This is by far the worst financial institution that I have ever done business with. They have given…read moreme the run around for the past 3 days over fraudulent charges. I work outside the hours of the branches in town (9-4) so I haven't made it in to sit down in the office. I've attempted calling there "Customer Service" line several times and I have yet to be helped. I have been transferred around and around to 6 different people, all asking the same ID verification questions, just to transfer me to a line that disconnected. As soon as I can get my money returned to me I will be closing this account and never looking back.

Withdrawal limits on debit cards and a stupidly low limit ($5,000) for deposits made through their online app are inconvenient and nonsensical. With Bank of America- the worst bank in the history of the universe- being the other choice, even Ameris looks not horrible.
