I have since been coming to this dental clinic for approximately 5 years. As mentioned, the location is really great. The clinic is welcoming, warm and clean. The hours here are great. They often open as early as 7:30am (I think) allowing you to come by before work. Staff here are always friendly and courteous. They've always dealt with my insurance well too, if I owe anything they usually just give me a call, rather than having me pay upfront too. I like this, this is convenient for me. They have a program here too, each referral will earn you a gift card of sorts. I referred a friend, and they issued me a $25 Mastercard gift card! Amazing! My only complaint about this dental clinic is the high turn over in staff. It seems I have a new hygienist and dentist every time I visit... Dr. Shiff is also excellent at finding other oral or facial problems (skin, jaw, etc). The only negative aspect, is that it's difficult to become a new patient. You'll have to wait for cancellations. Yesterday, though, i had an especially positive experience. I was there for a fairly significant procedure, but before starting, the dentist, Dr. Abdullah Abdul, re-examined the tooth in question and reviewed with me its condition, concluding with asking me if I wanted to carry on with the procedure. In our discussion he was very open to say that, although it is at risk, the tooth currently is in good shape and could never require the procedure. This gave me the opportunity to weigh whether I wanted to move forward and I decided not to. He was quite fine with my decision. I found it very positive that he checked with me again before proceeding with the procedure, even though it meant a loss of income for him and the practice and, likely, a gap in his billing time.

The receptionist is positively fabulous. She has a positive attitude, always greets me with a smile, and is a whiz with insurance processing. Dr. Kassis is an excellent dentist--she is frank and understanding. She is genuinely concerned about her patients' well being and is very professional. I found that Dr. Kassis and her team of dental assistants and hygienists to be knowledgeable, understanding, and gentle with all those annoying poking tools. I did not feel rushed; if I needed a break to rest my mouth they were happy to accommodate. What's really great about the staff at Dr. Kassis' office is they always know who you are and make you feel welcome. Plus I always leave with free floss, mini toothpaste, and a toothbrush--who doesn't love free stuff!
