    A perfect pour.

We were part of a larger group that visited Cape Cod Irish Village for Super Bowl weekend. It was our first time seeing the new location. The Check-In process was very efficient considering the large amount of people arriving on Friday afternoon. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Some of the furnishings could use updating but they were clean and serviceable nonetheless. The weekend package included two breakfasts and two dinners in the Dining Room. The Friday Dinner menu was a little limited but there were several appetizers and meals to choose from. I had the Tempura Cauliflower with Sweet Chili Sauce appetizer. It was delicious and the portion was enough for 4 people. I opted for the Shepherds Pie for the Main Course and it was perfect. Dessert selection was a little bit lacking. I had the homemade Chocolate Cupcake. The frosting was very good but the cake itself was a little dry. I think that's understandable considering the amount of guests. The remaining meals were all equally as good and the Dining Room servers were all very friendly, attentive and efficient. Meal highlights were the Prime Rib, Steak Tips and of course a pint of Guinness a perfect pour). There was a Disco Party on Saturday evening. I didn't attend but those who did had a great time. We watched the Super Bowl in The Ballroom on Sunday. The Audio and Video quality were excellent and the game was projected on two large screens. The game didn't go as hoped but we had a great time. Overall, an excellent weekend and we plan on being back next year.

This is the WORST and grossest hotel I have ever stayed in. When we arrived we were greeted with the smell of stale cigarette smoke in the lobby. Our room did not have a deadbolt on it, floor and door trims were missing, stained lampshades, mold on the ceiling, and a bathroom that has never been cleaned..... complete with bugs on the floor! The shower did not drain and we were up to our ankles in water. The hotel room was so gross and musty, we purchased dehumidifiers to combat the stickiness. We were here for a wedding and not by choice, by all means find somewhere else to stay even if this is the recommended hotel!!!

    Holes in the decking.

Met with the owner, great man. He owned the situation, apologized, and offered a solution. He has newly acquired the property and it will be undergoing renovations and staff training. We wish him all the best!

Anchor In provided the exact experience I was looking for. Upon arrival, we quickly enjoyed the marina view. The hotel is a boutique / 42 room inn with complimentary parking, complimentary continental breakfast, friendly staff, a beautiful pool, outdoor seating/fire pit and it's all within walking distance of restaurants and tourist attractions. Our room was comfortable, with a patio overlooking the marina. The bathroom was large and while not one of the more modern bathrooms I've seen, it did provide all of the accessories a traveler would need. The room also offered a Keurig coffee machine and a mini fridge in the room. The bed was a large king size bed, the mattress was a bit soft for my preference. For those who may be visiting the hospital, this hotel is also across the street from the hospital. If you're looking for a beautiful view, comfortable room, friendly staff, free parking and breakfast, all at a great rate, this is a wonderful option.

One word? AWESOME!…read more Initially, the thought of a B&B creeped me out. I don't like staying over friends or relatives' houses unless I must, let alone some stranger's house in an area I am unfamiliar with. Call me strange, but something about the concept of a B&B has so much in common with a horror film that ends with me getting killed along the line...but not here. My wife and I joined a few of our friends to go to Hyannis and Martha's Vineyard for Memorial Day Weekend and we stayed here. Craig and Ginny (the proprietors) were so friendly and accomodating. Both of them are very personable and full of great local knowledge that they really helped make our stay easier and more pleasant. You will be regaled with Craig's funny stories if you just take the time to speak with him. Ginny is so willing to make the stay as comfortable as possible. You could not ask for better hosts. At no time, did I think they would kill me, and cure my flesh to make sausages like in the movie "Motel Hell". (Sorry, my paranoia is a bit unreasonable). The place is literally a 10-15 min walk from Main street. The beach is 5 min in the opposite direction. You're so close, you can smell the salty air when you step from your room. The rooms are very nice. In fact, you have 2 choices of where to stay: Stay in the main house or the guest house. We stayed in the guest hose, facing the back yard and the large comfortable hammock that gently rocked me to sleep several nights. Our room consisted of a small sleeping area,, a bathroom and a closet. They got cable tv and I do believe there is wi-fi. But why come all the way to Hyannis to surf the web and watch cable? And the room size? Who cares. I was there to see the town, not stay indoors. It was more than adequate and very comfortable. By the way, the breakfast was DELICIOUS. You get two choices: some awesome egg dish or some ceral with yogurt. I went for the eggs and was pleased everytime. Damn, that was good food. Overall, we were extremely pleased. We're definitely going to stay here again. The rates are more than fair for all the accommodations, and the people here really make it worth the stay. My only regret in writing this review is that you'll read this and stay there with your friends and make it harder for me to do so. Do not make me slay you...

