I had a scheduled pick up with this shuttle service, when I arrived at the airport. It is so much construction, that things looked a lot different from my trip 6 months ago to the same airport. The driver Tony provided excellent customer service. He told me, he would come find me and he did. When we arrived back to the shuttle. I only worked a few days , but it was really laid back. Workers ate friendly. Not too stressful.

I was asked to wait for 30 extra minutes over the 1 hour limit. I agreed in exchange for a refund for the trip back. Shuttle wouldn't leave because they were waiting on a student whos flight arrived at 1:55, who I never agreed to wait for. Currently at 2.5 hours in the airport and no movement. Called customer service and they had no care about the situation. wouldn't even offer a full refund. Unbelievably insensitive and not good customer service. Would have found my own ride back if I had know I would be waiting this long. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about the ColumbiaCharlotte Shuttle. My daughter was arriving in Charlotte to spend the long weekend with her friend in Columbia. Origianally, there was a very short period of time between her landing and the shuttle leaving. Her flight was delayed because of all the flooding where we live so she was to arrive much later. Her driver texted her and said it would be a 4 hour wait after landing. I called and the woman I spoke with explained that there was nothing they could do, they are just coming back from COVID...I understood but wasn't very happy. THEN, I got a call from the woman at CC Shuttle. She told me that one of the drivers who was dropping off passengers would meet up with my daughter and hang with her for a bit so that she wasn't alone in the airport. Then another driver showed up early and took my daughter to Columbia. THANK YOU for taking such good care of my daughter and really going above and beyond! read more

This company is amazing! They helped turn a stressful travel situation into a good experience. I booked a flight for my son to come home for Thanksgiving and when it was time to fly back to school, his flight was delayed. The shuttle employees were so helpful in keeping track of his flight and even offered to hold the last shuttle a little longer for him. When it became clear that he wouldn't make it in time for the last shuttle of the night, I had visions of my son sleeping in the airport and missing a full line-up of classes starting at 8:30 a.m. However, they reached out to let me know they would pick up the cost of an Uber for him and even connected us with an Uber driver available at 1:30 a.m. Wow! I was so impressed, and needless to say, incredibly grateful. My son had a great experience getting to the airport with them, as well. They were punctual, courteous, and organized. This is a good deal, especially if you are travelling alone- the cost of driving and parking in Charlotte would be greater than taking the shuttle. It's also nice to be dropped off in front of the airport rather than dealing wtih the parking/shuttle/etc. And your family gets to use your car while you are gone. It's also nice to be able to chill out, read, and not have to worry about the drive to Charlotte airport, which I have gotten lost going to before, and stressed me out! I think the shuttle system is a great option to take advantage of Charlotte's super low fares. read more

This is definitely the way to get to and from the Charlotte airport from Columbia. So stress free! My sister has taken it many times to and from my house. Also I used them for my Seattle Relatives for a middle of the night run. Since we booked in advance and planned early.... They accommodated us. Thank you for that!!! Now I'm needing them again. I'm so thankful they started this service. Just make sure you plan in advance and they will go out of their way to accommodate! I'll be calling them again soon. My son called him this morning (on speaker) to ask for the meeting location, Joe (the driver) got smart and said "what do you need that for" I intervened and said "because I'm his mother and I am dropping him off" he got highly upset and said I need to "watch my tone" he then proceeded to threaten to not take my son and hung up in my face. Moments later he called my Son's phone back to try to change the narrative as to how i could have addressed him and eluded to me using profanity which was a complete LIE! To make matters worse upon arriving I got out to give my son a hug, your driver walks up to me and says " if you have a problem take it up with him" he is now pointing to a cop sitting in his car across the street. The fact he felt the need to think he could "threaten" me with a cop for the simple fact he "did not like my tone" is repulsive, insulting and disgusting! i am awaiting a response from the company to see how this matter is dealt with! read more

