We went to Perry Park golf community to visit with friends, which is about 20 miles away from Carrolton off I-71. On our way home the next morning we stopped for breakfast. There were several tables with patrons but a few empty tables so we sat immediately. Waitress was quick to greet us to say she'd be right with us. Good service, she was polite, friendly and efficient. I had country ham, a biscuit and cheese grits. As always grits were served hot and the American cheese slice on top melted easily. A full slice of country ham that was tasty and a good, and a toasted biscuit. My hubby had a sausage, cheese and egg biscuit that he enjoyed. It was clean and a nice, homey atmosphere with families, couples etc. But it was early afternoon, not the late night waffle house crowd that can be fun as well., where we say you can have dinner and a show. read more

What's not to like about Waffle House? I like the Texas Toast cheesesteak with hash browns. I would have provided pictures but it looked so good when it arrived I dove right in. The server was busy but kept up with my table while servers others. read more

The food is amazing you can modify the food to your liking We even got to go cups allowing us to get free refills before we left. We got lost on our way home and we stopped by the waffle House we asked some questions they gave us directions to where we needed to go very friendly staff. Waffle House! Haven't been to one of these places in years but my friend and I went on a trip a weekend ago and actually arranged lodging to be able to wake up and eat at one (which is convenient because in this part of the world they are plentiful!) We arrived early and it wasn't busy. We were provided with menus and water but not crowded to order quickly. It was clean and staff was businesslike. Alicia waited on us - very pleasant and helpful. She checked out some items for us prior to tagging them on our order so we got some "good stuff". Breakfast was solid and I remembered why I always used to come here- and will again- perhaps not at this exact location because it is a bit out of the way for me. read more

The place was dirty, the eggs were not cooked right, the service was lousy. It was a very bad experience, worse Waffle House I have ever been in and in my opinion as dirty as it was and flies flying around I think it should be shut down for health reasons. read more

My friends and I like to go there for some early morning breakfast, like around 2-3am. We have never have good service there, but it's the only place open. After this last visit, we will NOT be going back. I was the D.D, I sat at the bar across from the grill. I watched this guy make out food without gloves and never once washed his hands. If you haven't been here before, let me fill you in, the truly hire 'Carrollton's finest'. After he burnt our bacon 3 times, my boyfriend got his bacon Texas cheesesteak, minus the bacon. I guess he figured he wouldn't notice even though I sat there and watched him make it. And my omelet was way undercooked. My B.F said something to him about how awful the food was, his reply was 'sorry man, it's my last night'. I rudely told him that was a good thing. We just got up and walked out. read more

This is one of the worst Waffle House's I have been too. The parking lot is so tight if you have a truck stay in the lot closets to the entrance. The service wasn't great and the cook that was making the food that day seemed to be a trainee. My wife asked for crispy bacon which came out so rare I didn't even eat it even though I like bacon on the less cooked end. Save yourself the trouble eat some where else. read more

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to the airport to fly home to CA. I was told I HAD to come here! I ordered the All Star breakfast- delicious waffles, eggs, perfectly crispy bacon, great service! Debbie was our server and she never let my iced tea get more than half empty. We just left this Waffle House and will not be back!! The restaurant was empty and we were not greeted. We sat down and our server stood by our table and continued to yell about her personal life to her coworkers. We ordered our drinks and food then we turned around and watched her, after coughing into her hands, no gloves and not washing her hands, pick up meat and the bread and put it on the grill. Then, still with no gloves or washing her hands, she touched lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, bread and hash browns. So, she cross-contaminated most of the prep station just making our order. We told another server what we saw, just to make sure there was a policy about that.. Her response was "you could ask her to remake it." But she did say what we saw was against Waffle House policy. Basically Putting it on us as customers, to enforce a policy that a manager should being dealing with. We got the attention of our server and told her we could not eat the food she was preparing because of the cross contamination we saw and to be frank, it was just disgusting. We said "you may wash your hands, put gloves on and remake it, or we can't eat here." She looked at her coworker and said "do you want free food?" We got up and left. It was the worst experience we have ever had at a Waffle House. Completely disgusting and awful service. We do NOT recommend you go here. read more

Grits verse no good instead of being told they were no food and asking if hash browns were ok they just gave me hash browns then told me after that's why he gave me has browns . It's 10:30pm, the place is packed. It doesn't take a genius to know why everyone was on edge. When we walked in, it appeared that we were not noticed at all. We decided to sit at this row of seats, seen to be as a waiting area, because all unseated tables were covered in dirty dishes. Our suspicions were confirmed when an older woman called out to us and asked if we were waiting on a table. Clearly, we said yes, and she rolled her eyes. The attitude was possibly at her coworkers negligence. After asking us if we were ok to sit at the counter, she cleared the space for us. She then proceeded to make comments towards her coworkers. "Who's turn is it to wait on the people here?" "Do I have to do everything?" We uncomfortably sat as we waited to be served. Being my fiancée's second time at the Waffle House, she mistakenly did not remember that the menu was under her nose. Unfortunately, this made matters worse. After our waitress returned with our drinks, she asked for our order (not even enough time to decide on our food). We informed her that we were not ready, and she shoved the papers into a coworker's hand, who was on the phone, and said, "They're not even ready!" We waited for 10 minutes for her to return, but she showed up in a jacket and promptly went outside to smoke. We felt sorry for this young man who had to take the brunt of the dine-in-customers and this woman who manned the to-go orders. From the conversations around us, most of the orders were done wrong or poorly. I am glad to of been traveling back to Ohio, because I would not be going to another Waffle House again if I had to live near that dump! read more
