Since regularly seeing Dr. Shiff, I no longer fear the dentist. The staff are warm and friendly and make sure that the patient is comfortable. Dr. Shiff is down to earth. Examinations and cleanings DON'T hurt. In fact, I was so comfortable the last time that I almost fell asleep...asleep with tools in my mouth. Like a regular day at the spa. Dr. Shiff is also excellent at finding other oral or facial problems (skin, jaw, etc). The only negative aspect, is that it's difficult to become a new patient. You'll have to wait for cancellations. Sure that may be nagtive, but it's always a good sign. I'm looking forward to my next appointment!

I have since been coming to this dental clinic for approximately 5 years. As mentioned, the location is really great. The clinic is welcoming, warm and clean. The hours here are great. They often open as early as 7:30am (I think) allowing you to come by before work. Staff here are always friendly and courteous. They've always dealt with my insurance well too, if I owe anything they usually just give me a call, rather than having me pay upfront too. I like this, this is convenient for me. They have a program here too, each referral will earn you a gift card of sorts. I referred a friend, and they issued me a $25 Mastercard gift card! Amazing! My only complaint about this dental clinic is the high turn over in staff. It seems I have a new hygienist and dentist every time I visit... But if you check with another dentist, you'll probably find out that your situation isn't so bad. Like when Dr. Greenacre wanted to do surgery on my 13-year-old's wisdom teeth even though they weren't fully grown. Thankfully, another dentist said the surgery wasn't necessary, which made us feel a lot better. The staff there are trying their best. However, Dr. Greenacre's diagnoses are unreliable, and the charges he will force you to pay are unfair.

Extremely unimpressed by the dental work I've had done by this woman. The only filling I've ever…read morehad was so sharp it used to cut my mouth all the time... Like she didn't take the effort to smooth it over, luckily my dentist back home smoothed it for me in 2 minutes max. I find her receptionist to be rude and makes me feel uncomfortable every time I'm in. On the same day I got my filling, her and her hygienist talked about going on trips the entire time and it distracted her to the point that she dropped an instrument in my mouth, I'm incredibly thankful it didn't go down my throat, but it did cut me. She calls me by the wrong name EVERY time, and it's never the same wrong name. What tops it off though is that I went in initially to have a bridge put in since I have a missing tooth. I let her know this IMMEDIATELY as I've been waiting 8 years to have it done and frankly I'm getting impatient. First she had me in to do a cleaning, which is fine... At that point I reminded her I wanted to have a bridge put in, so she took x-rays of my mouth and told me to come in for a consultation and a filling. Well that consultation never happened, she booked me towards the end of the day so after the filling when i asked about the bridge she said it was too late and that i need to come in again. Then she referred me to a specialist, who I thought would do a bridge in my mouth. Wrong. I went to the specialist who was fantastic, but she is an implant specialist and does not do bridges, strictly implants. So I paid $130 for a consultation for something I can't actually get. I called my insurance company to ask how much the bridge would cost after insurance eventually. They told me I needed a procedure number that my dentist would give me, so I called my dentist to ask for it. She told me that I needed a consultation appointment to get the number. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dr. Wakter has rescued me on several painful occasions.  On one case, his immediate intervention allowed me to proceed with urgent cancer surgery a few days later. Krystal and Candice make everyone feel genuinely welcome. They prepare and submit all the forms for quick insurance claims. They even check in at home,  after extensive dental proceedures, to make sure I'm ok.  Awwww. Candice helps patients by showing relaxing animal videos to distract while getting frozen or when she is taking XRays. Brenda makes getting your teeth cleaned a happy event.  I've never had more fun being "picked on" and always leave with shiny white teeth. If you are in the market for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Wakter and his amazing staff.  You won't regret it.

Ethical.  he gives honest and two sided opinions about each treatment plan. Does push products or treatments. Provides natural alternatives for anyone who doesn't want to do procedures. Great old school dentist.
