I had a brand new vinyl fence installed in march of 2018 . At first it was beautiful. Looked very nice and straight. Well a few months later a few of the posts started going crooked so I reached out and they came back to fix it . 3 times this happened. They would come and just straighten it and put a bag of concrete in and it would shift again. After a while it stayed straight for a few years and now it's crooked again. I just don't think they did the repairs the proper way and tried getting away with a rig job. Is recently had a fence put in by Capital. The salesperson came out to provide a free estimate for my yard and was very professional and knowledgeable about what would work for my area. I compared the quotes to other companies and felt that Capital provided the best value and craftsmanship. It's important to look past the price in some cases; however, they where the second cheapest among my quotes. They came out and completed my fence project within a week. The final product was great. The rep worked very hard, making several visits to the site to get the details right. The price was in line with the competition. There were three reasons I did not sign a contract with Capital 1. When I presented a discount coupon, it seemed to present an impediment to moving forward. I think ultimately they would have honored it, but we never got that far 2. I'm keen on having the fence posts plumb and the fence straight. They could not guarantee that 3. One detail required them to work to 1/2 in tolerance. I had an old fence removed and a new fence installed in Fall 2019. I originally had the estimate done in July, where I was told there was a 4 week delay before they could start. This was understandable, and the estimate seemed like a good value. I paid half of the job within a few days of that estimate. 4 weeks go by and I hear nothing. I had to call for them to tell me it was another couple weeks. Then 2 weeks go by and I still haven't heard anything. I called again and was told I'd hear something by the end of August. Eventually I got a call informing me of the date they'd start the work. The date finally comes, I took the day off of work so someone could be home while they worked. It's lunch time and nobody has showed up yet so I give them a call and was told they'd be right over as other work took priority. It gets to be almost 5 PM so I call again, the person on the phone was apologetic but I never really got an answer, they say they'll be there first thing tomorrow. So at this point I've already wasted an entire day, not to mention I didn't get paid since I didn't work that day. The next day I have my fiancé stay home. They showed up in the morning, removed the old fence and installed the new one. My fiancé informed me they were swearing up a storm the entire time and complaining about how they "hate this job". They left at the end of the day without saying anything to me (I was home at this point), leaving the job mostly done except for the gate. They showed up the next day for a few hours to finish the gate. I inspected the fence and noticed a few nails were missing so I informed them and they fixed it. Once the job was done I took a look around and found cigarettes all over my yard, as well an empty Gatorade bottle, and some other garbage. They had also left a portion of the old fence behind the new one, essentially on the neighbors property. There was also minor damage to one of the panels. The gate also didn't open fully, it opened about halfway before getting caught on the ground. I called about all of these things, and they came and removed the old fence and fixed the damaged panel and gate, but that was it. I asked about getting some discount for the complete waste of a day I had plus all the other things I had to deal with and was told no. In the end I'm mostly fine how how the fence turned out. However the fence seems like it's flush with the ground on one side of the yard but not on the other, but I wasn't about to make them rip it out and do it again at this point. We recently had a fence install by capital. There were Issues with the installation which they made good on some of the problems and left a mess. When we asked to speak with the owner we were notified that he was too busy and couldn't call back every customer who had a problem (Really) he finally got back in a text message, not even a phone call . Project Type - Replace back chain-link fence with a taller vinyl fence, replace chain-link gate across the driveway with a taller chain link fence. We have a new German Shepherd puppy who needed a taller everything! Price - By far the best price in our area and we checked with a *lot* of local companies. Other places wanted twice as much money as Capital quoted us. Their materials are the same or better as other companies, so they don't 'cheap out' on supplies whatsoever! We paid half of the amount due before the project was started, and the other half when it was completed. Customer Service - Super nice woman who set up our free estimate over the phone, really nice guy who came out (within a day!) for the actual estimate. They gave us a phone call the day before coming to start the job and made sure that the gas lines had been marked off (they were). Workers - Two guys completed our project in just two days. They were respectful of our property, they didn't leave garbage around the yard afterward and they recycled the water bottles we had put out in a cooler for them. Besides the new fence & gate, you'd *never* know that anyone had even been in the yard - that's how immaculate they left it! Overall - 100% would recommend Capital Fence Company! They did a beautiful job and I'll try to update this with before/after pictures once it's sunny enough outside to take them. read more

While I went to Capital Fence for a small project, they were a huge help. I needed to put in a gate and small section of fence along my driveway (about 12.5' in total) but I had no idea why I needed. The ladies who work the office were extremely helpful and knew exactly what I needed. I ended up getting a black vinyl chainlink option with a 5' gate. They got me all of the hardware and such that I needed to install the new fence and gate. The only additional thing that I needed was a few bags of concrete. But that's not a big deal. I was impressed with how quickly I was able to get my fencing and how helpful they were in making sure that I had ALL the hardware I needed to install it myself. It was a one-day project putting up the gate and now my pups can run free in the yard. I'm sure they also do fence installations, so if you aren't adventurous or just don't have time, they can set you up. read more

Horrible customer service. Find another fence company that's wants to earn your busy and treats prospective customers with curtesy and is true to their word. This was a major disappointment ! There are a lot of fence companies out there to chose from read more
