Do not get lash extensions here! This is only a review for their lash extensions. I've never had any other service here, however I am unlikely to based on this experience. I was in a situation where I couldn't see my normal person in town so I booked here out of convenience. It was much more expensive than any other place in town but I figured it would be worth it. After my appointment I noticed that many of my lashes we're going in different directions. I tried to brush them with the lash brush only to find that over 50% of my lashes were glued together and tangled. I wore them for an event and even my girlfriends noticed that they looked strange. One friend commented that it looked like I was going to get poked in the eye. Upon further inspection I realized that many of my natural lashes had begun to fall out but because of the glue situation, they were still trapped in with the other lashes. As I started to remove the dead lashes as gently as I could, clumps began to fall out. I went to my regular gal and had them removed. My natural lashes are so damaged that she recommended waiting a week or two before getting a new set. I've had last extensions for four years, done all over the country and this was a first for me. I booked them for my summer wedding after I received a referral from another salon. First, their communication was a little off from the get go I had to call them and remind them that they hadn't taken my deposit. Days before the wedding, one of their girls scheduled for our wedding wasn't able to make it due to a personal emergency so they told us they had to come (on-site) early in order to accommodate the fill-in girl's schedule. Well it was way too early, we had things to get done for the wedding but we just decided to have the bridesmaids get their make up done (wasn't originally part of the plan but we wanted to get our money's worth). Make up was mediocre, a handful of girls ended up re-touching their make up because they didn't like what they did. As for my hair and make up (the bride), she did a great job but she was way too chatty and had poor time management. She ended up running an hour over time, which may not seem like a big deal but when you are on a schedule for a wedding it's a HUGE DEAL. That hour bumped in to everything. We were supposed to get all our pictures done before the ceremony but couldn't because of my hair and make up. We ended having to take pictures after the ceremony that cut into our time with our guests. Not to mention, we were charged for that over time. I appreciated her work and her friendliness but she made the day leading up to my wedding, very stressful. I didn't appreciate that my mom had to pay additional money too for the extra hour. I would not recommend them especially for the prices they charge. read more

I've been going to Capelli's since it opened around 2000. As a single young woman, I was there at least once a month treating myself to various treatments. I've seen the spa grow and expand its services. I've NEVER had a bad experience there. The triple triage is my favorite package. My husband knows that a little gift bag from Capelli's is always appreciated. My only complaint is that some of the stylists move in and out of the salon frequently. I understand that's part of the business in this area, but I wish I could visit the same stylist more often. Regardless, I think Capelli's is the best day spa in the area. The ambiance is unique, the services are varied and fairly priced, and all the stylists, massage therapists, estheticians, nail techs are professional and exceptional. read more

Scheduled a spa mani/pedi here on a Saturday. When I drove up I couldn't figure out where to go. There is no signage on the building/warehouse, but thankfully another patron was going in at the same time and told me which door (Unit D) to use. The inside of the building is gorgeous! I love how everything is decorated, and it's crazy to think that the exterior of the building hides such a gem of a place. Kathryn did my mani/pedi and was super sweet and friendly. The whole process took about an hour and a half and was very relaxing. She did a mask on my hands which felt wonderful, and their foot soak is lovely too. The disappointing part of my visit was the nail polish they use, (It did not appear to be salon grade quality, but the stuff you can buy at Ulta, Sally, etc.) the irate customer yelling on her cell phone for 20 minutes next to me in the foot spa area, and the insane prices they charge. My manicure lasted 2 days, which was disappointing when I paid quite a bit for my services. I credit that to the low quality nail polish, as the nail tech did a fantastic job in my opinion. It was incredibly awkward and not enjoyable whatsoever when the lady next to me was allowed to be on her phone for twenty minutes with her credit card company, arguing and disputing her bill. I was shocked that such a gorgeous and high end establishment would allow that. Nearly ruined my experience. And then to be charged $80 for a mani/pedi. Shocked. By the time I tipped out, I spent $100 and didn't get more than basic polish done! Overall, this place is amazing by the looks of it, but not worth the price in my opinion. Especially if they let their clients be on the phone while other people are trying to relax and paying lots of $$ to experience the salon. read more

I found my forever stylist. Hands down. Best experience I've ever had getting my hair done. It has been hard to find a stylist that listens to my needs but remains honest and realistic. Kelsey did that and more! She heard everything I had to ask and made me comfortable with what direction we would need to go in order for me to go from brunette to blonde. I have never had a positive salon experience in the few times I've visited other salons in Bozeman. Capelli's knocks it out of the park.. I am beyond grateful for the professionalism both Kelsey and Capelli's in general have and have already booked my next appointment. read more

I've gone here for 7 or so years and have been with the same stylist, Brooke, from the start. When I first moved to Bozeman, I went to Sage for about a year, but every single time I went to get my hair done, the person I had last had either quit or been fired...not a good sign. I'm so happy with Capelli's and I get compliments on my hair weekly. Brooke and the staff at Capelli's take so much care in the overall experience, and are constantly learning new techniques so they're always ahead of the game. I LOVE CAPELLIS! I see Britt and she constantly has a smiling face and a contagious welcoming attitude. She can always get me in a few days after I call to make an appointment. I love the results with my hair EVERY TIME. I also love how we get a free deep condition with the color treatments. The salon itself is so creative and just a fun environment. Atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. I sat down and explained the damage done to my hair by another salon and explained in the best detail I could what I would like and showed a few photos of the exact A-Line cut and the colors I would like. Or at least try to get as close as possible to what I would like. I wanted Balayage with warm caramels to warm up my dark hair and a A-Line cut. Long in front and short in back with the shortest part being just above my shoulders to middle neck if need be. She did the color first before cutting. Dark on my roots and a blonde on my tips only. This is not Balayage. Then came the cut. She trimmed up my tips about half an inch or so to even them up and asked if I wanted it curled. My hair was trimmed, perfectly even and no A-line was given. I then asked is she could make the back of my hair shorter, keep the front longer and give me the A-Line cut we had discussed. She laughed and said yes and that she had forgotten we were doing that. I roughly pointed out how short I'd be willing to go on my neck for the cut. She turned me from the mirror and went to work. The cut is all one length front and back. It is to my chin. All of it. No A-Line. All of the new color was cut off. (I was not charged for the color). It's much, much shorter than I ever wanted to go. I need longer hair in front to elongate my round face. I now look like a bobble head and want to cry. I asked if I could get simple, beachy waves in it to see if I'd like it then. I got full on bouncy curls in my super short hair and felt like a poodle. I'm very passive and non confrontational so I paid for the cut and went home disappointed. I tried so, so very hard to explain verbally in detail what I wanted, twice and showed many pictures. Now I don't want to waste money trying to achieve the color I want till it gets to the length I originally wanted because why dye super short hair you hate? Hopefully in a few months it will get long enough to color and try again. The girl who did it was extremely nice and friendly. I just think everything I asked for got lost in the process and I left feeling Like an 80's housewife with a fat bobble head face. read more

I just moved to Bozeman and am always a little scared to find a new salon and stylist. I was incredibly happy to have found Beckie at Capelli's!!!!! She is amazing! The best cut and color ever! And the salon...although the outside is a warehouse, when you come inside it's absolutely beautiful! I highly recommend you give them a try!!!
