We were greeted with a warm welcome, a tour of the boat, fun music and immediately told to relax and enjoy ourselves. We took the full day charter and loved every moment of it!!!! My kids enjoyed the water sport activities tremendously. Captain Charlie was SO fun and easy going. He provided paddleboards, kayak, floats, and everything you need to have a great time. He even threw the ball around with my kids!!!! When it came to food, the barbeque was a super unique experience. Eating the delicious feast he prepared on the paddleboard was mind blowing. The food itself was incredible!!! One of the best meals we had on the trip. His service was wonderful and we ate everything...it was that good! Everything was spectacular...the Tiki Tiki, the beautiful sandbar, the fun music, the food, the activities...truly a one of a kind, lifetime memory!!!! On top of the "perfect day", Captain Charlie provided us an opportunity to catch a bonnet head shark and he took INCREDIBLE photos of us with the shark and throughout the whole day!!!! His photos are like a professional and truly amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and Captain. This was by far the most UNIQUE AND MEMORABLE part of our trip to the Keys! Our family of four (2 parents + 2 teens) have had many FL Keys excursions as it is one of our very favorite spots. However, Captain Charlie fully raised the bar when he took us out on his boat to experience "his" Keys and even allowed our two furry canine children to join us. Captain Charlie has thought of all the details so all you need to do is show up with swimsuit, towel & sunscreen. He LITERALLY does all the rest, providing you choices to customize your experience -- whether you want to have a "party" excursion, a family excursion, or like us, somewhere in between. We had a wonderful time snorkeling first and then visiting a sand bar near Islamorada. In the former, Captain Charlie got in the water & led the way, personally showing our girls the beauty of Alligator Reef and in the latter, he brought all the water toys and refreshments (including adult beverages) to make it a fun, unique stop. And between all this, Captain Charlie manages to take wonderful pictures which lets you just enjoy the moment yet still have permanent memories afterwards. Recently my two friends and I visited Islamorada Florida for a much needed "Girls Trip". My friend reached out to Captain Charlie to coordinate an excursion and he was incredibly helpful with the process. Once we arrived for our excursion day we met with Captain Jim and Co-captain Rachel. They were warm, hospitable and a true delight to spend the day with. They took us out to a picturesque spot to snorkel and swim. We even saw a harmless little nurse shark! It was so cool! Our day didn't stop there. Captain Jim took us out to the local watering hole...aka "The sandbar" where we finished out the remainder of the day. We had the opportunity to mingle, and chat with locals and tourist throughout the day. We bought food and Captain Jim skillfully cooked it up on the grill and the rose'/seltzers were flowing! After a delicious cooked meal, we floated around the sand bar and even took a stab at paddle boarding. Needless to say our crew had an unforgettable experience with our first mate Jim! We originally called another charter service. Our group was larger than that one could take so he called up Key Largo Adventures to help assist him with our group. Boy were we glad! Captain Charlie definitely upgraded our trip! When we got to the sandbar he had so many floats for us to enjoy! He played whatever music we wanted on his awesome sound system. It was like he brought the party straight to us! I can not say enough great things about this company! We had such a great time we extended our trip another day just to be able to get out on the boat with Key Largo Adventures again! This time we wanted to relax and snorkel. Another bonus was he took pictures for us. We didn't have to worry about our phones and the water. We were able to just enjoy the experience and received all the great pictures right away! We spent a full day with Capt Charlie on the Tiki Tiki last week and it was the highlight of our trip to the Keys. It was my wife's 40th b-day party and the day couldn't have turned out any better. Capt Charlie's customer service and attention to detail is beyond words. Even though the weather (Strong winds) was less than ideal, Charlie took us out to the Sandbar for a tour and then we explored the backcountry. We anchored near the Mangroves and spent the next few hours cooking out, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and listening to great music. We ended the day barhopping at some great spots on the way back to the Marina. The food Capt Charlie cooked was literally the best meal we ate in the Keys and that includes meals at some very expensive $$$$ steakhouses and seafood restaurants. Capt Charlie even took my wife on a private fishing/paddleboarding trip and caught 2 sharks and allowed her to hold them while getting some great pictures. Endless amounts of great drinks, snacks and of course FIREBALL! Our group has already decided to plan another trip to the Keys just to hang out on the Tiki Tiki! read more

We booked a full day charter to the sandbar on Memorial Day weekend. BEST TIME EVER! The Crew: Captain Charlie and his crew were awesome. We felt like we were out on the water for the day with old friends! They were professional, fun, organized and attentive the entire time. They ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves at the sandbar and on the boat. Good company is the key to a great day, and they did not disappoint! The Tiki Tiki boat: Loved the Tiki Tiki! The boat was comfortable and equipped with everything you would need for a day on the water. Including the docktail bar and up top area to take in the view. The Food: the menu was just as we ordered, perfectly grilled and displayed as a floating buffet. Perfect! The Fun: Captain Charlie provided us with giant floats, SUPs, and more for fun on the water. He also took photos of our group the entire time at the sandbar. So we didn't have to worry about catching the good times on camera. Captain Charlie and the Tiki Tiki was an absolutely amazing experience. From the initial contact of inquiring about the trip, through the actual day, and the follow up of an individualized photo album was top notch throughout. First mate Claire assisted with the booking and arrangements and Charlie hosted our family all day long. Taking our family through the mangrove islands, snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and hanging out on the sand bar was a once in a lifetime experience. A first class production all around. Topped off with an individualized