It was like having a local family member taking you out for the day. Whatever we wanted to do he knew just where to go. We visited the sandbar, so we could say we did it. When it got busy we were ready to see wildlife and go snorkeling and Merv did not disappoint. We pointed out landmarks and other interesting facts as we trolled along. We plan to use his service again when we visit Key Largo again. If you are looking for a great day don't look any farther.

He was so quick to answer all my questions and is so knowledgeable on the entire area. He was amazing from start to finish-- showed us so many areas and shared the history of pretty much everything we saw. We saw sharks, a sting ray, grouper fish, a ton of fish, barracuda's, and more! He was so amazing that he even brought stuff for us to snorkel with and has a great recommendation list on what to bring with you to make everything be as smooth as possible. We cannot wait to come back and bring the kiddos next time! Merv you were an absolute GEM and we can't wait to see you again!!!! 100000% worth every penny spent. We haven't stopped talking about the turquoise blue water that made all my dreams come true! WOW.

On a boat charter personally arranged by a lovely girl called Claire we had an incredible day at sea. We parked on a sand bar as deep as my knees. Aquablue Adventures brought the boat to Islamorada sandbar, the music and most importantly unlimited shots of Fireballs just in case u need a little warm up. The vibe is ... put a bathing suit, get in the water and relax as you will have arrived in Paradise. Oh and if you forget to pack a lunch bag not to worry - there is a floating food truck parked right there with burgers and hot dogs. The boat was spacious and clean which I appreciated. Customer service was timely and professional.

Two days prior to…read moreour tour Caroline called to see if we could adjust our date since the forecast was for medium winds. We adjusted to the date she suggested and we had a wonderful tour. This was six senior adults with most of them not accustomed to be on the water. We had a wonderful tour seeing turtles, dolphins, some of the coral around the lighthouse offshore, and through some mangrove groves on the bay side of the island. Wonderful tour, would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the dining table because we like to play cards in the evening. The outside areas were very clean and well manicured. The loungers, chairs, everything was spotless. Our last evening we came back from dinner to watch the sunset. We found they had raked the sand by the beach. Over the top! I would highly recommend this well appointed, clean, friendly resort. Classy, quiet and relaxing. 5 stars and we will be back!

However, we felt that the property is quite highly priced for what it offers. Unfortunately, our comfort was affected by a few issues in the room--the bed made noticeable noise even with slight movement, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the air conditioner was quite loud, adding to the disturbance. Overall, while the cleanliness and easy check-in were definite positives, the noise issues and pricing did not quite match our expectations.

The hotel itself was very clean, and the room looked like it was recently remodeled. The bed had a European style bottom on it where I kept hitting my ankle and toes. The mattress was kind of soft, but the pillows were really nice and comfortable. The bathroom looked rather old, and the shower itself didn't have a door on it. So you risk getting water onto the bathroom on the floor when you're just taking a normal shower. I liked the rear room door which led to the pool area. The pool was a saltwater type and very inviting. This was a major plus for this Inn. Get the towels from the front office and pick a nice spot around the pool. This area really was well done Shopping is a breeze with the Publix grocery store just one mile south. Many great choices for restaurants are all within 2 miles. There are no places to cook inside the unit, but there is a microwave outback in case you wanna warm something. A small refrigerator is provided along with a coffee maker and Keurig coffee pods. Try not to book a room facing the street, as it gets rather noisy at night. Also, foot traffic during was rather loud up until midnight. There is a great value in staying here as the price for rooms are very reasonable. I think I paid $136 for the night. The two women at check-in were very polite and attentive to my needs. Questions were answered, I think I would stay here again if I didn't have a room up against the highway. Be sure to inquire first.
