Love potion Valentine's Day drink special
    Heather M.

It took quite a while for somebody to greet us once we sit at the bar, which kind of was a turn off The bartender was very polite, but definitely overwhelmed. It seemed it took a while for her to get just a couple of drinks to us and I ordered the specialty Valentines drink and the cup was not even full and I thought it would've been a little bit prettier from the description. It tasted OK kind of like strawberry milk they have a lot of specials throughout the week and the menu looks pretty plentiful. Will come back and try the food.

Very good! My group and I (a party of 8) stumbled upon this restaurant the Friday before Christmas. We had intentions of dining in another spot, but it was a bit sketchy so we made a U-turn and walked out. Only a few steps away... Pour Girls! A few ladies in the group mentioned hearing about this restaurant and thought let's give them a shot sense what they heard were good things! We walked in at a good time, no wait for a party of 8! The waitress, Aleena, Alaina (a fairly young girl, small in statue) something along those lines seated us right away. Well I think we kinda seated ourselves and she offered to pull up a few more chairs to accompany our party count. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, this place is really nice! For it to be everyone's first time, it was an awesome experience for us all![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We didn't have many complaints. A guest or two weren't too satisfied with their food and drinks, but overall, I was pleased as well as my husband and I suggest you check this place out. Definitely peep their happy hour, this would be something ideal for first timers. My drinks were 50/50. I recommend the regular Old Fashioned. The smokey one has an acquired taste... which you already know, but the one here hmmm nah, I prefer their regular. Now my tuna bites, so delicious 10/10! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is inviting and definitely fit right up our alley. Definitely a group atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. But I did notice bar guests as well as larger parties heading upstairs and smaller parties dining in. Seems fitting for any size party. Check them out if you are in the area. Parking may be a hiccup right now because the main street the restaurant is located on is in a construction phase. Luckily, we found street parking within walking distance from the restaurant. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Pour Girls is one of favorite places to go. The service and food is so consistent! We love this spot, always many things to do during the week as well!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great, quick brunch spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend loves the shrimp wrap. This visit, I tried the crab cake sandwich-- it was just okay to me. I am a big seafood lover, the crab cake tasted like it had a hint of Italian dressing. In the past, I've enjoyed the steak and eggs as well as the shrimp wrap. The mimosas are always very well worth it. The service is always great, the staff is welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, their outdoor seating has grown and is modern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The indoor seating has two nook-like areas and is spacious, it also has an upstairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place also serves brunch in addition to being a restaurant and bar. And the brunch is pretty good. Our server was also very nice!

Nah I visited because... I don't know. I guess I love the adorable name. Well, customer service was awesome. We were assisted by Shelby M. We arrived shortly after they opened this morning. We collectively ordered pancakes, catfish, eggs, and breakfast potatoes. Pancakes were ok. Hubby's were ok. Son's pancakes were a little burnt. Catfish was greasy but had good breading and flavor. Eggs weren't real eggs and were rubbery. Breakfast potatoes were the worst. They were cubed but not cooked all the way through. I asked for them to be cooked w onions, and I rec'd Potatoes w onions on top. Thank goodness for Shelby and her pleasantries. Sadly, we're not returning.

Stopped by for a quick bite. I ordered the Brussels sprouts, but they were bitter and undercooked, so I had to send them back. Our server was super sweet and attentive. I went with a Philly cheesesteak, while my husband had the grilled chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce. Our friends ordered nachos, and we enjoyed a few beers. Overall, I had a great time! Next trip will be for their brunch.

Service was fantastic and efficient! We were constantly being checked on if we had enough drinks, water, and coffee. Waitress was super friendly and helpful with the menu in making decisions. There was construction going on their road so it was closed down & had to park and walk to find it (it was my first time going here). Pretty easy to find. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the inside it was clean and well kept.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Came here with a group of girls for galentines brunch and it was worth it. Def will be back again! Food was fantastic as well!

Heard of this place several years ago as a good brunch spot and finally made it there for dinner. It's right between Marker 20 and Brown Chicken Brown Cow, in that little dining block of E. Queens Way that also holds Venture and Fika Coffeehouse. They're open on Mondays, which is a plus. We had a party of 8 on a Monday night, which turned out to be a good night to go, as we were the only party there between 6 and 7. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. I was wowed by the food. On paper, it was pretty standard fare, but the execution was perfection. The only other place I've had fried broccoli is Kente's, and Pour Girls' is just as good. The wasabi complemented the blackened tuna sandwich wonderfully, the bun was soft, and the fries...they're like steak fries, but not mushy, just the right amount of crisp and well seasoned. I pretty much made my meal off of the fries and saved my sandwich for lunch the next day. There were two drinks that interested me. I tried the Orange Blossom because I love St. Elder. I was expecting a cutesy little wine glass, but I got a regular drink cup full. My cousin said the mango crush was good as well. Mom had the steak and cheese, which I expected to be just ok, but when I tasted just a small bite of the meat, it was way more tender and flavorful than I expected. 10's across the board. Looking forward to trying their brunch.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, as it's quite popular in the area for brunch. I never had the chance before because there was always a very long wait. However, this Sunday I finally got to experience the restaurant. I have no complaints: the food was good, the drinks were good, and the staff was attentive. I would definitely come back again. I also appreciate the variety of seating options--downstairs, upstairs, and outside. The location is great too, with always something going on in the area. The only downside is the parking, but that's to be expected if you're familiar with the area. However, there's a parking garage within walking distance.

