility is clean and the staff are completely attentive. Before booking I was able to take a full tour of the facility, see all the sleeping spaces and yard areas where my dog would be kept. That made me feel really comfortable to know my little pup would have a clean and happy space to relax in between play times! While she was there, my dog got to play with friends her size, splash around in a little pool, and make friends with the staff. She came back well exercised and clean! I will always use this place as my go to boarding!!! I couldn't be happier to have a reliable and safe place for my pup and I never have to worry about her while I'm away! I would leave 0 stars if I could for wasting our time and giving misinformation. It is a money trap and would not trust them to leave my furbaby here. They will tell you they could keep your dog there but once you get there, NEVERMIND and leave you high and dry. We called this place to see if we could have our dog stay here for 6 days and they told us sure, they had availability and just to simply fill out the registration form online and we would receive an email once it's approved. I also specifically asked them prior to dropping him off on the phone that we recently adopted him and he was just neutered and needs to have his cone remain on for the entire stay. They said, "it's no problem that they could still take him as long as his vaccinations are up to date. I would just have to sign a waiver for his rabies shot since he just received his rabies and it takes 5 days to take effect," I did as they said, submitted his vaccinations online and even mentioned his recent neuter surgery in the paperwork online. They seemed to be more concerned about his vaccinations then his surgery. I received the confirmation email the same day for his approval to stay. I even called them after receiving the email confirmation and they said everything looked good for his stay. We brought him the day before our flight to Hawaii and when we got there the staff at the reception desk said she had to facetime her manager to see his incision. They then proceeded to tell us that they cannot take him because they cannot be liable for his incision when they told me they could take him when I spoke to them on the phone!! WHY DID THEY NOT TELL ME THAT WHEN I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THEM ABOUT THIS ON THE PHONE?! WHY WOULD WE GET THE INITIAL APPROVAL CONFIRMATION VIA EMAIL KNOWING THIS INFORMATION IF THIS WAS PART OF THEIR POLICY AND NOT TELL ME BEFOREHAND?!! I asked the staff this and she could not give me a straight answer just that she was not the one doing the intake and she was just coming in but was instructed to call her manager about his incision. The manager did not even apologize at all on the phone and was matter of fact and short on the phone. It was a major inconvenience for us as we were in a major bind trying to find someone to take care of our dog the night before our trip and they tried to refer us to some boarding vet places but they were near closing. My husband and I were so upset we didn't know what to do and almost had to cancel our trip. We never received a call/ voicemail from them prior to drop off that this was their concern. On the website makes making a reservation really really easy. We dropped Emma off a few weeks back for a summer vacation. She is 16 years old and doesn't adjust really well to traveling. We felt it was safer to board her than to bring her or leave her with family. When we picked her up she smelled super clean, all of her bedding was washed and cleaned. Drop off took a lifetime because the staff couldn't let a family figure out their business before wasting everyone else's time. I called several times once one day, giving them the benefit of the doubt. Next day again then left a message the third time I called. They never got back to me! My dogs are very anxious with other dogs and people so I was generally worried. On pick up we found our female was extremely tired and scared. Which is weird because she is normally the more animated pup. We never got a tour of the facility, never got a day to day on what they do with the dogs and we never got a report on how they were during the stay. And now to make things even worse and expensive our female got kennel cough. Extremely disappointed with this place. read more
