The experience was fantastic. Until I was in the finance office. Full disclosure, I don't have perfect credit. However, it's good enough. I gave specific directions for the finance manager and he knew better. NOT!!!! I truly enjoyed my experience and the people are awesome. I just wish we could all listen a little better. The response from Captain's marine is a joke and lacks any truth. First I happen to be a past customer. In the past year I have purchased several hundred dollars of parts and accessories from them. Apparently they don't do a very good job of tracking there own customers let alone treat any new customers as you would expect. Second they simply are discriminating against me as a customer because I happened to buy a boat and engine from a dealer they have some personnel issue with So they punish me by declaring they would not service the merc engine. Not that they couldn't but that they wouldn't. Maybe others should be aware of what there criteria is for who they will service. They also claim that they don't service anything bought from this dealer but that Also is untrue. Bottom line is after making an appt three weeks earlier and show up unload my boat and then be told they won't service it is a bit annoying.