My mom and I love downtown for dinner/drinks. We finally tried Pour Girls for the first time last Tuesday July 29. It was eh service. Didn't catch her name, blonde. Took awhile. Forgot our drink orders and tempura broccoli. It was not busy at all. Food was amazing though from tempura broccoli, tacos, bang bang shrimp steak bites, wings and tuna bites. We decided to do dinner last night for taco Tuesday before the special ended. Our server, Alonni W, was AMAZING. When we walked in she had every table inside, had all the parties outside running around like a chicken with her head cut off! I can't speak for the other girls in there who seemed to give her a hard time or just poked around with no tables.. no tables at all. I don't blame bartender as she had a full bar and looked very attentive to the bar goers. As a server of 10 years and now a cook of 5 years.. I'd never allow ONE server to pick up so much with no help! But HER attentiveness was spot on with us, the tables around us and the parties outside. She got us everything we needed from the extra sour creams to my insane amount of lemons! All in a timely manner. She had great banter with us and was very sweet. I surely hope she left last night the breadwinner as she deserved it. I am a big foodie. My mom enjoys when we get to try new places and if I really, really, really love it enough.. I'll give a review. Pour Girls was amazing from the food to Alonni Ws service. 5 stars for the food and Alonni. Now for the server from first experience and the ladies around Alonni... so not impressed. My mom and I will DEFINITELY be back. But for scrabble Wednesdays and oyster Thursdays next! Photos are from first visit and second visit.

We stopped in for some lunch to watch the Michigan game, they have a full bar and several tvs. The food was absolutely delicious. Boyfriend loved the clams. The mixed drinks were well made and tasty and the service was great. We have been here a few times and I'd say this was the best experience. You can get the sports bar feel or family dinner feel upstairs. It is nice to be able to go for different occasions.

I was told that if I were to leave the stroller in the car and hold/carry her, it would be a 50 minute wait for "two." I opted to go online and make a "reservation" for two and I would put the stroller in the car and hold my daughter for a reservation time of 1:00 pm (only a 30 minute wait). Why do I need to go online while standing in the restaurant to make a quicker "reservation" when I'm standing right in front of the hostess? When checking in for the 1:00 pm reservation, the hostess asked if I was going to hold my daughter or if I wanted a high chair for her. This made no sense as the entire point of me holding her was because I needed a "table for 2." If I was going to be offered a high chair for a baby that can't even sit up yet, I should've been able to keep her asleep in the stroller and still been a table for 2. How is a high chair at that point not considered a third? Her stroller wouldn't have taken up any more room. The whole experience was absurd, made absolutely no sense and was off putting. There has to be better processes in place. Adding that it is 96 degrees outside, so going back and forth with an infant was absolutely ridiculous.

I asked the waitress about it and she said different cooks make them different ways so I ordered toast. I have had their biscuits many times before and they were delicious. I ordered chicken wings, and when they were served, I noticed visible blood on the bone and meat, suggesting they were either undercooked or not properly handled. This raises serious food safety concerns, especially in light of the earlier refrigeration issue. Shortly after eating, I began experiencing stomach discomfort, which made the situation even more alarming. Food safety is a basic expectation when dining out, and this experience fell well below acceptable standards. I hope management takes immediate steps to address both food handling practices and transparency with customers to prevent this from happening again.

Another Yelp Reviewer's suggestion for the win!…read more I happened to be in the area today, and after my first stops, I needed something to eat. Again, thanks to other Yelpers, I found this place. I'm so glad we found it. This place does have a small private parking lot, which is a good thing for the area. The interior was nice, large, and seemed very clean. Plenty of seats inside and a few tables outside. The fella who served us was very nice, pleasant, and took care of us. Now let's get to our meals: Holy mud were they good. The wifey had The Jim Boy. Which is a couple of eggs, a couple of sides, potatoes, and toast. She tells me the whole meal was very good with the potatoes being the flavorful standout. As for me, I had The Lumberjack. Wow was it good. It was smashbrowns topped with 3 eggs your way, fried chicken breast, sausage gravy, and a buttermilk biscuit on the side. Their website pictures were different from how it was presented to me today (not that it means a thing). Again what a wonderful flavor. The biscuits were great and the sausage gravy was fantastic! I will say this it is a very filling meal - you will not be hungry after eating this. So with all this said, I highly recommend this place and I'm sure I will be back. I might even try to hit it for lunch next time. So if you're looking for a place - go ahead and enjoy this place.

I saw when she took it back her and a few other waitresses just looked at the food giggled and looked at the plate. Food came back and the eggs weren't done and the gravy was so salty that it felt like I swallowed ocean water. At this point I was done and didn't even eat it. She or the manager didn't come over to apologize or say anything about it. Service/waitress- horrible Food- Would never recommend this restaurant let alone the food. Not worth the money. Especially for a waitress that just wanted to talk to her co-workers instead of attend to her table. First and last time I'll ever go there. People also said it's not worth it, I should've listened!
