Very clean and professional place. I am a first time dispensary client I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't nervous to go inside, but right from security and the check in area I felt very comfortable! Once inside the dispensary I was greeted by knowledgeable and friendly cashiers. I am intimidated by "herb" so I was recommended a oil pen for my anxiety and insomnia. After using the calm pen I felt very relaxed and not "high" which is what I was looking for so the girls definitely recommend the right pen for me. My husband has been coming to Captain Jacks for a few months and this last visit I finally decided to go inside with him and establish my own info. I think I've been here four times and have never done a review. They do have some protocols they follow, have to check in with id. Etc You must buy a special bag they charge you with .50 cents! I've been being mine in and haven't had to buy these bags but today for some weird reason chick named "Yellow"decided to charge me for another bag even though I had mine in my hand and she never bothered to take it when It was in plain sight. I am updating my review because the general manager, Kelly, rectified any issue I originally experienced. Because she realized I was unhappy, she contacted me and listened to my concerns. Then she took action. She requested I return and she would take care of me. Since I don't live nearby, I wasn't sure when I would be available for that, but I'd try. I told her it may be as long as a month before I would be in the area. After a little over a month, when I hadn't stopped by, Kelly called again to follow-up. This I thought was exceptional. I felt terrible it had been so long since we'd last spoke but she was very gracious. I finally had an opportunity to drop in to see her and I cannot say enough complimentary words about Kelly. She more than made up for the unfortunate event and I was really touched by the company's generosity. I felt heard, understood, addressed, and comforted. That is the reason I frequent this type of store in the first place and now they are a fine example of a caring medical clinic. I have already shared my positive experience with my 'hospital' friends and our group will keep spreading the good word about Captain Jack's. They really stand behind their service. First time there today. Got some flower. Driest flower I have ever gotten at any shop. They gave me free flower on top of what I purchased because it was my first time. Place is very nice looking but I'll never go back. I have gone to some of the most run down shops and have gotten amazing flower. This was such a disappointment. I hate wasting money on trash. Sucks that you can't see the flower you're getting until you get it home and there is no refund or exchange. The security is always super nice and welcoming. Karla is always the sweetest when checking me in. All of the bud tenders have been very nice and helpful, I've had especially dope experiences with Quincy, Augie and Daniel (a blonde, shorter girl has helped me too that I really enjoyed talking with but can't remember her name /: ). Everyone is so knowledgeable and very helpful. I usually order online which is convenient to skip the line. & their rewards system is DOPEEE.
