Good selection. A little pricey not paced. One TV plenty of ventilation. Ok service. Nice furniture

This place is THE place to visit if you've been looking for a down to earth spot to enjoy a cigar. Unassuming, friendly, and comfortable - I can see why they say they're your second den. Stopped by to check it out and Doug immediately made me feel right at home. Nice solid selection in the humidor and the prices were good as well. But what you're really coming here for is to get away from the world outside the door. And in that respect, this place delivers!

First time here. This place makes you feel Right at home. I love the air filter & cleaners set up inside the ceilings. You can smell the air being cleaned as I am not a smoker & was attending here with my husband. The people are friendly & welcoming. The seats are recliner leather. You see the wood floors with that antique appearance. It's clean & I just felt at home while we sat & enjoyed conversation with the owner & drank some coffee!

Very comfy seats...

The place is comfy and cozy if you wanna relax and enjoy a stick. The staff was friendly and the selection was reasonably priced. The downside is they close at 8pm and they don't play music. Worth stopping by if your in the Heights.

If you're in the area you need to check out this cigar lounge. Very down to earth owner, quaint little spot. Smoked an Undercrown Sun Grown Toro. Plenty of seating, accessories, selection of cigars.

My purchase from the day.

It's been several years since I've been to the Heights Cigar Lounge. Nestled in Houston Heights District, it has become a staple of the community for ten years. You walk into a nice sized public smoke lounge and are immediately hit with that sweet smell of cigar smoke but watch your step. There is about an inch difference just after you walk in the door, most people who are new to the shop will slightly stumble. Walking further on you are greeted just before walking into the nice sized walk in humidor that has something for everyone by all the big cigar makers. Not sure what you to get, just ask for suggestions. The friendly staff will work with what you have smoked and help you grow you palate with some helpful suggestions. When your done, grab up a spot on one of their comfortable leather chairs or sofas and light up. It's a great place to have a smoke alone or with a few friends. So take that hour for yourself and stop in to the Heights Cigar Lounge.

On my recent trip to Houston!…read more When I was searching for dowtown bars and dancing, Behind Closed Doors popped up. It looked dark, clubbish, and fun (exactly what I was looking for) and I couldn't wait to come here. After a 25 minute Uber ride we were downtown and walking to our destination. At first we could not find it but thankfully a nice gentlemen showed us where it was. Upon walking in, darkness with these bright lights paved our way. We sat down at the bar, but realized dancing did not start until 10pm. The bartender came over and said to us "we have a speakasy behind door #3" we were like WHAT! Let's go. So, we walked down the dark hallway and pushed open door #3 (hence the name) to find this super cool speakeasy bar. Dim lights, really modern decor, comfy suede chairs and best of all, some really great cocktails. If you are ever in Downtown Houston, I highly recommend you coming here. I promise you will have the best time. We did not stay for dancing.

The drinks were solid, and the overall atmosphere was definitely a vibe. We went on a Saturday evening, so it was pretty crowded, but once we found our spot in the Gold Room, we stayed there most of the night. Great music, great energy, and a unique concept. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different for a night out. Not sure how it took me this long to stumble in here. Parking is what it is downtown so, there's that.

I'm a Tiki Geek so any chance I have to hit a new (for me) tiki bar and down a delicious tropical cocktail, I jump on it. The bar is located in a very unassuming location within a tiny little strip of businesses in the suburbs of northern Houston. Signage outside isn't obvious but once you step inside, you're transported to a little slice of paradise. Service was fantastic...the bartender (Jonathan) was very helpful guiding me towards what to try and gave me some Lei Low swag, too. The fellow seated at the bar next to me turned out to be the owner, Russell Thoede, who was very nice and we engaged in a nice chat about California tiki bars many of which he has visited. The drinks I had were fantastic; Donn's Original Zombie ($18) and Ground Control ($17) and stack right up there with the best we have here in California. Love the different tiki mugs for the different drinks. Thank you, Russell and Jonathan, for such a great experience! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

One night, we saw they had a great happy hour and decided to walk on over from the house. We ordered drinks off the happy hour menu although their seasonal drink menu (ask for it) was super tempting! The staff was very friendly and were happy to make suggestions or answer questions. As we sipped on our cocktails, we played pool and darts (bring quarters for the pool table). We played for awhile and then decided to order a burger off the happy hour menu (and it came with tots). We were able to select whichever burger we wanted which was really nice. Soon, we ordered another round of drinks but all switched up what we ordered to try something new. These drinks were great as well! This bar is more of a fun after work hangout or a place to just unwind rather than a classy date night establishment but all in all, we really liked it! Would happily go back!

I did want a cup of water, which would be nice if they offered that at the start just to help & remind everyone to drink water to hydrate in the mix of all the alcohol. Drink: 4/5 Big Moe: it was a combination of sweet and tart but would get it again. Ambiance: 5/5 Relaxed and welcoming, just a nice laid back spot to come hang with friends for a nightcap or to kick off the festivities. You'll find yourself having a good time regardless.

The vibes of WA were totally on. The outdoor area is shared space with the beer bar across the way, and they really created a nice space with multiple seating types and televisions. Inside the actual Annex there was standard bar seating as well as a few long tables. I really liked the decor - the bottles of liquor along the back of the bar created a nice focal point, and the low lighting combined with wood tones really set the tone. They have a vast selection of cocktails separated by flavors (smoky, sweet, tropical, etc.). We ultimately had three rounds and all of the drinks were quite good.
