I stopped in for dinner with coworkers while in town, based on a recommendation from our hotel staff. Glad we listened, because this place was far and wide the best meal I've had in Madison. The restaurant is small and quaint, but has both a Midwest & Southern-touch feel to it; they serve American-French fusion cuisine with a hint of creole... Lots of choices from creole-inspired appetizers to salads, steaks, seafood, and pastas. I ordered the Caesar salad and seared halibut, which were both out of this world. For the quality of the food and the level of customer service (our server Samantha was excellent), RoM is very well priced... While it wasn't cheap, this fine meal was worth every penny ($60 w/ tip for dinner). I've been to many restaurants in Madison over the few years I've been coming down here for work, and RoM is unquestionably my favorite of them all...
