Amazing! Service was impeccable. I had a appointment this morning and was in and out less than an hour. They were ready for me and did an excellent job addressing my tire issue. I was sure that no matter what the issue was... Because they were a tire store they were going to recommend I try and upsell tires. They did not. I had a flat tire on my mom mobile and needed all four tires changed anyway so I made an appointment for the next day and had the car towed to them. Instead of hearing back from them the next day as anticipated, I heard back from them the same day, a full 24 hours early, saying the car was done, they saw my car seats and realized I likely needed my car badly, and so they prioritized it. It is unusual to get a better deal on the Cape than anywhere else, but that was the case in a new tires I got put on my Tesla. The staff was outstanding, friendly, informative, and the waiting room was very comfortable. You also have the option to sit outside, if you like I would definitely recommend and I would definitely say if you have a reason to be on the Cape for an extended period, and want to get tires done this is the place to go! read more

I needed to replace tires on my RV and, although I couldn't make an appointment because the trailer was considered "commercial" (couldn't be done inside on the lift) they fit me in and did a great job at a reasonable price. Hello, I went to Cape Tire in Hyannis, Saturday at 11:30 am with a nail in my tire. I asked if they could put a plug in it and the person at the desk said no and that they closed at noon. You can try Sullivan Tire down the street. How long does it take to put a plug in the tire? I would have paid for the service and gave a great tip. Poor service and attitude seems to be the normal at repair shops these days. I will never go back there or Sullivan tire for tires or repairs. By the way I am a woman and I bet if it was their mother, wife or daughter service would have been very different. read more

I am literally appalled by the unfair business practices of Cape Tire. My father who ran over some nails, punctured the driver side front and rear tires. This happened right in front of his driveway. Mind you, my dad is 87 years old and gets along quite well. He called AAA who towed his car to Cape Tire. Now I saw both of the tires that were leaking air. This punctures were right on the tread. Instead of patching the tires, the sales person told him that the tires could not be repaired and he would have to purchase 2 new tires. My father just bought 4 brand new tires from Cape Tire and was charged 900.00 for that back in May. Less than 6 months ago and only 1000 miles on the tires. Now they just gave him an estimate for over 250.00 to replace the tires. Brand new tires, under warranty and have chose to take advantage of my dad because he is a senior. I am disgusted with the business practices here and I'm really surprised this place hasn't been called out on fraudulent business practices. read more

Bob (owner) and his team are friendly, extremely professional, and offer great products and service. I have a fleet of vans for work, as well as my personal vehicle, and we have had our tires replaced and tire repair performed at Cape Tire Service for years. They give you a variety of options to fit your needs and budget - prices are great and competitive. Clean and comfortable waiting room, but they offer a ride (probably within reason!) if you are unable to wait. I'm always impressed by the customer service here. Thank you Bob and staff! read more

The best place to get your car fixed or have maintenance on the Cape. They get you in as soon as possible and they are upfront with you on what is going on with your car and how much it's going to cost. Located close to a number of shops and the mall if you have to wait for a while and have no vehicle, or you can wait in the lobby where there is coffee, snacks and television to keep you occupied. Highly recommend for anything from oil changes to major work for your vehicle. read more

A month ago I had a leak in one of my tires and they were expedient and professional at repairing it for me. This week, I had another tire leaking and as a walk-in, they took my jeep right in and repaired my tire (which had a nail in it). The price was very reasonable and service was prompt. I am from out-of-town and was on the Cape for a few days vacation. The day before we were scheduled to leave, I got a cut in one of my tires and needed a replacement. I called Cape Tire late in the afternoon and they said they could order the tire and have it by 9am the next day. I got to their shop just after 9 and they had the tire. They mounted it and had my car done in less than an hour. All the guys I dealt with were very courteous, friendly and professional. The service was excellent, and the waiting area is clean and comfortable; I was even able to do some work with their available wi-fi. read more

Talk about honest. I was on vacation in Cape Cod when my brakes started making all kinds of noises. I took it to Cape Tire Service and the mechanic called me about an hour later and told me no service was needed. He said back tire pads were replaced (absolutely correct) however rotors were not replaced at same time. Said I could likely get a lot more wear out of brakes if I could ignore noise. On vacation we realized we had a brake issue that needed dealt with quickly. We tried four other places who didn't care that we were on vacation and needed help. When I called Cape Tire they asked us to drop the vehicle the next morning and they'd work it in. We dropped it that afternoon as we weren't going to drive it and they actually got it on the rack that day yet to diagnose. They kept me informed and gave me pricing. My poor car just kept breaking and breaking and since I'd lived far from the area for many years, I no longer knew who to take my car to upon my return. I am grateful I selected this auto repair shop! My requests for accurate estimates were honored, I didn't have to wait too long for the appointments to repair the brakes, replace tires, replace ignition coils, etc, and communication between the shop owner/manager and me was excellent and reliable. Being familiar with parts and labor costs, I'd say this place charges average prices for the area. I haven't yet checked to see if they'd do a repair if I supplied the parts so I can't speak to that. Their facility has limited parking but inside, there's a comfortable lobby with a Keurig and tea, if you'd like to wait. Their bathroom isn't filthy like a lot of auto shops so that's a plus, too. I had to wait for some repairs and was relieved to discover I was in comfort there. Their interactions with other customers seemed very honest and positive as well. During one appointment, they even had students from the Tech School shadowing the mechanics. I highly recommend these folks for any common repair! read more
