Hey friends! This review is long overdue. I loveeeee this mall so much. I actually used to work…read morehere for a couple months in college lol, that's how I discovered it. The antique mall is the perfect all-day adventure. Coffee shops, sweet treats, dive bars, winery, fencing studios, outdoor adventure park, cosmetic enhancement suites, $5 thrift shops, salon suites, tattoo shops, a huge antique shop and more make this mall a delicacy. There's something for everyone and you can truly spend the entire day here. Some of my favorite shops include More Than Java, Skinsational Scents and Boyd Cru Wines. The mall hosts events often. Check out their website for more details. Parking: there's TWO parking lots. Little Lot and Big Lot. You make a left as you exit Little Lot and go all the way the street to the end. I hope you enjoy!

I have to say, the local businesses here have really impressed me each time I come! I have tried Boyd Cru Wines (delicious!!), More Than Java Cafe (pls get the jerk chicken omelette!), and have peered through Cherie Bridal (looking for a dress soon!). Every experience I have had here has been warm and welcoming. There's a large selection of stores, and they also seem to host a market here on weekends with some more local vendors! For the holidays, they have a cute Christmas setup and a meet Santa station. I also feel everything I've bought here has been fairly priced. I just got some Christmas presents for my mom, including locally made pottery for less than I usually see on Etsy. The food options here are great, and it's a cozy spot for families and couples! Every time I come, I tell myself I'm going to come back more frequently. Just visit. You'll find something you like!

No one should live like that. Chris and his crew stepped in and cleared out all rooms, taking many items for donation and other items to be trashed. They cleared out his kitchen which had so many canned/boxed food items that were expired. Chris even moved items so they weren't a tripping hazard, he pointed out fire hazards too. He did all of this with compassion and understanding, even recommending a company to help with ongoing cleaning/care to avoid my relative's place returning to its unlivable state. He even provided tax documents for donated items. I live out of state and couldn't be there, and Chris communicated with me throughout the process, sending me videos as he progressed. I even got quotes from competitors who weren't as compassionate or affordable. I highly recommend Orion's Attic!! Chris is amazing!!

The store is very eclectic so you have to walk around to every section. They have articles and magazines, to comics, to clothing and furniture, to collectibles of every type. They even have coins and jewelry for sell. If you are tired buying gifts from the big department stores, I am sure you can find something unique, but personal, here. The staff is very friendly and customer service is #1. I thought the prices I saw were reasonable but I am sure they are open to negotiations. If you are in the area, this is definitely a cool place to check out.

This place is HUGE. I don't know how i missed it. Or the giant antique chair that's out front for you to take pictures in. So this is like one of those antique stores where there are boothes everywhere that people rent out and basically sell and the antique store gets a small cut and they pay rent to have a booth there. There must be upwards of 40+ booths/vendors. Probably more. Everything from antique furniture, antique medical stuff, decor, you name it. I ended up getting some gifts for friends and now that I've given the gifts, I can detail them. An agate container that I thought was cool. A broach in the shape of a person (almost art deco style) but decorated in almost a Native American/Latin style. I got a set of beautiful Japanese coasters in a nice container with I believe Iris' on the front. I also got a cute little Canada themed hourglass thing. Just a bunch of random stuff where I saw it, and was like, "oh I could see this person liking this." I can't wait to go back. I spent maybe an hour or so there, but I could have easily spent more time. The people at the front were really helpful opening up glass cases to see certain items though I will say (the amount of keys and cases they have is sort of aggressive) lol. A LOT of stuff is behind lock and key. Great store though. And legit DO NOT know how I missed this.

Quality bookstore!…read more This was the only store in the entire area that had the book I was looking for. I went to 6 other ones including Barnes and noble and this one was the one! Cashier was super helpful and nice even though my book didn't come up in the database. The entire collection in the store seemed super fancy and all hardcover and even the book I need was a lot fancier than the usual copies. It had a slide out hard cover and gold lettering. Didn't seem like the prices were high but they were having a 40% off all literature that day so I got a great deal! Definitely recommend.

Has the entire freakin' world gone Kindle on me since I left the charming city that reads? 25th St was one of those places that initially scared me when I moved to the city from what had been up to that point a sheltered life in West Virginia and Williamstown, Mass. This was urban East Coast livin' in the late 1990s, and it took me a few months to screw up the courage to head down Charles St in search of used books and other delights that midtown B'more could offer. I'm so glad that I did. I am a better, more enlightened person for having done so by visiting unique and wonderful places like the Kelmscott and Royal Books. So go ahead! Live a little! Put your iPhone and Crackberry away for a nanosec' and see what several hundred years of paper, ink, leather, linen, and movable type are capable of producing. Once you open an old book with real Italian marbled paper lining its inside cover - let alone one printed on vellum - you will realize the limits of e-reading and e-mailing. These things have their essential places in the 21st century, but so, too, do rare, used, and artisinal books made from tree pulp and cotton.