So after looking at a variety of hotel options that I couldn't afford and lower priced ones that I think I would've gotten diseases from, I decided to look at B&Bs. Having only stayed at a B&B once in the past (in Maine), I wasn't quite sure what to expect. But the rates were right in line with what I wanted to pay, there was availability, and I had read other good reviews. I cannot say enough about how much this place exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Firstly, the location is perfect. A 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minute walk to Main Street, 20 minute walk to the ferries to MV & Nantucket. But don't even concern yourself with the 20 minute walk, because Craig & Ginny, the proprietors, are more than welcoming and offered us a ride to and from our ferry the day we went to Nantucket. They also provide beach chairs if you're going to the beach, restaurant and local area recommendations (of which we listened and were not disappointed), and most importantly HOSPITALITY. You don't get this kind of attention at a hotel. The B&B itself is very quaint... clean, well-kept, equipped with outdoor seating areas to relax as well as a pool, which was an added bonus I didn't expect before arriving. The breakfast area is very cute and the breakfast itself was delicious every morning. I really can't say enough good things about my stay at Salt Winds... just don't even second guess yourself and just book it and see for yourself. You can't come close to this location, level of service, and accommodations for the price on Cape Cod in the summer!

The whole place looked recently renovated. There is a green space in the center with some hammocks a giant chess board, fire pit and leads into the restaurant which was really cool looking too! Great location near the harbor and close to the artists shops and the town Main Street with the shops and restaurants. Chill vibes. We were there in early June so still before all the summer crowds get here. We were here for the Cape Cod dinner train and decided to stay the weekend. Review: A Beautiful Day Thanks to Family, but Major Venue Letdowns…read moreThe Good: Our wedding day ended up being amazing, but that was entirely thanks to our incredible friends and family who pitched in, rather than the venue itself. I also want to give a shoutout to Cathy and Kara, who were trying very hard under difficult circumstances. The Challenges: We are a very laid-back couple (this was a second wedding for both of us), but the sheer number of issues we experienced was unacceptable. It felt very clear that a leadership conference happening at the resort was the priority over our wedding. Room Accommodations & Storage: We booked the Jimmy Buffet Suite, but they gave it to someone else, forcing us to stay in a different room on our wedding night. Our room wasn't ready until 3:50 PM for a 4:00 PM ceremony, giving us no time to move our belongings. We were also promised a secure room to store our centerpieces and decor upon arrival, which did not exist. Ceremony Disasters: The ceremony space was unkempt. The grass wasn't mowed, and ant hills were left intact--I actually got ants in my wedding dress! Infuriatingly, they mowed the grass and swept the ant piles the very next day. Furthermore, there was no signage directing our guests, causing people to miss the beginning and walk in late. Reception & Setup: We were delayed in setting up the reception room, and when we finally got in, the room was split down the middle and still had trash in it. Staff originally told us we had to set up our own ceremony chairs until we pushed back. Some staff members were seen hanging out and laughing instead of working until our guests intervened. Seating & Table Layout: My husband actually had to provide the staff with the printed room and table layout--a layout the venue had designed and sent to us themselves! Even with the map in hand, they numbered the tables incorrectly and left paper shipping stickers on them. Because of their error, our wedding party, who was supposed to be seated right by the dance floor, ended up seated the furthest away. Food & Beverage Oversights: We had a special top tier of our cake specifically for our son, and the staff never cut or served it. For our 40-person rehearsal dinner, they moved the room at the last minute and didn't update the directory board, leaving guests confused. We also ordered food service twice for my pregnant Maid of Honor, which never arrived; the front desk later told us they don't even have room service. Resort Amenities & Billing: Advertised pool amenities were closed. One morning, breakfast stopped at 8:00 AM, and we overheard staff refusing to refill the bacon early in the morning. Finally, I was explicitly told our final bill would be adjusted for guests who couldn't attend, and that never happened. The Verdict: It seems like this establishment has a corporate issue--staff are stretched way too thin and generally don't seem happy to be working there. There was a complete lack of management visibility; I couldn't tell you who the manager is, what their name is, or what they look like. I hesitated to write this because I didn't want to revisit the stress, but future couples need to know. Because we are so laid back, we rolled with the punches, but I cannot imagine how devastating this experience would be for a first-time bride or someone expecting a seamless day.
