Since this was a more reserved crowd and close family we weren't looking for a bunch of bells and whistles. I dropped in to view the site the day before and it was beautiful, no alterations required. Now let's talk about execution, the appetizers and meal were delicious. However, the staff seemed put out if we asked for anything such as more water, more lemonade etc. We were told we didn't pay for extra lemonade. I mention this area because it can be addressed in the planning process. Get every potential deviation or turn from the norm addressed so you don't have to ask on that day. This was an informal gathering of close family, but the reaction would be different if it were a wedding. They ran out of drinking water and I asked for more they only had two small bottles left. The staff said she had to go out to get more. It was 10pm so told her that's ok. Then asked to have more in the morning. They still didn't have it in morning so I said that's ok and left. Lisa later that they left me a long message saying how she traveled the world and always knew what she needed. That it was my fault for not knowing. She then continued to say that her staff went above and beyond. I told her above and beyond is already having water and getting more of it before telling someone that they don't have it. I was charged $50 for alleged "damaged" linen, but the stain shown to me was from red soda -- something that can be removed. The photo they provided did not show permanent damage, yet I was still charged. To make matters worse, the pool was shut off early while I was still in it, and chlorine got into my eyes, causing irritation and discomfort. That situation was handled very poorly and felt unsafe.
