We called the hotel and received authorization for the cab to bring us and they would pay for the cab fares. We asked the driver of this cab on October 28th, 2022 at approximately 4:00 -4:30 in the afternoon denied us transportation. He said he needed to call and get authorization to take us. There were 3 cabs 2 vans and one car. The driver of this cab number 168 became very nasty & rude and said he's not taking us anywhere and proceed to take a lady (individual) to their destination. If in CAE I wouldn't recommend this cab company especially this particular cab to anyone. We eventually got our shuttle after waiting for almost 50 min. We tipped the shuttle driver $250.00 for going above and beyond for taking care of us and getting us to the hotel quickly so that we could get our crew rest. We've since spoke to our transportation department to ensure they list this company as a "DO NOT USE" when we arrive at CAE airport. We come in 365 days a year. We're in the airline industry. So your it's loss for being such an unnecessary mean nasty rude human being!!!

My driver, Tia, was there on time to pick me up and drop me off at the airport. I was in Columbia for an army graduation and she not only drove us around on graduation day, but also gave us a mini-tour of Columbia. Tia's rates were reasonable and fair. I couldn't have asked for a better driver and service. Should I ever be in the area again, I will definitely be calling her and referring others to her.

Use google to find taxi cost in your area of use. I wish I had....should have been around 8-10 bucks. The hotel clerk suggested I use him when I called for confirmation of room. Ben was a pleasant guy when he knew was being paid. He accidentally kept my card. But did call me back use as I had noticed it gone. ESP.. go Uber or Lyft. Ben said he was at the airport and would be coming by soon to drop it off, mind you... Not getting paid. After a few more phone calls to him and 4 hrs. of waiting, he finally brought it to me . During this wait, I was unable to order any food, having a blood sugar thing, I have to eat at particular times of the day, as I had explained to him many times. My husband then put the same address in and was charged only $30??? And, that $30 ride was odd. The driver had her 3 year old kid sitting in the front, no seat belt or anything. Safety definitely wasn't her concern. Then my car had an issue, I had to leave it at Honda, and the driver sped off with my cane still in the car. My hands were full and I didn't notice i didn't have my cane until I reached my steps. Uber wouldn't let me message her? Customer support said it would be another $20 to just inquire about my cane. So, we won't be using Uber again. I actually just downloaded Lyft because of how unhelpful Uber Customer Service was. Drivers really should scan the back of their vehicle with the inside light on to be courteous, especially at night. When no car light comes on when you open a door it certainly is easy to leave something behind with your hands full!

It was a traffic standstill and it was pouring. No Uber. No Lyft. No one even wanting to talk to me. I knew it would take time after the event to get a ride, but this was over 1.5 hours after the event. Enter Mike of 9 Star Taxi.