Well I was conducting my work when I received an email from this service. The layout was really awkward so I thought their main message was to check up on whether people still wanted to be in their email list. Since I'm still mad about what happened (a staff member actually contacted me afterwards but she went silent after two Yelp messages), so I decided to send back an email, saying something along the line, I don't want your emails any more after what happened. And oh dear god, this is what Dan, sent me. Please look at the photos I provided here. This is how they do their business. They clearly have this victimization mentality, that someone gave them a bad review, that must mean they try to harm their business. Well, here's a thought, you can try to reach out and improve it, instead of being this ridiculously, petulantly, passive-aggressive. Please folks, see the photos and laugh. Maybe you can make them into a comedy. Well, Dan sent me another one. I just can't believe these people. Not only they don't understand how to conduct customer service, they do not know how to handle PR problem! Dan started out by standing by Jack and doubting my experience and asking me not to use his service again - hah, then in the fourth email he flipped the script, saying, he was trying to understand things and that if they had wronged me, they'd apologize, but then ended with accusing me of making it big by posting things on Yelp? How apologetic. See the contrast in tone between the first and the fourth emails for yourself, what do you think his true intention is? Welcome to the 21st century, where people outside your local town getting info on your business by Yelp. You keep that defensive attitude on with your customers and giving out non-apology apologies and see how many you can attract. Again, I post everything, including my responses. (FYI, Dan: it's customary to put your highest education level in your work email signature among professionals; apparently you thought it was something to make fun of.) Jesus, the level of insanity...Never in my life! From the driver to the owner. And to think, I actually requested to unsubscribe from their emails before this whole chain! I booked a spot on the shuttle coming back from Charlotte to Columbia and had a perfect experience. Brian was my driver, and he was communicative and helpful in the time leading up to me meeting him at the van. Once at the van, I found out that it was just me and one other person returning to Columbia in the shuttle (not sure if this normally happens or if there are more people usually). Brian was a friendly, polite driver and fun to talk with, and I was able to get a lot of work-related reading done in the trip back to Columbia, which I appreciated (as I wouldn't have been able to do that had I rented a car). I imagine the ride back may have been quite a bit longer if we had more passengers, as the shuttle goes to individual homes to drop off (and pick up) passengers. So if you're the last one to get dropped off when there are a lot of people, that might not be ideal. But my experience was fantastic, and I would book it again. It's a great value at $55, especially considering the door-to-door service. read more

I have use this service several times and I must say that in general they have a pretty good service. The reservation generally are easy and no problems, unless you call for service near holidays, then you are pretty much at there mercy. Some drivers speed and are a little reckless( once or twice ) but you get on time and never late that I can guarantee. Then you have the "holidays travel" a whole different experience, 1 -they pack you in a bus, so start adding 50 per kid 20 times 2-3 trips, it is business customers service is not included , the driver did not even get my bag, thank god the kids did that part because he was no where to be found. So have this clear this is not a bad service as long as you know that they will pick you up and drop you when and where they want . read more

Very unprofessional service. My wife's flight was arriving at 1130. I was told (by Angie) the earliest pickup is only possible at 1 pm. After much contemplation, I agreed to book the shuttle as I had no other means. I could have gone myself but I had important work and I thought 1.5 hrs wait is not that bad. Later on the day of the flight, the driver called my wife and said he has another pickup at 1.55 pm, so "make yourself comfortable" at the airport. When I called their phone line, there was a different person (Corey) who simply said shuttle will not leave CLT airport before 2.30 or 2.45 pm and if you would like "I can refund your money" and "it is up to you" to make travel arrangements. I feel this was very unprofessional and irresponsible. I don't think I will ever take this shuttle again. Surely spoiled our afternoon. read more

My daughter traveled from USC to Charlotte Airport the day before Thanksgiving and when she got to the airport noticed her Ray Bans and room key were not in her backpack-last seen on the van. The helpful staff contacted the driver who found the glasses, key and case- they worked hard to arrange to get them back to her on Sunday. Honest, safe, reliable -and they care about people's belongings. So thankful! read more

The service is good, some thing should be change but in general the drivers are polite cordial and always on time. I have never had a problem regarding pick from my address or from the airport. Unfortunately a ex employee is getting people to write nasty reviews, make sure if you have a problem talk to the manager he is very helpful and he will help you out. Reviews can cost a business to fail, so always remember to be truthful and honest. read more

Fall break for USC and I booked a flight from CLT-LAX. Call the day before my flight, and they tell me they can't help me. This is a huge inconvenience, since i booked out of CLT expecting to get a ride. Considering that USC has been here for over 200 years, you would think that they would plan for this time. To be just turned away is just plain unprofessional. They're a mature enough business that they should be able to get their programming and driver scheduling down. I'll certainly be spreading the word to not use them. read more

