Dr. Shetty is a very caring and concerned physician. But I have noticed lately that the staff is not as efficient as the need to be. They failed to send a reminder two days before and waited until an hour later after m scheduled appointment and then called me to say you have missed our appointment? Dr. Rostogi is ver professional and acurate. But bedside manners. read more

I've been dealing with this place for way too long. It doesn't get any better. The office help is inept for their duties and doctors leave a lot to be desired. I've seen three different doctors and the only one I thought that had interaction with their patients was Dr. Webber but she went on an extended leave of absence. The office personnel don't seem to have a clue and the techs are not very friendly at all. In general the atmosphere is a real downer. The doctor I've been seeing for the last couple of years is more interested in taking text messages, calls, and playing with the computer than he is in paying attention to what the patient has to say. Yesterday I say the doctor after waiting and waiting which is normal for this place. When he got ready to end the visit, he got up walked toward the door and noticed I wasn't very stable on my feet and asked if I was okay and then proceeded down the hallway without hearing my answer. By the time I got to the checkout desk I wasn't feeling well at all. I was very weak and faint feeling and asked if there was someplace I could down right away. The woman behind the desk pointed to her right and I went and sat down while she processed my paperwork. I sat in there for 15-20 minutes leaning on my cane while people were walking all around me but not one person inquired whether I was all right or not. I knew I had to get up and leave but I was still feeling very weak and wobbly. I got the paperwork and asked if the script had been called in to my mail order pharmacy and it had not. I was assured by one of the techs that it would be taken care of before she left. It was not and I told them that I was almost out of the medication and needed it asap. Today I say my PC and when I told him about the treatment I received, he suggested I get a new cardiologist. I got a referral but I am also going to do some research on the local cardiologists to find the best one in my area. read more

I normally do not write reviews but this one I Will. I was diagnosed in 2013 of have aerobic bicuspid valve stenosis mild. I hadn't seen a cardiologist in a while due to insurance switching. I decided to try them out due to the zoc doc reviews. Wait time was quick for me, I saw the doctor and she scheduled for my echo and to monitor my blood pressure. When I got my echo done and she called about my results she goes "everything with your heart is fine, I don't know why they would diagnosed you that" at that point I'm confused because wove seems the different cardiologist and have been diagnosed with it. I then proceeded to say so your saying there's no heart murmur or anything. She says(oh btw I saw Dr.Mohammed) no nothing there's, I mean I can't really see your heart valve but it seems normal and you should be relieved. to shorten this I decided to go to another cardiologist and he then said no there's a murmur and scheduled another echo and if the heart valve can't be seen then I will also do a MRI. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE MISDIAGNOSED. Or maybe it's cause I'm only 23 and she thought I would just go with it!! read more

I was very skeptical about coming to this office because of the reviews but I came since my primary physician referred me to Dr. Rastogi. The wait wasn't bad. The staff was very professional and Dr. Rastogi was great. I liked that the office was very technologically forward. read more

Am sitting here waiting to see the doctor as I write this, where I have been for well over an hour. I luckily only have to come here once a year to get my medicine renewed. I've never waited less than an hour. And then get seen by the doctor for exactly 4 minutes. I've been to both Lanham and Bowie offices and it's the same. Was hoping for a better outcome this time as my regular doctor took a leave of absence but apparently it doesn't matter which one you see. Have been putting off getting a new cardiologist since my issue is quite minor and mercifully only requires a yearly visit but I'm done with this place. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Rao, Sr. for several years and the level of service and attention he provides had deteriorated badly. My condition requires periodic 2-D echocardiograms. With each of the last two 2-D echos, Dr. Rao scheduled the follow up and then forgot to go over the results of the test. I had to remind him both times why I was there. For one appointment I was the first patient of the day and he was 1 hour late with no explanation. I had my annual physical with my PCP recently and he explained more to me about the test results that Dr. Rao ever did as my cardiologist. It is time for him to retire. Getting copies of records from here is next to impossible. There may be some other talented individuals working here perhaps, but good doctors running a bad practice does not equal quality care to patients. My heart care is too important to me to entrust to someone that is not focused. read more

Was sent to this Group by my primary physician for a cardiology work up. Arrived at the office @ 1:30 pm for a 2:00 pm appointment. Being a new patient I like to arrive early to fill out any paperwork. Signed in with the receptionist as instructed, sat down and waited to be called. At five minutes to two I walked up and asked if there was any paperwork I needed to fill out. They took my insurance card and handed me a clipboard. I filled out the paperwork, returned it to the receptionist and sat back down. at 2:30 pm I inquired how much longer it was going to be since I had been there an hour and watched people that arrived after me be taken to the back. I was told they would check. Finally left at 3:45 pm having never seen a doctor and with no explanation as to why I wasn't seen. I understand a doctor's time is valuable but so is mine. My wife is ill and cannot work and me taking time off for nothing is a hardship on my family. I recommend going to see a doctor that cares more about their professional image than this group does. read more

Andy F. is telling the truth. The exact same thing happened to me today at the Bowie office. I have a heart condition that requires me to be under a doctors care. Having not seen a cardiologist in some time (my old provider is in FL) I made an appt to see Dr. Webber. I came in about 12:50 for a 1:00 appt, filled out my paperwork and paid my co-pay. At about 1:30 and seeing people go in that came after me, I inquired about being overlooked. 1:50, I was requesting a refund and headed out of the door. As a new patient, how you start your relationship with me is important. I explained to Dr. Webber as she sat at the front desk shuffling through paper, that it was UNACCEPTABLE to treat new patients this way and I will be issuing a complaint. The office was relatively empty, there was no TV to pass the time, just people coming and going right past me. I wasted a whole day off from work (unpaid) and will have to take another day to see someone else. I think these doctors think they can waste people's time. If you have time to waste, this is the place for you. Lets hope you don't have a heart attack in the sitting area. read more
