The selection is exceptional, the customer service is on point, and the customers are friendly. It's like a neighborhood bar for cigars. No pretension, just like-minded individuals ready to laugh and share a smoke. If you are new, ask for Paul. He will find something you will enjoy, cut it, light it, and check on you in case it goes out. Bring your friends and enjoy a smoke. Pro tip: Stop at Boomtown coffee first and bring your drink with you.

Second time I went, he was yelling and screaming in the back room and it sounded like he was fighting with someone and when he came up front I asked if he had sparkling water and he berated me by saying he's not my personal barista, I started to pack up my belongings to leave and he starts talking as if breaking the fourth wall in some sitcom or something? If the pirate even reads his reviews, I tell you: get better sofas, fix your humidifier, DONT berate customers for asking for drinks, stop yelling and cussing at the top of your lungs, STOP selling dry and cracking cigars and get a class or something on how to behave like a humble, GRATEFUL human being and give thanks to other customers who even consider going to your business, 1/3 of the inventory in your shelf's and they're DRY!!! To any new customers just go to Joseph's or Nice Ash which are both within driving distance. RUDE. DISRESPECTFUL. INCONSIDERATE. I regret giving this "store" my business.

It's the kind of grown‑folks environment where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and feel completely at ease. The vibe is mature, classy, and full of good energy. Let me start with Yaya, because she is truly the heartbeat of the place. Her personality, professionalism, and warm presence elevate the entire experience. She knows how to make guests feel welcomed, seen, and appreciated. Whether she's checking in, making conversation, or keeping the energy flowing, Yaya is the absolute best kind of staff member who makes you want to come back again and again. The DJ keeps the music on point, blending smooth tracks with upbeat hits that match the mood perfectly. When karaoke kicks off, it's a whole vibe, fun, engaging, and full of personality. It's the type of karaoke where people actually enjoy themselves, not just perform. The crowd is grown, respectful, and there to have a good time. The patio area is another highlight. It's spacious, comfortable, and perfect for stepping outside to enjoy the night air without losing the ambiance. Whether you're smoking a cigar, chatting with friends, or just taking a breather, the patio adds a whole extra layer to the experience. Inside, the ambiance is smooth and inviting, with dim lighting, good music, and a mature crowd that knows how to enjoy themselves without the chaos you find in younger spots. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long week or celebrate something special.

Giorgio's is one of two restaurants located in the beautiful Hotel Granduca across from Uptown Park. This is a very nice and upscale property with both valet and self parking available. When I made the reservation I initially chose inside dining but after arriving we decided to take advantage of their offer to sit outside to take advantage of their lovely patio by the pool and the very pleasant outdoor temperature that evening after a nice rain. We were seated near the door where the pianist was playing nice music inside that allowed us to enjoy it. Giorgio's HRW 3 course dinner this year was $39 and I ordered the Burrata Panzanella Salad as my first course followed by Cavatelli Bolognese for the second finishing with the Flourless Chocolate Cake for the third. While waiting we were brought some bread along with trays of peanuts, potato chips and popcorn which was a little unusual but no one complained about free food. I must say that all of my 3 courses were excellent tasting. The Burrata salad had a large serving of the above named cheese with fresh tomatoes, olives and ciabatta bread that was cool in temperature and I could have eaten another serving because it was so good. The pasta bolognese was equally delicious except warm in temperature with the Akaushi beef making a delicious bolognese sauce over the cavatelli. Finally the cake was fresh and full of chocolate flavor with berries and Nutella alongside a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream. This was a perfect finish for what was a fine meal. The outdoor setting was also perfect and one that I wouldn't hesitate to repeat. So why do I only give 4 stars? For some reason not understood by anyone in our party was the fact that this entire experience took us 3 hours from being seated to paying the checks for our 3 course dinners. They didn't appear to be too busy that night so I'm not sure why it took so long. Our group did enjoy our time together and filled it with good conversation but still this dinner should have taken at least 1 hour less. Talking about a slow relaxed pace for dinner....this was a little too slow. I would still be happy to return.

The vibe always gives cozy-meets-classic energy(like what I imagine the Gryffindor Common Room would feel like if it had a full bar, vintage chandeliers, and a DJ that NEVER misses!) I wish I remembered his name, but he's been a regular for a while and knows exactly how to read the room. The set usually starts slow and gets progressively better, so by 11 PM, the place is packed. But if you get there earlier, you can grab one of the plush couches, which I love. In this age of "section culture," it's refreshing to find a spot where you can sit comfortably without paying a premium. The bartenders are another reason I keep coming back. Even when it's busy, they're attentive, friendly, and quick with orders. It's rare to find a place serving well-crafted cocktails under $15 in downtown, and Dean's manages to keep that energy, especially during happy hour. From the glowing red lighting to the vintage mirrors, curated menu, and easygoing crowd, Dean's gives you a lounge vibe without the pretense. Whether you're just stopping in on a spontaneous night out or for a thoughtful date night, it's always a good call.

Whether you're new to cigars or have a favorite blend dialed in, there's plenty to explore. The lounge itself is comfortable and inviting. Good seating, plenty of space, and the kind of atmosphere where it's easy to lose track of time. The staff was welcoming without hovering and happy to answer questions or make recommendations. One thing I always appreciate as someone who's been sober for years is that I never felt out of place ordering a nonalcoholic drink while enjoying a cigar. A great cigar lounge isn't just about what's in your glass, it's about slowing down, having a conversation, and enjoying the moment. Casa de Montecristo gets that. It is across from the Galleria. Randy is the manager and he and his guys will help you make any selections and are extremely knowledgeable about cigars. The walk-in humidor is large, and has a great selection. There is often times live music in the form of a DJ and they have different events that feature certain cigars and drinks and foods that complement the sticks. Or at least give you something to snack on and drink on while you are tasting and enjoying the cigars. You can call the shop or maybe find the information on their website for those events. And there is a VIP room that is open 24 hours a day for members that have lockers where you can keep some things there. They have a few cold drinks, selections, like sodas, and waters near the register. But you can bring your own drinks and you can bring your own food in as well. There is not a bar so it's also BYOB. If you're near the Galleria, I would highly recommend this Location. I believe they have a few others in the Houston area as well.

The parking lot once crowded can be a hassle so next time will park along the side instead of the back, got blocked in and that's wasn't fun but quickly resolved .
