I recently had the PRX treatment with Marcia in the Frederick office of CVL. The PRX treatment is a 'no-peel-peel' which is recommended for a total of four weekly applications for optimal results. And that's exactly what Marcia did for me. Every Wednesday for four consecutive weeks Marcia applied the PRX solution and I promise you, it was pleasant and even relaxing. Marcia has a lovely touch so it almost felt like a facial massage instead of a peel. This particular treatment doesn't cause dramatic peeling as you might expect but rather light sloughing over the course of time. My skin was drier than usual but that was simply and easily addressed with a heavier moisturizer. At the end of four weeks my skin had more clarity and radiance than with any other chemical peel I have ever had ..... and I have had many, many chemical treatments over the years. I had vein stripping surgery on the front of my right leg on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025. This photo was taken on the 2nd day after surgery. I am a ballroom dancer and was warned that I could be dealing with some bruising after surgery. There is no bruising! My leg looks perfectly wonderful except for the tiny nicks in the skin needed to remove the vein, shown in the attached photo. The surgery took about 10 minutes, and was virtually painless. Dr. Garth Rosenberg is simply a wonderful physician and I can HIGHLY recommend him! I was referred to Dr. Rosenberg by my aesthetics best friend several years ago. I travelled to the Winchester location from Haymarket. It was an easy (pretty) drive and a nice office location. I met with Dr. Garth Rosenberg and he was so nice to me. I've since visited him 3 times at the Ashburn location which is VERY convenient from my (now) Fairfax home. This review is for Dr. McNeill and the staff at the Bethesda location. I recently returned to the practice many years after having varicose veins removed by a procedure called a microphlebectomy. I returned to have more veins removed in both legs. I had a good experience years ago and I can say the same again. In fact more than good, great. Dr. McNeill is very good at what he does and has a nice "bedside" manner. He is friendly and has a nice nature and I've had absolutely no pain or discomfort. Additionally everyone of his staff (nurses, admin) are extremely nice and helpful. I have not encountered one of his staff with any attitude like you often get in doctor's offices. I'm hoping I won't need more veins removed in the future, but if I do, I will definitely return. I highly recommend this practice. read more

I was referred by my doctor for swelling of ankles and feet, They discovered valves in my leg were not functioning properly, Following two surgeries, one for the upper leg and one for the lower leg, I can totally recommend this office and the VNUS procedure performed. All the people I came in contact with at the Leesburg office were very professional and friendly. I had 2 procedures done by Dr. Rosenberg: the VNUS Closure and then a microphlebectomy. The Closure procedure took about 45mins from the time I walked into the office until the time I left. The microphlebectomy was 30mins. I was able to return to work immediately after both procedures. Only needed to wear a compression stocking for 3 days and I was back to my normal workout routine on the 4th day. I will be going back in June for some treatment of spider veins and eventually some services at their medspa. I highly recommend Dr. Rosenberg and this office. read more

Thank you, Capital Vein and Laser, for going that extra mile to care for me during my recent treatments. From my initial consult in their Lansdowne office, to my phone conversations with staff and Dr. Rosenberg, and finally to three different procedures, I could count on CVL's professionalism, sound medical advice and prompt, courteous customer service. I initially met with the CVL team in November to discuss what, if anything, could be done to treat varicose veins that had become more numerous and symptomatic. I'm a mother to young children and participate in triathlon so my goal, aside from feeling better, was to return to my active lifestyle quickly. Much to my surprise, I learned that I have venous reflux, and that it could be corrected by way of a minimally invasive venous closure procedure, and I could return to exercise within three days. Skeptical as I was, I left the office hopeful, and did more research on my own, only to have other questions come up. I called the office the following week to ask if I could ask a few more questions, and they immediately had Dr. Rosenberg call me back. I was very impressed that the doctor who would be performing my procedures called me directly to dialogue about my concerns! I had my first procedure done in early December (Tuesday), and I would be remiss to say that I was not nervous. The staff and Dr. Rosenberg did an amazing job to put me at ease, and within an hour, the painless procedure was done. I walked out of the office wearing my surgical compression hose, drove myself home and went through the day doing my normal daily activities, minus exercise (I did run pre-procedure). By Friday morning, I was running again and by Saturday, I was back to teaching indoor cycling classes at our local gym. What I find most incredible in all of this is how great my leg felt the night I had the procedure done -- all the heaviness I would feel in my leg when I would run up the stairs in the house was gone! By day 2, my swollen veins had begun to recede and my leg not only looked good, but it felt healthy. So healthy in fact, I began considering having my other leg treated before it got to be as bad as the one I just had done. I went back two months later for a microphlebectomy (to remove a few bulging veins from my treated leg - a 20 minute procedure) and to have my other leg treated with the closure procedure. The results thus far have exceeded my expectations. When I swim/bike/run, my legs have so much power. That 'fresh, rested' feeling that athletes always talk about has been restored.
