If I could give negative stars I would, the yellow toothed bald pirate with the beard to match who can't be asked a question or said hello to without getting a condescending reply is just intolerable, been there twice, first cigar I bought cracked all over, he would not replace it. Second time I went, he was yelling and screaming in the back room and it sounded like he was fighting with someone and when he came up front I asked if he had sparkling water and he berated me by saying he's not my personal barista, I started to pack up my belongings to leave and he starts talking as if breaking the fourth wall in some sitcom or something? If the pirate even reads his reviews, I tell you: get better sofas, fix your humidifier, DONT berate customers for asking for drinks, stop yelling and cussing at the top of your lungs, STOP selling dry and cracking cigars and get a class or something on how to behave like a humble, GRATEFUL human being and give thanks to other customers who even consider going to your business, 1/3 of the inventory in your shelf's and they're DRY!!! This establishment has a lived in feel, the thing you want when you want to relax and smoke a good cigar. The sofas and lounge chairs are leather soft and comfortable. They have a nice selection of cigars and they are not overpriced. One thing I noted that I think makes a difference to new smokers. Is they identify the strength of the cigar mild, medium or full body. If you are serious Smoker and want to have a locker they do rent lockers in the price is $300 per year. Humberto told me that they instituted a new rule this year that a person must purchase 52 Cigars per year. They also sell pipes, cigar cutters, and lighters. They do not sell alcohol nor are you allowed to keep alcohol in your locker if you decide to purchase one. I have to say, this place has a lived in feel! The wood floors counter in furniture add to the oral field and character of the place. Reminds me of Cuba except here there's air conditioning and ceiling fans. They have those in Cuba. I was trying to come up with the the feeling here that the owners are trying to create an I believe that word is community. Cigar Smoker if they're not doing it as a fad or a different breed, we like to enjoy our hobby our passion for Cigars wanting to know where the filler is from the binder and the wrapper. The blending of the different tobacco's from different regions and countries married to create a unique taste and flavor. This is a nice little duck off, they have a nice selection with comparable prices to any other cigar spot. The custom service is nice and the atmosphere appears to be laid back. You can smell the air being cleaned as I am not a smoker & was attending here with my husband. The people are friendly & welcoming. The seats are recliner leather. Walking further on you are greeted just before walking into the nice sized walk in humidor that has something for everyone by all the big cigar makers. I would smoke here every day. Out of all the cigar stores in Houston Area, there's only one or two that might be a close second in my mind to sit and enjoy a cigar. Paul and his shop is accommodating and a pleasure to visit. Plenty of chairs which are nice & extra chairs when it gets crowded. Bathrooms are usually neat and wide enough for the handicap. The Humidor has a few blends for pipe smokers and there a few small selection of pipes but it's very limited - only come here for a pipe nicotine FIX not to buy Pipes or Pipe Tobacco products... although he does have 1Q so thats a staple for many. CIGARS; decent selection although there's more cigars I don't smoke in his humidor but that's because of my personal tastes vs his average customer. Paul knows what moves and what the people want and he tries to keep those things in stock. Think Eggs, Potatoes, Steak & Salad... don't think any sticks out of the main staple - although in the recent last couple years he's got some high end sticks for the holidays as opposed to the normal selection of nicer sticks. read more

I walked in and the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed. I see people on laptops, people mingling, really nice. I walked up to the counter and told them what I was looking for. Extremely helpful and friendly staff helped me find the cherry tobacco I was sent for. They had a great selection, great location and great staff. Will be back! read more

Great cigar shop inside of the loop, right next to Boomtown. I love to grab a cup of coffee, some water and head on in (they do not have purchasable drinks here, but it would be great if they did). The staff is very knowledgeable, and always suggests a great cigar - per your taste. There is always seating, the couches are easy to fall asleep in. I stopped in here to stock up before a trip to Ambergris Caye. I am glad I did. They had a big selection without being overwhelming. The place was really laid back. It was refreshing not to have the snootiness that you sometimes find in cigar stores. I really felt like the guy working there was trying to help as opposed to make me feel stupid for not knowing everything there is to know about cigars. He was super passionate about cigars, and truly seemed excited about them. It made the experience fun. While in Belize I smoked one of their cigars every day and I did not have a bad one. This place is super legit. If you like cigars & like hanging out, watch tv, do some work, talk to the locals or sit in a reclining chair & jam some tunes then this place is for you. Facility is nice & comfortable, A/C always on blast! Gotta love it. Parking is pretty simple. Either in the street or there is a lot adjacent to the facility. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable. If you have any questions about their selection they are always there to answer whatever question you may have. They will even give some of there recommendations if you don't know what to smoke. They even have a rewards program, so make sure to sign up. Buy cigars earn points (duh I know). The humidor room is a good size. Many different cigars to choose from. Ive been on an infusion style cigar lately. Acid kuba kuba is probably my favorite infused cigar. Unfortunately acid is not found at this place, but they've got some java stuff that super legit too.