BBQ cooked right on the boat in front of us with fresh meat, veggies, fruit, and drinks was the icing on the cake. Charlie knows the waters like the back of his hand. He knew where to find certain wild life, the best spots to hit during the tidal changes, and catered the day to each family members needs. We spent 3 wonderful days in the Keys, but I have to say, the day we spent with Captain Charlie was the BEST. Myself and husband traveled with our 6 and 7 year old and knew we wanted to go to the Sandbar in Islamorada. The day couldn't have been funner. Captain Charlie kept the good tunes cranking, prepared snacks, kept the drinks flowing and grilled a wonderful lunch..couple that with sunshine and crystal blue water...it is heaven!!!! It was a super time and we are so, so thrilled that we did it. Money so well spent. If you are thinking about doing something like this, think no more! Splurge on the trip, it will be so worth it! You get to eat and drink, kayak and paddle board or just relax on a float (and so much more). This was our first visit to Key Largo and my cousin recommended that we contact Captain Charlie from Key Largo Adventures. If you visit Key Largo, this is a must do. Captain Charlie provided food (he prepared it all), beverages, and dessert. His knowledge of the waterways and the surrounding oceanic habitat was amazing. His boat was clean, comfortable and smooth on the waters. We visited the best spots for snorkeling, hung out at a sandbar, and even got to fish. We saw sharks, baby barracudas, fish of all sorts and we had the opportunity to get to know Captain Charlie. He is friendly, personable, attentive, and joined in our party with our crazy family. I don't even know where to start with this review because the day was so amazing , I can't find the right words , but here goes ... first off , Captain Charlie and First Mate Claire are top notch ! From the moment we boarded the Tiki Tiki to the moment we got off , we were treated like queens ! Not only did they prepare us a delicious lunch (those burgers yum ) , serve us drinks , provide us with rafts , paddle boards , etc ., they showed us the beautiful sandbar and made sure nothing (even some rain ) stood in the way of us having a perfect "girls day " . Booked a full day charter with friends on Captain Charlie's Tiki Tiki, a 24 ft open cockpit boat. Captain Charlie was awesome in every way you would expect and then some. This was one of if not the BEST charter I have ever been on. The Capt is one of the most experienced and professional guides the Keys has to offer.  We had an absolute blast for 7 hours snorkeling fishing paddle boarding and enjoying a fantastic barbecued lunch prepared by our Captain. A awesome sound system aboard the Tiki Tiki provided a full array of our favorite music. The beer was cold the water was warm and the company was fantastic! If you're looking for something unique and fun to do in the Keys this is it!!! Capt Charlie runs a 5-star operation and no detail is left to chance. He created a perfect balance of planning with room left to customize to our needs. We got to pick the music we like, the order of activities and he has the boat fully stocked with everything we got to choose from on his menu of food and drink and then some! The snorkeling was some of the best I've ever seen (turtles, sharks, fish, stingrays) and we had the best setup for the Sandbar BBQ! All you need is sunscreen and a towel! Everything else is provided!! My husband and I went with some friends last year and had the time of our lives! So when another group of friends said they wanted to go this year, our immediate response was YES PLEASE! I have to admit I was worried that we might have over sold it to our friends, but it was quite the opposite! To say it was a perfect day is an understatement! Snorkeling in an area that was so beautiful it looked fake, a hot lunch and cocktails served to us as we floated on the crystal clear waters of the Islamorada sand bar! Captain Charlie was an amazing host from the day of booking through to spending countless hours perfecting our family photos. We had three young kids and Charlie was able to cater to our needs for the day finding an awesome spot out of the wind so we could enjoy all his toys! A day on the Tiki Tiki with Captain Charlie is a must if you want to have a great day on the water. Charlie goes out of his way to personalize your trip with the food and drink you want and the music you love. He also is a great photographer capturing amazing shots both above and below the surface of the water. We started the day with a great snorkel where we saw beautiful fish, coral, sea turtles, barracuda, and I even touched a huge jelly fish (which I didn't know you could do). We made our way to a sandbar for some great food & drink and relaxation. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and chilled on the water in inner tubes. One of the highlights was Charlie catching a shark for a great photo op. It was a great experience and we highly recommend a day on the water with Captain Charlie!!! read more

A fantastic day out .... Visiting from the UK in August, our family of five took a half day trip on the tiki tiki captain Charlie. We have three girls - nine, 12, and 14 all of whom had a fantastic day. After doing some wonderful snorkeling where we had an amazing encounter with a very friendly green turtle, we headed off to the sandbar to chill out and have fun. The boat is really well equipped with paddle boards, kayaks and things you can float about on and just generally have fun. Food and drink is provided and Charlie works really hard to make sure you are well catered for and well looked after. He was really engaging company and really great with my nine-year-old . I've been to a lot of places in the Keys over the years, and this tour is on the very top of my FAVORITES. Captain Charlie and First Mate Jim took care of our every need! They swam alongside us pointing out huge stingrays and took many great/edited photos of us. Captain Charlie, who is a retired school teacher, even provided my nephews (8 and 11) with a valuable lesson of our fragile ecosystem. Great bonus! He has thought of everything! Paddle boards, kayaks, floats, balls, and a delicious grilled lunch served on a paddle board...all we had to bring were our polarized sunglasses! Captain Charlie of Key Largo Adventures is incredible. He made sure that all of us were taken care of the entire day. Our teenagers were entertained by multiple water adventures including fishing, paddle boards, kayaking and tubes. The adults were busy being entertained by the music, drinks, and captains warm and captivating personality. He told us stories, introduced us to friends from other boats and cooked up a storm.
