We scrounged to get the project at 15k so we can afford the loan payment. Low and behold a contractor comes out and I find out not only is the subflooring repair not on the estimate, the sq ft of flooring is wrong and it's got sink faucets instead of shower heads (vanity was going to be untouched by this project). The boss lady calls me and first thing out her mouth is we're going to start from scratch.... so your not even going to try to make this right? Your just going to throw it all away and start over like this huge mess up didn't happen? Like y'all didn't help me take out a credit line on a project estimate that wasn't accurate and btw, I asked to see it several times, was refused based on proprietary something, but had he shown me maybe it would've been caught. She says it's obvious I can't be made happy when she didn't even try! All I asked was for a sales person who actually knows what their doing and a contractor to come out (which was already scheduled for Friday so I guess that's cancelled to?) To give me real prices instead of half a quote. Moral of the story, if they mess up they're just going to trash your project instead of making it right. Good thing nothing had started yet, God knows how they would've screwed us over had the project actually gotten started. Found out the assumption was made that I would expect them to do the whole project for the original price. I never said nor implied such although that would be making it right when they royally messed up. I attempted to try and find a resolution but they didn't even try.

I have never had worse customer service. I was one of two customers in the store and there were two…read moreladies "working" (they were actually just standing there talking). After looking around for about 10 minutes (without being greeted) the other customer gets greeted by one lady and asked if she needs help. The other lady "working" walked past me, barely made eye contact and walked right past to a shelf nearby. I continued to shop and found some items I wanted to purchase. When I wanted to buy things not a single person could be found to ring up my items. I guess they didn't want my money. Note to employees there: just because I'm a young adult doesn't mean I don't have the money to buy your products. Just because I'm younger doesn't mean I don't want a greeting or that I don't have questions. I work retail and I value good customer service and I happen to like cooking so I would have gladly spent a decent amount of money at your store until I was completely ignored.

You know how it goes. You have an idea of something you want to make (version two of the chili…read moregarlic crisp) and how you want to make it (sliced garlic instead of chopped), but no idea if the tool you would need (a mini-mandoline) exists. Spoiler alert: it DOES exist, and you can buy it in-store, today! This Crate and Barrel is located in the Galleria, so it is extremely convenient for me. Despite it being Saturday afternoon (and thus busy), there was ample parking. To add to the positive experience, I was immediately greeted by a helpful employee who directed me to the microplane department, where I found my precious (mini-mandoline). Superb! The clearance department was close by, too, and I found a gorgeous stainless steel bento box (at a great price). My coworkers are going to be so jealous. The final "make for a great experience" happened in hole I was in line to check out--another helpful employee asked if I was going to pay with a card (I was) and offered to check me out right away, so I was in and out as quick as can be. I hired Gerhard's in Edina to replace my kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities including granite…read moreand quartz countertops. We selected the AristoKraft line of cabinets and are VERY disappointed in the quality. Junk!! The pull out shelves keep falling off the track. We've had to make modifications to make them more stable. Also, one of my bathroom countertops was not measured correctly so it doesn't reach all the way to the wall. There is at least a 1/2" gap that they filled with caulk along the front edge. It looks hideous. Plus they installed a damaged refrigerator panel, measured my crown molding incorrectly and now it juts out past the wall edge even though I spent so much time on the phone picking out a crown that WOULDN'T do that. They offered to take off $400 for the crown molding screw up but never fixed any of the other issues mentioned. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I've worked with a large number of companies and their staff. Dominic one of the first to ever take the time to let me know. Usually they show up sometime within 3-4 hour time frame company promised. If they call it's usually "I'm here in front of your house!" What a gentleman! Was done in an hour. Perfect installation. Could not have been more thorough in explaining care and maintenance. Left the room spotless. Seriously, I never write reviews. But he was impressive. Even looked at some paint samples and gave me honest opinion, so much appreciated.
