Only clinic in Baton Rouge. No choice on the matter. Total monopoly. Should be illegal but they get away with it. This place is a coin toss. It's always full and very difficult to order without any "human" assistance. Becomes upsetting when you arrive before others, yet you are consistently placed behind them in line. Good day farms is so/so. AYO is terrible. Just terrible. Cookies also seem very generic and relies on flashy branding. So/so. My wife is patient here and as a nurse, I was highly interested in the process involved with medical marijuana care. The facility is extremely clean. The staff is very knowledgeable of laws and willing to answer any questions. You have free access to a pharmacist that can advise you on the best product for your condition in order to get the best quality care. read more

I just can't bring myself to spend any more money here. They've done nothing in this state to lower the prices, when the exact same groweries in Mississippi are selling the exact same thing for anywhere from half to 1/4 the price. A 1g GDF vape in Laurel, MS is $30-$35. That exact same vape in Baton Rouge is $100. 7g of GDF flower in Laurel, MS is $40. That exact same flower is $103 in Baton Rouge. An ounce? Don't even get me started. It's $200-$300 for an ounce in BR, and it's often half that price in Mississippi. I'm done with these clowns. They won't see another dime from me until they start working to get these prices lowered. Something's gotta give. It's a racket through and through, and just like everything else in Louisiana the con artists all gotta get their little cut. Something needs to change, but it will never change as long as so many of you people keep showing them how happy you are to spend three to four times the amount as everyone else in the country. I would recommend Capitol Wellness but the medical marijuana in Louisiana is ridiculous. Thinking it's the same old Louisiana politics. It's made to get the principles richer not really to help the patients that need it. Ridiculous that you can get marijuana on the street so much cheaper. When I visited family in MI was able to get five 1 gram pax pods for a $100 (recreational price). Here one half gram pod $70. Since LA doesn't issue a medical marijuana ID they would not tell me the medical marijuana costs there. From what I could gather though the medical patients don't have to pay tax and more products are available to them. They do have a few crazy things though. Recreational edibles are limited to 200 mg a pack. Some as low as $10 a pack. You are not limited to buying one pack a day, can buy up to 1 1/2 ounces edibles at a time. My biggest complaint is the prices are just way too high. Twice that of street prices, I'd like to get my medicine from the pharmacy but it's just not feasible. If prices were lower, I would be a more regular customer. The workers can be a bit slow, perhaps they are all high on edibles but if you order online, you'll be in and out in a few minutes. read more

Profesional polite and helpful. Talk to your physician, have them complete the recommendation form, request an OPEN ORDER! Ask to have your consultation with the pharmacist at Capital Wellness who is most qualified to recommend which product and dose is best for you and your condition! With an OPEN order you can, regardless of the pharmacist recommendation purchase any product or dose including quantity (reasonable) if you go overboard you will be denied! If not an OPEN recommendation you will be limited to specifically what your physician orders. This is usually a lower %/mg of THC or a combination of CBD and THC. The cost of the highest %mg is the same price as the lowest %\mg thus costing you double or triple! You can dose yourself by reducing your intake (number of drops/puffs! You do not have to go to a medical marijuana clinic who charges a fee to write the recommendation. Any physician can write the recommendation at no charge or a regular physician visit that can be covered by your insurance. Educate yourself! Educate you physician! Stop taking the risk of buying off the street and receiving poor quality or worse bud/flower that is possibly laced with other illegal or dangerous substances. The most effective means of smoking Bud/Flower is a bong. The least effective is blunt/joint as the combustion/burning causes the majority of THC to be wasted into the air not your lungs. read more

How does this dispensary have a monopoly on our City when it comes to medical marijuana??????? Over crowded, always. One never knows if they will be there 15 minutes or two hours. Even when you pre-order!! Very slow. It's close location to me, so my drive time isn't bad, but the wait time is poor. I enjoy and recommend the products, though. I bought a $90.00 case of watermelon gummies and this is the only case out of the 50 or 60 I have bought that was rotten and disgusting! I brought it back to the head guy who fills the Scripts, he insinuated that it was my fault!! After I argued with him for one minute and told him the other 50 that I had bought I had zero problems with, but this one that I had a problem with, he could not replace nor fix!! I was livid! The young ladies in the front are so very kind and helpful. I did not want to make a scene! He basically told me it is impossible for one to go bad and I told him I live literally five minutes or less from the wellness center and there is no way that when I got home and put it in the fridge and then three days later opened it and saw what I saw it could've been my fault, no possible way! He continued to tell me that this could NEVER happen!!! I'm out $90.00 and a pack of gummies. Very angry.
