It took them 3 months to replace my gembel bearing. They decided to change the oil sending unit and winterize my boat in the meantime, 2 things that I did not approve. The oil guage stopped working as a result. In addition, they tore a 3 foot hole in my cover and kindly offered to let me purchase I've 'at cost'. The original quote was $875. They invoiced me for $1450 and I had to buy a new boat cover and have the oil siding unit and guage worked on.

Picked up the boat and they charged us over $800. THAT IS BAD BUSINESS. If we had discussed an $800 fee we may have been comfortable with that price. But to charge more than twice the quoted price?! They were doing an oil change on the outdrive and replacing an actuator on trim tab. We also asked the mechanic to make sure it was running okay. They did a diagnostic test which right off the bat is $140. We paid close to $400. When we took it home, it wouldn't start. They said bring it back up. This was in May. The mechanic flipped the captain's choice on exhaust and when he went to switch it back, it wouldn't work and was stuck in that mode. (That is something he did!) It was there about a month and a half and he promised he would fix it. Well, he didn't. He couldn't figure it out. So when we picked it back up to take it somewhere else, they held the boat "hostage" until we paid another diagnostic test $140. When I called to pick it up the service had not been completed. When they did complete the fitting of the cover there were broken snaps and extra snaps where they did not belong.
