My driver, Tia, was there on time to pick me up and drop me off at the airport. I was in Columbia for an army graduation and she not only drove us around on graduation day, but also gave us a mini-tour of Columbia. Tia's rates were reasonable and fair. I couldn't have asked for a better driver and service. Should I ever be in the area again, I will definitely be calling her and referring others to her.

Ben was a pleasant guy when he knew was being paid. He accidentally kept my card. But did call me back use as I had noticed it gone. ESP.. go Uber or Lyft. Ben said he was at the airport and would be coming by soon to drop it off, mind you... Not getting paid. After a few more phone calls to him and 4 hrs. of waiting, he finally brought it to me . During this wait, I was unable to order any food, having a blood sugar thing, I have to eat at particular times of the day, as I had explained to him many times. My husband then put the same address in and was charged only $30??? And, that $30 ride was odd. The driver had her 3 year old kid sitting in the front, no seat belt or anything. Safety definitely wasn't her concern. Then my car had an issue, I had to leave it at Honda, and the driver sped off with my cane still in the car. My hands were full and I didn't notice i didn't have my cane until I reached my steps. Uber wouldn't let me message her? Customer support said it would be another $20 to just inquire about my cane. So, we won't be using Uber again. I actually just downloaded Lyft because of how unhelpful Uber Customer Service was. Drivers really should scan the back of their vehicle with the inside light on to be courteous, especially at night. When no car light comes on when you open a door it certainly is easy to leave something behind with your hands full!

We were picked up by cab #262 at the airport. Instead of being taken to our hotel cab driver took us to go pump gas, despite our protest. He had blood shot eyes and was acting erratic. We immediately asked to get out after he stopped. He would not let us until I opened my door and got out. He proceeded to THROW our bags out and depend we pay him the $7.25 fare he racked up bc He forgot to fill. He then nearly RAN US OVER while we tried to get into the gas station. He called us ever curse word on earth and he threatened us with his "safety piece" and told us he was going to CUT US multiple times. He was clearly under the influence, mentally off, and or criminal. Gas station attendant called the cops, we called the cops. Cabbie ran off before the cops came. I called the cab company to speak to the supervisor, James Brown, who seemed flippant about the complaint. He insisted background checks were complete but funny thing is an easy google search shows multiple arrests.

It was a traffic standstill and it was pouring. No Uber. No Lyft. No one even wanting to talk to me. I knew it would take time after the event to get a ride, but this was over 1.5 hours after the event. Enter Mike of 9 Star Taxi. He was so kind and understanding and willing to work with me to get me back to my hotel.​ What a gem I found in Mike. Nice, concerned people still exist!. And reasonable! I know you were ready to call it a night, yet you got me safely to my hotel. Thank you Mike!!
