BEER IS TOO EXPENSIVE - it's a bowling ally for fucks sake. We are in a beer and pizza league. Four player teams. For $20 per person each week we bowl 2 games and get a pitcher (4 people for one pitcher) it also includes a large two topping pizza. We were told no league games on holiday weeks. Then, they decide to bowl anyway the week of Thanksgiving. Our team missed the bowl due to holiday plans. We were told we could come make up the games another day. We go in Sunday, pay our $80 and are told no pizza since it's a make up day. THIS IS SUCH BULLSHIT if you want to piss your loyal customers off then so be it! The new owners have JACKED THE PRICES WAY UP who wants to pay $17 per pitcher and $5 per beer? This is a freaking shitty ass bowling ally struggling for business. No happy hours, food quality has gone down, I'm sure they pay their employees shit for wage but want their loyal customers to over pay while they under deliver? Seriously for our last league night there was ONE employee in the entire place. The "cook" quit the week before and the bartender didn't show up. The new owners need to get their shit together and stop ruining what used to be an awesome place. read more

Great bowling alley in the Dayton area. Guy at the counter was super helpful and friendly. Entire place was clean and staff was walking around cleaning while we were there. They have a bar area with seating and a cozy fireplace area. We ate pizza and some appetizers. Everything came out warm and tasted great. Prices were very reasonable. It's one those bowling spots that is just so down to earth. The employees the general public of people are welcoming and cool. Bowling here is super cheap and make sure you have a good time. They have a full bar and restaurant. Only down fall was they didn't fully value there Groupon. I hate to pay for something and not get it what I paid for. So don't buy a Groupon for Capri or Freeway lanes. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Came to celebrate me Oldest Daughters 7th birthday and was an hour into our game when an elderly group came up behind us and attempted to bully us out of our seats. After paying $40 for "2 unlimited hours" of bowling not even a half hour prior to the incident, I wasn't having it and asked to speak to a manager or owner about the matter as my family had been there first and these people meant absolutely nothing to me or my party. I spent my money as did everyone else. At this point the "owner" comes over to dispute with me about moving and giving in to the elderly party as the lanes were numbered and had individualized tables. As this is going on he realizes that someone is sitting in our lane table and refuses to remove them, but continues to remove myself, my husband and our 4 small children as we attempted to celebrate a BIRTHDAY! As words were exchanged I decided I wouldn't spend another dime at Capri Lanes! We even refused to order lunch after the same owner flipped the script and attempted to give us another version of himself, by attempting to fail miserably at being friendly. Just absolutely disgusting. I've already posted this review several other places. If you want to waste your money, feel free to go to this country fried hell hole. But if your looking to have a great time in a great environment, I suggest you go to Scene 75 where they too have bowling lanes and there's enough space for everyone including the elderly and whomever else fees the need to be a dick! Loved this bowling alley! What a great place.! We came on a Tuesday night during leagues. The front desk guy said we could wait around until 9:15pm and lanes would open up for us armatures. We went to the bar to have a drink. Whoa, was I surprised! This is quite the nicest bowling lanes bar I've EVER seen! The food was okay, nothing fancy, but not bad. We bowled 3 game, and had a blast. Everyone was super nice. I would definately go back next time I'm in the area! read more

The food here is quite good. We usually get the clubhouse sandwich and fries and the portion is huge. Beers are always cold and cheap. Service at the bar is usually OK. Great place to stop by for lunch if you have a little more time than fast food. read more

Capri was very crowded when we arrived on a Friday evening. I'd definately suggest coming earlier than 8:30 or after 9:30 because apparently leagues practice between those times. The outside of this bowling alley is one of the coolest i've seen with an amazing retro sign too. They also have a bar and I believe a restaurant although I haven't tried it I did notice that they advertise a veggie burger...weird,but cool! read more

We love Capri...it's close to our office and they have great food. The restaurant as recently remodeled to the City Pub and it looks great. The staff is super nice. My recommendations are the quesadilla or the taco salad. Dont be fooled by the parking..it may look crowded because of the bowling leagues....but stop by to eat if to are in the area. read more

Awesome bar and lanes. The management and staff are just... sigh... just plain awful. 1st time manager put us between two families with screaming children when there was 50 other open lanes. The terminal was only registering one ball per turn. We asked to be moved. He then argued with me, the obvious reaction to an unhappy customer. We said we were leaving and would call back to speak with a different manager. He apologized, moved us and got us a free pitcher of beer. Just got here for second time. First thing that was said to us, " you can't have that red bull in here. No outside drinks." What a warm and pleasant way to greet a group of people ready to spend a bunch of money. read more

Only one bartender too busy, waited 15 min to order drink and food, ordered season fries got regular, brought them back to bar, bartender knew right away he put in wrong order, said he would put right order in right away but forgot. An hour later went back to bar, bartender saw my face and apologized for forgetting, promised to put irder in right away. 30 min later sent hubby to ask about fries, bartender tells hubby to order new fries because the ones that were returned was half eaten! Told manager abiut incident, manager believed bartender, we never got our fries...never going back! read more

Capri Bowling Lanes have the best hamburger in the city of Dayton. They have a black and blue burger that is out of this world. I don't even like blue cheese! The cook comes out to make sure your food is ok. We originally went there to get some stereotypical "bowling alley" food, you know like a greasy burger. Boy were we surprised. We were going to take my mother in law out for a steak dinner for her birthday. She asked if we could go to Capri instead! I sort of don't want the secret out that it's the best burger in town. Reserved lanes for a church function and very disappointed. Quoted one price at the time of reservation. Arrived to pay deposit and was quoted a completely different price by another manager. Almost $!50.00 difference. Not a Good Thing! Steve the manager was extremely rude and not very customer service friendly. The kitchen staff needs to be fired for even remotely cooking pizza's that were burned beyond recognition and having the audacity to serve them. Problems with the lanes in which the time and games we paid for we were unable to get. Sad that to order things underage kids have to go inside the bar where liquor is consumed and served to place an order for food and beverage. Asked to speak to a manger and here we are 3 days later and I'm still waiting!!! read more
