I have nothing but praise for Elliott and his crew!!! They charge by the hour and there us no lolly-gagging on their part! They are polite and handle belongings with care. When moving into storage, they made sure that specifically marked boxes were placed at the front of the storage unit so that we have easy access to them before the move into her apartment. I would like to point out all of her boxes were properly taped, fragile items identified, and not to heavy to be reasonably handled. I have used movers a total of ten times over the years, and I know how to pack! And I would rate A1 in the top two companies I have used. Will be using them again in October!

Even for like five days out. Super strange to me. I had to arrive in town and show up in front of this nice building sweaty, in a large Penske truck, hoping they had availabilities. When speaking with the front desk, I was all but assured that with my short timeline, I'd be able to snag a climate controlled unit when I came. Well, guess what wasn't available when I rolled up? So I got stuck with a unit a size down, and not climate controlled. My deceased mother was an artist and I have many of her original works on canvas I was concerned about in the extreme humidity of a Florida summer, so I ended up just keeping them out. I also wasn't told until the end that I had to provide my own lock, and ended up having to buy one right there from them at an inflated price. Now, you may say, why not just go to a different storage unit place if all this stuff happened ? Well, that's why I'm writing the review, I guess. You make your own decision. Clean, professional, and the Jet Set Company Staff was really respectful of cars in the parking lot and furniture on the porches. They go out of their way to make the day-to-day routine of the residents go on uninterrupted. I was informed of the procedure well in advance so if I had any questions or concerns i could address Jet Set company through the contact staff member, they gave to me. We did a telephone verbal agreement (as a 6 year honorable combat veteran I gave him the military brothers respect b/c he introduced himself as a 10 year vet of USMC (THIS WAS A LIE!!) I drove from Columbia SC almost 9 hours w/a helper (all expenses out of pocket) to help him b/c his "rope guy " he had to fire b/c drug habit (never had a rope man) agreement was informal dinner meeting upon arrival to discuss taking over as project manager position because he has.. and I quote "a entire crew of complete dumb asses who need 24/7 supervision and babysitting combined . He had a 4 star suite booked for a week for me and my partner to share, and will compensate me all receipts for entire week of receipts and at minimum $30/hr plus $18/hr for my helper... got their , no meeting (he already went to his room b/c HE was on a plane 3 hours , called his secretary on 3 way who advised him she didn't book our room, we were later told to go to a La Quinta in such bad shape the crackheads warned us about roaches when we went back downstairs to get towels and soap that housekeeping forgot to put in the room , next day we observed around 11 guys w/ Jet Seal Shirts trying to figure out the best way to clean glass b/c apparently the contract is to do ALL OF THE MUSIC CITY CENTERs 2.1 million sq/ft facility glass (inside and out) and be finished in 2 WEEKS) (remind u OUR AGREEMENT WAS 1 week) I was introduced to a guy (from Nashville ) who was apparently now the "project manager) b/c he responded to a Craigslist add the day before we arrived looking for anyone who knows how to rapell down a building (he used to stack cell towers, has never cleaned glass b4, nor owns ANY ROPE ACCESS equiptment at all (sorry I forgot the part about my partner and I arrived on site with approx 20k worth or rigging gear/harness/hardware ect. I ask when are we goin to discuss what's going on (because all day he's been in and out walking around on the telephone wile the rest of his "crew" is breaking just about EVERY OSHA rule written since early 80's wile the spent the entire day trying to learn the art of window washing as they go along, That evening Jim finally calls me and asks "so how many windows did u and your guy get done today) Needless to say my partner and I (and equiptment ) are back home in SC , I'm down around $900 of my lien hard earned money , they are officially on day 3 in Nashville of the (2week job) which btw took the previous contractor and his PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCED CREW approx 3 MONTHS TO COMPLETE " job . To top it all off, one of their work trucks almost hit me multiple times going down Thomasville rd as well as other cars. It was a large black ram pickup truck. I own a flat-roofed duplex, and another company…read more(Tadlock) had completely misquoted and messed up the preparations for re-roofing the entire 2000 sq. ft. roof, so I had to turn to another company to rescue the project. Jenkins Roofing came recommended by the company doing the sub-structure repair work (massive leak into one of the bedrooms), and they came through beautifully. Apparently not that many roofing companies know what they're doing when it comes to flat roofs, but Jenkins had clearly done this kind of job before. They are finishing up as I write this, and everything I've seen so far indicates that the job was exceptionally well done. I've had at least one major downpour since they buttoned everything up (membrane roofing), and not one leak. Clean operation, reasonably efficient -- especially considering they had to keep stopping and starting due to persistent afternoon thunderstorms. Thumbs up on this company.
