This place should be on all locals list to check out. The vibe is very chill. We have stopped by when it's been busy and they've had live music and also when it's been on the quiet side like today. Every time the service has been superb and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I only wish they were a little closer to home since they are located in Hampton but don't let that stop you. It's not a bad ride.

I ordered the G.O.A.T. burger which revved up all my tastebuds. The blueberry jalapeno BBQ sauce on the burger combined with goat cheese was a great balance between sweet, tangy and spicey. The fried jalapeno and bacon added some extra spice, crunch and saltiness. This burger is righteous. To wash down my burger and fries I selected the red ale, which is balanced and not hoppy tasting. I am a big fan of red ale if you are not a fan of overly hoppy beer.

My sides were then brought out and the Girl Sprouts were great but the Mashed Potatoes definitely needed some salt. I was then served a Crab Cake Sandwich, which I didn't order, so I had to wait another 10 mins for my Crab Cakes, which came out a little burnt. Overall, I wish I can say I had a better experience. We also had to wait quite a while for our server to bring over some waters. She was very nice but just kept forgetting. Can't speak on the ciders as I don't drink them but friends who I have come with enjoy them a lot. Not too much seating inside but the main attraction is their huge lawn outside. Picnic tables and even a fire pit are in the lawn area. There is also a covered area to one side as well. Food trucks and other events happen weekly. Friendly staff and a great place for groups to meet-up! Only downside is that they only have two bathrooms!

My selection was the Tavern Monte Cristo which consisted of chargrilled chicken and ham as the protein with Gouda cheese and cider aioli fried in a tempura batter with tavern fries. The meal was served hot and ready and tasted great. And having the cranberry coulis as a dipping sauce really added some taste. My only gripe with the sandwich was the amount of protein. I'm not sure if I ate most of it when we dined in, but when I ate the rest for dinner, it was more breading than anything else. Still good but they could've included more. Nonetheless, I was full. Good stuff as always from Park Lane Tavern :)
