Called them on a main leak. They were there when they said they would be there and fixed the leak and provided information I needed.

My go-to every time is the chicken piccata: perfectly cooked, bright, and full of flavor. It never disappoints. Don't sleep on their pizza either. It's seriously good and easily holds its own next to the classic Italian dishes. Add in a beautiful atmosphere that feels both inviting and polished, and you've got a spot that works for date night, family dinners, or just treating yourself. Consistently solid food, great vibes, and absolutely worth the visit.

I'm a longtime customer of Z Bardhi's in Tallahassee -- I've dined there 6-7 times, and I once hosted a group of 10 there. I genuinely believe in supporting local restaurants, especially after sticking with them through the challenges of the last several years. That's why this experience hurts to write about. I placed a to-go order recently, and what I received was shockingly poor. Had I been eating in the restaurant, I would have sent it back immediately. The Caprese Salad ($16) was listed as sliced tomatoes topped with buffalo mozzarella, basil, and balsamic vinaigrette over mixed greens. Instead, I received four thin tomato slices, four flat, uninspiring pieces of supermarket-style mozzarella totaling less than two inches, and one singular small piece of wilted lettuce. That's it. For sixteen dollars. The Caesar salad was equally minuscule and underwhelming. The large pizza with sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers (with the $2 per topping upcharge) was also disappointing -- most of the pie had almost no green peppers, and the sausage and mushrooms were scattered so sparsely that entire sections were bare. I understand restaurants can have off nights, but this wasn't an off night. This was a clear lack of care and portion control coming out of the kitchen. When loyal customers are consistently shorted on ingredients and charged premium prices for what feels like bare-minimum effort, it doesn't just disappoint -- it breaks trust. Z Bardhi's, I hope management sees this and takes it seriously. I want to keep supporting you, but experiences like this make it very difficult. If this level of effort continues, many of us who have been regulars will have no choice but to take our business elsewhere. We have options, and loyalty has to go both ways. In Spanish, there's an expression that says "que te cayó como anillo al dedo." This literally…read moretranslates to "[it] fell like a ring to the finger," and idiomatically it means that "it came at the perfect time." That right there is how I feel about Jim. I'll explain. I had bought a property in December, and in January, I found myself repairing the house. As I was reviewing what needed repairs, I found out that I did not have a mailbox key. I called my realtor and she had no luck contacting the seller's realtor, so she suggested I go to the post office. I did just that and they told me to hire a locksmith. At any rate, in all this, my realtor recommended a locksmith to me, but they happened to be closed that day. If you know me, then you know I have no patience and that I want things done ASAP. Also, I hate leaving for tomorrow what can be done today. And well, the issue in all this is this happened on a day that some people have off as a holiday: Martin Luther King Jr. Day. So, here I was on a day I had off, hoping and praying to find someone open, so I could cross this off my to-do list and feel productive and I Googled and Yelped and found Jim. Jim was extremely responsive, reasonably priced, and he changed the lock on that mailbox so quickly that it left me speechless. His professionalism is unparalleled and I'm not the only one that noticed. Neighbors were already getting his card as they also have mailbox key issues, and here we are, months later, and I'm hoping they hired him. As for me, if I had not had someone else do my house keys, I'd have hired him. Apparently aside from those, and mailbox keys, he does car keys, and I had hoped to hire him to make a copy of my car key, as I only had one, but alas... I wound up getting a new car instead. Still, anything key-related, Jim is your go-to. Also, he speaks a bit of español, so that's a win in my book. This isn't Miami where I was born and raised, so finding someone who appreciates my background always brightens up my day.

Jim responded quickly and let me know when he could arrive first thing the next morning, noting he could arrive sooner if needed. Due to traffic, Jim was delayed a few minutes but kept me posted prior to his arrival. The latch was deemed the issue, and a discount was given because Jim originally thought it was a more expensive issue than it ended up being. I appreciate honest folks, and let Jim know I would be reviewing him for all to see. I hope I will not need one, but if I need a locksmith in the future, HQ Locksmith will be the company I call first.

Shop owners went above and beyond with one of my most valued gifts; my daughter. Took her car in for issues that we've been chasing for almost a year (at a different shop). I initially tried to give them a detailed description of all that has been done and luckily they asked to look at it with a 'fresh pair of eyes'. Much to my surprise, given the thousands of dollars I've already poured into this car, they FIXED it! Diagnostic took longer than the fix. This job required skilled and patient professionals, which is exactly what we got when we walked into this shop. Communicated with me every step of the way. Unfortunately, I handed them a half broken key fob, which I forgot to tell them. As expected it broke after a test drive. When they called to notify me of what happened, I apologized profusely as it was MY fault. Now some of you may think, oh well, the key broke while in their possession, so it's their responsibility to fix it. I couldn't disagree more, however, they still took it upon themselves to get me a new key. Their rationale - I didn't need the added headache after all the trouble this car had already caused. I didn't think it was possible, there are still some businesses out there with integrity. I wouldn't trust any other mechanic to ensure my daughter is in a safe and functional vehicle.

Shortly after purchasing the car, I took it in for a tire rotation and found out the rear tires were severely low. That created a serious safety risk, especially in wet conditions. The dealership eventually reimbursed me for replacing the tires, but this should have been caught before the car was ever sold as certified. Not even two months later, my rear brake pads/rotors had to be replaced. Then, during a routine recall inspection at Hyundai, I was sent video evidence showing the cabin air filter in terrible condition. It was black, full of debris and leaves, and showed evidence of rodent damage. Based on the condition of the filter, it did not appear to have been properly replaced or inspected before the car was sold. I had been feeling sick and nauseous while driving, and later realized I may have been breathing contaminated air without knowing it. Cleaning and addressing that issue cost me around $400. The car also developed a serious overheating issue and began cutting off while I was driving. Hyundai/GEICO documentation showed major undercarriage and cooling-system related repairs, including radiator support, radiator assembly, hoses, coolant, condenser, and A/C service. The estimate was over $4,000 and also noted prior scraping damage. I did not have a collision. This car was sold to me like that. On top of that, Ben Wells repeatedly tried to claim my car was sold "as-is," even though I provided proof that it was a Boulware Certified vehicle. He also agreed to send documentation proving the cabin air filter had been replaced, but never sent it. This has been one issue after another: unsafe tires, brake/rotor repairs, contaminated cabin air, and serious mechanical/undercarriage problems. A certified used vehicle should not be sold like this, and customers should not have to fight just to get honesty and documentation. I am requesting reimbursement for my documented repair, cleaning, diagnostic, and deductible costs. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying a certified used vehicle here without getting an independent inspection first.
