A1 Cigar Bar is everything and then some. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you in…read morethe best way possible. It's the kind of grown‑folks environment where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and feel completely at ease. The vibe is mature, classy, and full of good energy. Let me start with Yaya, because she is truly the heartbeat of the place. Her personality, professionalism, and warm presence elevate the entire experience. She knows how to make guests feel welcomed, seen, and appreciated. Whether she's checking in, making conversation, or keeping the energy flowing, Yaya is the absolute best kind of staff member who makes you want to come back again and again. The DJ keeps the music on point, blending smooth tracks with upbeat hits that match the mood perfectly. When karaoke kicks off, it's a whole vibe, fun, engaging, and full of personality. It's the type of karaoke where people actually enjoy themselves, not just perform. The crowd is grown, respectful, and there to have a good time. The patio area is another highlight. It's spacious, comfortable, and perfect for stepping outside to enjoy the night air without losing the ambiance. Whether you're smoking a cigar, chatting with friends, or just taking a breather, the patio adds a whole extra layer to the experience. Inside, the ambiance is smooth and inviting, with dim lighting, good music, and a mature crowd that knows how to enjoy themselves without the chaos you find in younger spots. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long week or celebrate something special.

Leave your situations at the door. This is the one cigar lounge in Houston you do not want to miss…read more I have been here a few times and the conversations always delight me. The selection is exceptional, the customer service is on point, and the customers are friendly. It's like a neighborhood bar for cigars. No pretension, just like-minded individuals ready to laugh and share a smoke. If you are new, ask for Paul. He will find something you will enjoy, cut it, light it, and check on you in case it goes out. Bring your friends and enjoy a smoke. Pro tip: Stop at Boomtown coffee first and bring your drink with you.

Second time I went, he was yelling and screaming in the back room and it sounded like he was fighting with someone and when he came up front I asked if he had sparkling water and he berated me by saying he's not my personal barista, I started to pack up my belongings to leave and he starts talking as if breaking the fourth wall in some sitcom or something? If the pirate even reads his reviews, I tell you: get better sofas, fix your humidifier, DONT berate customers for asking for drinks, stop yelling and cussing at the top of your lungs, STOP selling dry and cracking cigars and get a class or something on how to behave like a humble, GRATEFUL human being and give thanks to other customers who even consider going to your business, 1/3 of the inventory in your shelf's and they're DRY!!! To any new customers just go to Joseph's or Nice Ash which are both within driving distance. RUDE. DISRESPECTFUL. INCONSIDERATE. I regret giving this "store" my business.

Whether you're new to cigars or have a favorite blend dialed in, there's plenty to explore. The lounge itself is comfortable and inviting. Good seating, plenty of space, and the kind of atmosphere where it's easy to lose track of time. The staff was welcoming without hovering and happy to answer questions or make recommendations. One thing I always appreciate as someone who's been sober for years is that I never felt out of place ordering a nonalcoholic drink while enjoying a cigar. A great cigar lounge isn't just about what's in your glass, it's about slowing down, having a conversation, and enjoying the moment. Casa de Montecristo gets that. I'll absolutely be back the next time work brings me through Houston.

My favorite part was a nice end cap display with their stock of the Cogar Aficionado's top 25 cigars for the 2025 year. Plenty of cool display areas for buying your next new humidor, or an ashtray. I didn't get into the members only lounge, but would be interested. Also, there are plenty of TV's and comfy, plush, leather chairs to relax in while you burn one. My only negative for this location is a lack of a bar to serve a nice scotch or other whiskey while enjoying the smoke. But as this is not my regular location, no complaints.

The vibe was chill and laid back. We are in our late 40s and it was younger crowd but we didn't feel completely out of place. I like the live music. If you're an old head, then the DJ music may not be your speed, but the live music was good. there was a young lady singing with a guitar accompanying her. i'ma pretty hard grader but I would go back.. the wings were $12 for the special six wings and fries . it was pretty reasonably priced in my opinion. They did get service right shout out to the server who served us their name was El. Because of the service and the lady who was singing (she started around 9) I give the place 7 out of 10. They will be the reason I come back and tell people abt it.. We were dressed casually I had on fitted jeans and out the off shoulder top and wedges. Hubby had on a white button shirt black jeans, fila's casual shoes and he had on his hat.. Parking could use work. We did park in front of a bagel shop that was closed and it wasn't an issue

The bartenders are friendly and quick with a strong pour. It was too crowded for me as it was hard to walk from one side to the other. I do appreciate the security yet the lines for the bathroom were annoying as they're are only 2. The dj was cool kept the vibe going all night. Decent pricing for drinks and Decent hookah for the city at $25. If I come back I'll be sure to use the bathroom ahead of time to avoid the line and obnoxious knocks on the door and arrive early to avoid being seated in the walkway.
