I can't believe I've been in NYC for 20+ years and I've never done this sailing before. Although…read moremaybe it's a good thing that I waited this long to do it with Eric who made the experience unbelievable. It was a perfect day for sailing (nice breeze, sunny but not hot, clear skies, and not choppy water). This is definitely an activity that I will come back for. Eric is incredibly knowledgeable about NYC's history and shares it all. His boat is gorgeously kept and is incredibly comfortable and modern with a traditional feel. More importantly you can tell he enjoys what he does, which makes it amazing for those sailing with him. It's also a very relaxing experience. We went out on the 4 hr tour and it went by so incredibly fast! If you have the time I definitely recommend doing the 4 hr as it's the perfect amount of time to enjoy the experience. However, if you don't have the time I very much encourage taking the shorter tour so you can experience a great time. A must-do in NYC!

It was thunderstorming on our originally scheduled sail, and we easily rescheduled our sail time via text. The Captain clearly is passionate about Genesis (his beautiful boat!) and sailing. We had a great time and would recommend for anyone looking for a laid back sail around New York.

He takes just as good of care with his boat as he does with his clients, and is super accommodating. *The boat was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Had a microwave and stove! Lots of space on the table and seating around it. *Location of the boat was VERY CONVENIENT!! Had a parking lot with lots of space and the marina also had ice (great when you have a cooler/in need of ice for drinks). TIP: Captain Steve was really kind in offering to help us with our cooler, and offered to bring a cart/wagon to put the cooler on to make it easier to bring on the walk to where the boat is docked. *Captain Steve: Not only was he informative about the areas, but he was also a pleasure to have a conversation with. My friends and I had a fantastic experience and enjoyed our time sailing and relaxing , and will definitely sail with captain Steve again this summer!

This was our first time to New York and we did a sunset cruise and we were blown away!! The Captain and crew were outstanding and so accommodating and pointed out many landmarks around the harbor.. We got up close to the Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and saw Manhattan lights by night. The weather was perfect and this cruise was the best highlight of our whole trip to New York!! Just want to say thank you again to Captain Scott and the Crew as you two were awesome!! He told me via email that he had changed his plans and was going out with a private lesson instead of taking us out. His policy says that if there is a cancellation due to weather you can't get refunded, you have to reschedule, so he wouldn't give me a refund. I booked him for a trip with friends who were only in town for a weekend and he couldn't fit us in to reschedule during the weekend. I called and left voicemails all day asking him to please call me and he never picked up the phone. Extremely unprofessional, he abused his weather policy to keep my money and also get a private lesson in when it worked for him with no regard for the client.

The cruise itself was very informative about Lake Hopatcong, and the scenery was amazing even though it was cloudy, but you could still see all the beautiful houses that surround Lake. The servers were extremely nice and efficient. They checked on us a couple of times to make sure we were good. All in all, everything was very good. I would definitely recommend this lunch cruise.

The crew was friendly, the boat was comfortable, and we enjoyed beautiful views of the bay. It's a great short cruise, perfect for families or anyone who wants to get on the water without a long commitment. They offer a variety of options including private charters, kids summer fishing camp, open boat fishing, and special themed tours. One of the tours they mentioned is the Great Gatsby tour, which is not always available. The tour guide is a book writer who has written many fiction books and has a great ability to provide interesting details that make the experience much more engaging. Overall, it was a pleasant trip. If you're in the Port Washington area, Angler Fleet is a solid choice for a bay cruise or fishing adventure. We'll definitely consider them again for longer trips or one of their special events.
