Then I asked for a copy of the document (which was 12 pages) and she told me if it was 1 page she could do it but not what I had. I ask you, what kind of customer service is this? She took my license and card in order to look up my account and started asking me some questions to update my profile information and not addressing the fee at all. It looked like she was about to address the fee until there were two more people who came in behind me so I was told to take a seat and wait for someone who could help me. I was assigned to a Merrill Lynch/BOA advisor. So I go with the advisor to her office and tell her about the fee. She starts talking about building a portfolio with them and stuff like financial planning, investments and why I have xyz products with them, etc. until I tell her that I'm running out of time on my lunch break and would appreciate if we could address the fee. She says she can't do anything about the fee, only brought me in here to tell me how to avoid it. Um.. okay? Then why did we just spend the last 20 minutes talking about unrelated stuff? The advisor explains that only the manager can waive the fee which I understood. I stayed in her office while she went to ask the manager, only to come back and tell me that the manager said she had already addressed it. And that the manager was the first lady I talked to. WOW. What a complete waste of my time. To BOA: This is a great example of how to lose a longtime customer.

I can't speak to that. But Wells Fargo, as a local branch of your bank, filled with fellow residents of the area, seems excellent. I have only been here one time. I do not hold banking accounts with WF, but I have had two loans through them. My bank only recently installed a local branch in the area. I wanted to get some US Government Bonds cashed at my bank, but my local branch does not do teller services at that location. And, I found, no other bank would cash my bonds because I am not a member of other banks. Bank of America used to let nonmembers cash bonds with values of less than $1000, but that policy has changed. I called several local banks and none would cash mine, as I am not a member. You can cash US Government bonds by mailing them in to the US Treasury, but I did not want to because A. Ain't Nobody Got Time for That B. You are supposed to send them via certified mail, and I really didn't freaking want to pay for that. Finally, I called and found that this location would cash my US Government bonds. When I went in, I was really impressed with the excellent customer service. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone introduced themselves to me, some employees even shook my hand. I had a very pleasant experience here, and I was very glad to be able to get my money from Wells Fargo.

I never received email replies or call backs but when I called the branch and was transferred to her line, she responded to me as if she'd never met me or wasn't familiar. And we have heard nothing regarding the line-of-credit. Thus far, we enjoy banking with Chase but will go to another branch to attend to our direct business needs.
