Memories... memories…read more.. This is the Capital One Bank Branch where I opened my most recent checking account. My G-d it's been at least 7 years. No complaints here. Everyone has been nice and they get people in and out quickly. I haven't been here in a while, but the last time I went, they had one of those giant coin machines that you can dunk your hoarded pennies and nickels in. That thing is loud as all get up. But really handy as... you're inside of a bank. This is in the shopping center on Old Georgetown road with the new Not Your Average Joes, Quartermaine, Chipotle, Flippin' Pizza. The parking is pretty good, and if you would like to either celebrate or drink to forget after you to the bank... there's a beer and wine store 2 doors down. I stopped visiting this branch as much as I don't work across the street anymore, but I wouldn't hesitate to stop in and say hi. Everyone's super friendly.

Everyone is helpful, specially, the bank teller Kelsey Hage in Bethesda MD branch. I purchased a house, needed to wire transfer $70k to another bank. I walked in expecting bank personnel to help me, however I found, I have to do this online by myself. I never did this before, I was very worried about transferring this large amount. Kelsey felt my anxiety, she stepped in and was extremely helpful, got me through this tedious process.

When I notified him; he got angry and yelled at me to leave the Branch in the presence of 5 of his colleagues as he was embarrassed to get BUSTED. Manager, Gomez had the audacity to threaten me that he would call the COPS when I visited the branch to meet my Investment Banker as a "CHASE PRIVATE CLIENT" THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU INVEST A DIME WITH THIS BANK/BRANCH.

Everything is very new and nice as they just opened. Since it's a newly opened branch the staff had to check with others in the back often to ask questions but were really friendly about it and prompt. I am giving them one star because we drove a good ways to come down to this bank to take care of some items to only find out they weren't done correctly and we were called to come back in. The staff did apologize however we had to take a day off work to drive back down here as our banking needs weren't done correctly the first time.

While I waited, one teller hung out in the lobby on the sofa. A bank specialist was talking to a client in an office/private room with the door open. After the specialist put a banking person on his speaker phone, anyone in the lobby could hear the conversation. After 10 minutes, the door was closed. No privacy for that client! Later a bank specialist greeted me. He offered an office in the open space lobby, but I asked for private room to handle my banking needs. He was 10 minutes late. In about 8 minutes, he excused himself to go help the teller. He told me they were understaffed. The manager of this bank was not there. Meanwhile the specialist got into conversation with another person --- a second interruption during my appointment time. I never completed the service I wanted done. The lack of professionalism of the staff was not appreciated. Making an appointment is for someone who wants to spend hours at a bank branch waiting to get a service done that would have taken 20 minutes. I have gone to this branch for 20+ years. The last time I went to this branch was 2.5 months ago when I had another negative experience. Well Fargo Bank needs to train their staff for their different jobs! There was no manager on site. They were understaffed.

Guy looks at me like I'm about to rob the place. And then I ask him if I can just pop in to get some quarters. In the rudest tone he tells me they're closed. I start to say "But.." And he cuts me off and says we're closed. No big deal in the overall situation but that is not how I would expect a bank emplotee to treat a customer, even if you're closed. I opened up another bank account a few months ago. Not sure if I'll cancel Wells Fargo but they seem to do everything worse than my new bank. Even more disturbing is the their inability to read or comprehend unambiguous language or straightforward instructions, their incompetence, and their careless provision of inaccurate, false, and misleading information to their customers. I had an almost perfect credit score personally (800+). I had zero debt personally and zero debt…read morethrough my business. I had a business that was growing. I had paid off a lot of previous debt so I demonstrated the ability to pay previous obligations. I literally should have been their ideal client. But they denied my $1 million+ revenue business any line of credit (LOC), even a modest $50K. I went to another bank and got a $100K line of credit that was limited only because they were freaked out by Chain Bridge Bank's refusal to lend. A year later, I got a $250K line of credit with my new bank. Chain Bridge Bank appears to cater only to political campaigns. I fail to understand this since that's a very very risk undertaking. But they don't seem to care about almost sure-thing local businesses that are growing rapidly. And now we are 3 times the size only a few years later due to no help from them since they refused to extend a LOC.

I was completely mentally and emotionally overloaded and in shock at how severe my mother's condition had become and Omni was not only caring and supportive, she listened and helped me get everything that I needed in place while I was in town so that I could get my mom's affairs in order. She gave me so much personal attention and was extremely responsive and caring throughout the whole process.
