One of my favorite things is that they have free lattes on Mondays if you are a Discover or Capital One customer. They have a smaller selection of specialties than other cafes, but I really enjoy the options they have. It's right downtown next to Campus Martius, so a great place to check out if you're downtown.

Excellent Verve Coffee cafe in a Capital One serving coffee, tea and snacks like yogurt cups, muffins and sandwiches - and this is the major awesome thing, if you have any Capital One credit card (I have a Quicksilver) or debit card ai believe, all beverages are 50% (that's right FIFTY, FIVE-ZERO) off!!! What a bargain. Very spacious interior atmosphere as well with plenty of seating, and I believe an actual Capital One bank upstairs. Highly recommended if you are in Downtown Detroit!

What a lovely cafe and environment!! I can't believe it took me so long to come here. I will be correcting this and coming here frequently. Spacious place to relax. Upstairs and downstairs seating with lovely downtown Detroit views. Modern decor. Outdoor patio as well. ATMs inside. Everyone is welcome here but if you have a capital one credit card, food and beverages are 50% off. Wow! I had a fabulous honey lavender latte! I look forward to trying food next time. Fast and friendly service. Helpful ambassadors to discuss capital one products, if you are interested. I love this place! Clean restrooms with Dyson dryers. Relaxing vibe, lots of windows and natural light.

I wish these cafes had more food options to choose from. But it is a nice perk to get half off drinks as a card member holder! I also love that you can talk to employees about credit and financial inquiries. For those without a capital one card, fear not! You may also join in on the fun!

What an awesome place! We went today and Eber was so welcoming and nice. The vibe is great. Timothy is the best barista! It's the perfect coffee break if you work nearby. We enjoyed the $1 craft drinks Friday-Saturday in August. It was too bad they were totally out of non-dairy options but everything else made up for it. The brown sugar jelly in the drinks reminded me of boba. The restrooms were clean and the meeting space upstairs was great. There were plenty of plugs and room to stretch out. It was a much nicer space to relax/work than the coffee shop down the street. The easy going nature of the banker also made it easier for me to ask questions about my Capital One card that I've had for years but never really used. I totally recommend going and I'll be back soon

My absolute favorite place to study! Staff is always so nice and drinks are 50% off if you use your capital one card. It's spacious with a great view of downtown detroit.

Super hot so it took a bit to cool, but then a strong roast. While the laws of thermodynamics were underway, I was able to watch the flow of customers, observe the "Javabot" that sadly no one used this morning and watch the Detroit traffic circling around Campus Martius. Other than I was not able to get their wifi to work (Detroit has a free wifi as well), it was a good resting spot with quiet background music and it never did get any other sit down customers while I dawdled. I was here just after they opened (at 6 am!) and enjoyed morning coffee and wifi before heading to the office. I love a coffee shop that has a cortado on the menu. Or a Gibraltar. This tells me that the barista isn't some button pusher but instead of a craft coffee barista who actually has some training. I'm talking to you, Green Siren people. The barista this morning assembled a perfect cortado for me. Half espresso and half steamed (not foamed) milk in a short glass. I love the cortado because it's the same amount of coffee as a big latte but now I won't need to hit the restroom all morning! It was fabulous, delivered to my table as I wrote my morning's Yelp reviews. Dessert Oasis is a little grunge, a little industrial, a little coffee shop. It's not fancy but they have lovely wooden tables, comfortable seating, quiet music and power outlets. If I wasn't heading into the office, I could spend all day sitting here and OD'ing on great coffee. [Review 869 of 2025 - 434 in Michigan - 24426 overall]

From their cakes and cookies, to their parfaits and macaroons, everything just hits. On a most recent visit, I tried their biscoff parfait and it was a show stopper. They do coffee and other assorted beverages as well, but those are just support for the real stars of the show here, their desserts. The cake looked great and had the graham (I might have imagined it), marshmallow, and chocolate flavor elements in each bite, but it ran a bit dry and sweeter than I prefer. I'm in the "less sugar is more" minority, so most people might be fine with it. I guess I should have expected it given the name. The iced matcha latte used decent matcha and tasted light and pleasant, no grit. Inside, it is all pastels and cake themed accents, with the general vibe of "yeah, there are macarons here." The real plus is being near Little Caesars Arena in the newer development area, which makes it convenient for grabbing a treat and a drink while downtown.
