My name is Chameika Brooks and I have been attending Cappella for 9 months now. I am taking voice lessons at the Tacoma location. For those 9 months Brad Waller has been my teacher. We clicked at the very first lesson. He is an Amazing and patient teacher. Not only did he teach me voice, i was learning a lot about the piano as well. Which I have been playing on my own since a kid. I will now be taking voice lessons with my girl Kristy! This woman is Amazing I just love her! Her vibes are so contagious! We are so impressed with Cappella Music Academy. Everyone is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and exceptional at their craft. Everything about the academy is first-class, from the amazing bi-yearly musical performances to the attendance incentive trophies. Our two daughters have been taking piano lessons at Cappella since they opened their doors. They started lessons with Ms. Bennent, before she opened Cappella, and have since moved to the academy. Now they both take piano from Ms. Weller, who they adore. Our youngest recently started taking drum lessons with Ms. Heather and our oldest is hoping to take guitar in the near future. Our daughter is 9 years old and has been interested in playing the piano for many years. We drove by in the fall and noticed this place opened recently and were accepting students. She was really excited to start! A bonus is they are really close to where we live! She's been seeing Amy, really likes her and is picking up things up rather quickly. Amy is kind, patient, encouraging and a beautifully talented pianist who we had the pleasure hearing at the winter recital. The staff is welcoming and professional. We love Ms Heather! My daughter started going there this summer, and when it was time to change her lesson days for the school year the staff was very accommodating to our schedules and she got to stay with Ms Heather. The first day of the new schedule I completely forgot and we ended up running late. The staff and Ms Heather were very patient and understanding and my daughter was able to get the last part of her lesson in. We will be staying here for a long time! read more

I have wanted to take violin lessons for over 20 years. Raising three boys, managing a company, being self-employed and life in general, has never afforded me the time needed to learn. Our son has been going to Capella for drum lessons for a year and a half, we are blown away by how well he has done. Capella is always very nice and accommodating to work with, especially during COVID-19. When we had to go in to quarantine they didn't miss beat and they had us set up for online classes that week. My niece and nephew have excelled so much in their violin and piano lessons that it amazes me and makes me so proud of them, all thanks to their instructors who are truly knowledgeable and skilled for this.