After trying this service, it has failed me enough times that I don't think that I'll use them again without a major overhaul. Having just moved to Columbia, I have gone back and forth to Charlotte a few times. The main problem is reliability; the drivers have not always been courteous and friendly. Going from Columbia to Charlotte seems to usually work. However, in order to make my flights, I have been forced to leave 8 hrs early and then sit at the airport for a large portion of the day. Going from Charlotte to Columbia has never "just worked." Each time I have been stranded in Charlotte overnight at least twice, costing hundreds of dollars in hotel rooms. Their website claims that "we will cease taking reservations for those with scheduled arrival times later than 11:00pm," but in my experience they have never had anything later than 6:30 PM. Also, forcing riders to reserve by phone is a bad strategy. The phones are often too busy to handle the call volume, requiring several rounds of phone tag to get anything done. There should be a website where you can at least schedule normal rdies. Furthermore, the policy for handling reschedules is poor. There is no option to credit a missed ride to some time that is not in the immediate future. This is true even if you call ahead of time and warn them that you'll miss the ride. Additionally, there is no published schedule. This makes it impossible to plan your flights around this service. I was really hoping for something like Van Galder (http://www.coachusa.com/vangalder/ss.tickets.asp), that runs a Chicago-Madison route and is the epitome of reliability, even in blizzard conditions. This service is more expensive, goes a shorter distance, doesn't seem to be able to go from point A to point B within an 8 hr margin. I really really really wish this was better. Lauren was my driver- she drove very professionally and safely, she picked me up right on time and we had a great conversation. I also thought the price was decent. The shuttle advertises as being flexible and able to accomodate most schedules. When I called they asked me what time my flight is and told me what time they would pick me up. When I told them I was not available, they could not accomodate a different time. That doesn't seem flexible at all. I am sure it is a great experience for someone that can work with their schedule. But anyone with conflicts, don't bother. Just get a flight from columbia. read more

I recently had a followup email from the shuttle service where they apologized for both the inconvenience of my trip and the rudeness of their dispatcher; they also refunded my credit card. This reveals the power of Yelp and just how an honest review might catch the attention of a business (and get them to change problems with their business model). It also shows that the C-C Shuttle service does look into problems and that it cares about making things right for passengers. I appreciate the concern. I should also add that while my experience coming _from_ the Charlotte airport was not a good one, my return to the airport on that trip back in September was very well done; and the drivers on both occasions were nice. If I were to need the service in the future, I would use them for return trips _to_ the airport. read more

I asked for airport to home shuttle service but after we got driving, he said that he would take the people to Lexington before taking me to Irmo. That would have added another hour to my trip so asked if there was somewhere he could drop me such as Broad River Road exit off of I-20. Even though it would have been MUCH more convenient for me and barely an on again/off again exercise for him from I-20, he wouldn't drop me until he was ready to leave I-20 - which was all the way to Highway 1. I had to get someone to pick me up at a stop that was at least twice as far for them when it would have been easy for the driver to drop me at Broad River. (Another passenger also suggested it to him.). That doesn't equate to good service in my opinion. Additionally, the van smelled really bad (like dirty diapers). read more

Terrible, rude service reps. They do not have enough shuttles to cover main hours so they offer service after 10 pm for flights coming into CTL at 7 pm. Should not call themselves main link between CTL and Columbia. I would not recommend this company. read more

Recently used this service-it was a disaster! My driver was late and forgot the car seat for my infant daughter, despite me reminding him and the office the day before. He stopped by Walmart to purchase another; however when he arrived he expected me to install it, in 90+ degree heat, while my 10 month old daughter sat in her stroller. We quickly realized the car seat could not be installed in the van. The van didn't have a latch system, and neither myself or the driver knew how to safety secure it with seat belt straps. It's worth noting that it didn't appear you could install a car seat in this particular van at all-it was an older van with bench seating. The car seat also did not appear to be rear facing; even though I specifically called and asked about this. Worst of all, the driver saw no problem with this. He thought we could put my daughter in the car seat, without being fully restrained! I cannot believe he was willing to risk my daughter's life-and for what? On a positive note, the woman that I spoke to in the main office was very polite and apologized profusely. She quickly issued me a refund. I had use the service one time prior, and did not have any problems. Bottom line- don't use the service if you have a child that requires a car seat!!! read more

I have used this service on several trips to and from Charlotte to Columbia where my daughter lives. This is the first time that I had to call from my airport to them to change a reservation since my flight was 4 hours late to Charlotte. I kept getting bounced around by the airline so I changed the shuttle reservation from pickup at 1:30 to 5:30pm. They changed the time for me but in the interim I got a call from Dana giving me another driver's name and phone number in case I got in earlier than I thought. I so appreciated the thoughtfulness and humanity exhibited by her when I was having a very frustrating day. I recommend this service highly. read more

Very accommodating...I missed my flight and had to switch to a later time last minute and they were very helpful. Once at the airport they make sure to find you and get you on your way. They are very prompt for pickups so don't be late! Overall very impressed with service and customer service.
