Thank you for a great tour yesterday, Captain Tony! We had such a fun time yesterday. Our tour group was small, just one other couple with us. Tony did a great job searching out manatees, birds and iguana for us to see. He had a ton of knowledge of the species around and all kinds of local Florida info and stories. He learned our names (or wrote them down but nonetheless the effort was there) and had us also help to be on the lookout for wildlife. I'd totally book this tour again so if you're looking for something fun to do in the Keys, book with Sterling's Eco Tours! There's also a sunset cruise but the receptionist told us not as much sea life is seen on that tour. Thank you again, Tony!

Our family took a tour with Capt. Tony' for a 9 a.m. Everglades Eco-Tour in late December. It was well worth it. Capt. Tony is a font of knowledge about Florida's flora and fauna, and about the lore, history and people of the Keys. We were lucky to spot many species of birds, including some up-close sightings, as well as a lucky encounter with a manatee. We learned much about the saltwater Everglades and its mangrove forest. Capt. Tony is an engaging guide -- fun, educational entertainment for our 10-year-old, as well as our teens. A great memory from our Keys vacation.

Amazing experience. Captain Dave was a fountain of knowledge. We really appreciate the wealth of information he shared. It was so amazing!! He kept us out a little past the scheduled 2 hours. He was really well spoken, and all 4 of us highly recommended the tour. Another thing that was great, he told you when to pull your phones out for a photo op rather than being tied to them....great time!

We had Captain Dave and he did an amazing job ! We learned so much and got to see several manatees . It is definitely worth the money and would highly recommend for anyone wanting a boat tour from a local!

The tour with Capt Russ was excellent! We learned so much about the local area, including the surrouding nature as well lots of history past and present. Would highly recommend to anyone. Also really enjoyed seeing manatees up close!

Captain Tony talked for 2 hours straight, we learned a lot and saw a manatee and enjoyed the ride and somehow got talked into licking mangrove leaves. It was a fun activity to do early on our vacation, and helped us to really enjoy the Keys more while we were here.

I really didn't know what to expect but I can honestly say this tour was the absolute best if you're interested in nature, history, and fun. Captain Dave was awesome and super knowledgeable, the rest of the patrons on the tour were very good humored and friendly as well. You sit on these patio-type lounge chairs as the captain tours you around on open waters looking at mangroves and various wild animals. I definitely recommend checking this tour out if you're in the Keys, and definitely bring sunscreen and a hat for the sunny days!

I had an amazing boat ride with Captain Tony! He really seems passionate about providing tourists with valuable information about the area he lives in. He was funny, informative and really made it a pleasurable experience. The boat ride was calm. You can see the mangrove trees, homes of key largo, possibly manatees, Iguanas, some great birds and it was reasonably priced. I was able to make a short notice reservation because I had a previous reservation cancel. It all turned out great. I would definitely go for another tour! Quick tip: make sure you bring sunscreen! You are in the sun the entire time. It's about 2 hours long. There is a cover on the back of the boat but sometimes it is down during the trip.

He was very accommodating in finding a day and time that worked for us, very hospitable, and had a great personality! Charlie texts you several times before the boat day, to make sure directions on everything are clear- I really appreciated receiving the EXACT directions with pictures and precise details. His "Tiki Tiki" boat was brand new and beautiful, and I enjoyed bringing our own drinks and snacks on the boat (he parks next to a food boat, if you'd rather buy food). The sandbar was a lot of fun, and Charlie brought many toys for us to play with on the water (kayak, rafts, beer pong table, noodles, etc). Definitely enough equipment to keep you busy for the day! The sandbar was a bit busy (even on a weekday), but he tried to find us an area where no one was blaring their music, so we could play our own. Charlie took several pictures and videos for us that he emailed us later in the week. I really enjoyed having all those, in addition to mine. Only constructive criticism I have, would be that I booked a half day "tour", and had mentioned going snorkeling and doing the catch/release of baby sharks. I was under the impression that was all set up as the plan for the day. However, we went straight to the sandbar and spent the day there; little bit of a letdown as we wanted to do other activities as well- other than that it was a great day! The water was clear, we saw some fish (and lots of dogs), and the weather was perfect- we had a great day with Captain Charlie!

Charlie is a magical Captain who creates special moments throughout your entire experience on his boat. Of course the Sandbar is beautiful but the hospitality is what sets this charter apart from the rest. His boat was beautiful and we were comfortable as can be all day long. We are already planning our next trip back and can not stop staring at photos from our special day. Can not recommend Key Largo Adventures enough!

It was like having a local family member taking you out for the day. Whatever we wanted to do he knew just where to go. We visited the sandbar, so we could say we did it. When it got busy we were ready to see wildlife and go snorkeling and Merv did not disappoint. We pointed out landmarks and other interesting facts as we trolled along. We plan to use his service again when we visit Key Largo again. If you are looking for a great day don't look any farther.

He was so amazing that he even brought stuff for us to snorkel with and has a great recommendation list on what to bring with you to make everything be as smooth as possible.
