I recently became a new patient at Cape Cod Rehabilitation. I wish to comment on my experience with Eric , my p.t. at that location. Eric is a well trained professional who is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He understood my injury ( fracture of both kneecaps and a fractured wrist ) and provided exercises for those issues. My experience was extremely negative exercises given to me actually aggravated my injury. Before any diagnostic testing the physical therapist told me that I should see their surgeon friend confident that I would need surgery. I did not require surgery. This seemed inappropriate and motivated by an ulterior profit motive. Then Cape Cod Rehabilitation does not disclose that they charge you and your health insurance for remote texting. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY -- I love the pool, and the therapists for the most part are hardworking and mean well, but the company has decided that the parking lot is "not their problem" so when I literally had no where I could safely park my conversion van, all they could offer me was vague statements of empathy; "I'm so sorry that happened to you " is worthless if it leads to NO ACTION. They won't even ask their ambulatory disability-card holders NOT to take their only two handicap spots even though the rest of their parking is virtually the same distance, and once someone else makes the same selfish choice they'll end up parking elsewhere anyway. Unfortunately I haven't found another pool in the area to patronize yet, so I'm left trying my luck in Cape Cod Rehab Parking roulette! read more

The first issue was actually making an appointment in the first place. If you were to call this company you'll find they're booking initial consultation appointments towards the end of September. Mote then a month away. Now when somebody is in physical pain having to wait six weeks for initial consultation is pointless. Furthermore, when I called to reschedule my initial consultation I was told that They couldn't accommodate rescheduling me unless I was willing to wait until the end of September despite the fact that I already had four additional appointments between now and then confirmed.. It wasn't just the inflexibility, I spoke with somebody by the name of Colleen who I found to be extremely difficult to work with. Her attitude was unsympathetic, Talk about a rude bedside manner, she actually seemed to be put off by the fact that I would even ask to reschedule. I decided to work with another physical therapy company here in Falmouth that is much more amenable and flexible and happy to accommodate a potential client. read more

I had 2 total knee replacements, one in May, and one in July. Cape Cod Rehab was recommended by a friend, and I could not be happier!!!! Physical Therapist, Jody C. , and her team were off-the-chart GREAT!!! Realizing every knee replacement is different, Jody quickly figured out the therapy I required!! She had Knee #1 pretty much back to normal in time for my 2nd surgery in July. We are now working on knee #2, with similar results!! The results far exceeded my expectation!! I expect to be skiing on my new knees in November!!! I would highly recommend Jody and her team!!! read more

Cape Cod Rehabilitation is a modern and fairly new facility in the Mashpee area. They offer rehabilitation services, trainers, have an indoor heated pool and set of highly skilled staff. I came to their Mashpee center after having hip surgery and while I work with two different Physical Therapists, depending on the day of the week, I receive the same level of service. The indoor heated pool is especially nice because it allows a better recovery without placing too much strain on the extremity. I would highly recommend aquatic therapy as a beginning to anyones physical therapy to focus on core strengthening then to the machines and exercises for strengthening. The one cool machine they have in the locker rooms is a bathing suit spinner which spins out all the water in seconds. Makes so you don't have to put a wet bathing suit into your gym bag. They do spin classes on the second floor. The first floor gym area has several machines and cardio equipment. They also have a small walking track around the perimeter of the room. Most of the equipment is top of the line , fairly new and clean. I will be here for approximately 2 months during my recovery but the staff and facility make the choice to go here well worth it. read more

So, I hate to do it but I have to. I did my initial therapy here after a serious knee injury in January. Things were going great here, I loved the therapists in general, but one day I was working with a PTA I didn't typically use, and he was pushing me pretty hard when I didn't think I could do an exercise. He kept pushing me and finally I did it! And then I was in excruciating pain. Come to find out six months and a second surgery later, I tore my ACL at PT that day. I didn't know it, and I walked around on it for almost half a year. After going to two different PT places since then, I know now that as a patient, you really need to stand firm when you don't think you can do something, but there's no way you should ever be in actual pain. read more

It has been several years since I was helped with my carpal tunnel at CCR and I have nothing but amazing things to say. I was seen by Eric Wheeler and I haven't forgotten his names even years later. Dr. Josh and his team are simply amazing. Dr. Josh is by far the best chiropractor I have experienced. He goes above and beyond with making sure each one of his patients are taken care of. He even took the time to call me to make sure I was ok when I had to cancel an appointment to go to urgent care, that truly says something. I went to Cape Cod Rehab after being diagnosed with DeQuervain's Syndrome. I had got a cortisone shot, at the recommendation of a surgeon, but it was a very temporary (and painful) fix. So, I went to CCR for physical therapy. Eric Wheeler was my therapist and was very pleasant, although the therapies he applied (electric stimulation, ultrasound and a very quick hand massage) didn't really do anything and truthfully, he didn't really seem that interested in getting me results. I went twice a week for two weeks, and after what was supposed to be my second to last appointment, I was given a survey before the treatment started via an ipad. I answered honestly with low ratings as the "treatment" wasn't doing anything. After that, Eric was pretty cool during the appointment and at the end said I shouldn't bother coming back, which was fine with me as I was paying $65 every visit...and getting zero relief. Adding insult to injury, I was later sent a bill for $90 because those visits I was told would cost $65 (which I paid at the start of each visit) were actually $70+ and the initial visit was over $100...why I don't know, no more time was spent during that visit than the others. After that I went to Cape Cod Hand Therapy and got a much more thorough initial consultation, that involved measuring my hand mobility...something that was NEVER done at CCR. They also made a custom splint, which I wore every day for several months and that eventually corrected the problem. I really wish I had saved the several hundred dollars I spent at CCR and just started with Cape Cod Hand Therapy, which specializes in hand issues. Cape Cod Rehab does all kinds of rehab and at least for me, was completely inept at dealing with my issue and a complete waste of money! The lack of assistance I got after receiving the bill left a very sour taste in my mouth. Cape Cod Rehab seems far more interested in money than it does about helping their patients and getting them actual results. If I could give them 0 stars I would! read more

Came here to use the gym and for physical therapy on my knee and shoulder. Love the fitness trainers here. Super friendly staff. The PT worked wonders on my knee and got me back on the field. The pool is definitely one of the best parts. I did some exercises in it for PT and swam laps as a part of my gym membership. read more
