I heard about MediaScience Panel, so I thought I would give it a try since it sounded like a fun…read moreway to make some money. I signed up on their web page and a few days later I got an email with an invitation to potentially participate in a market research study if I qualified. I called them to see if I qualified for the study, which I did, so I participated. I had the choice of two different times on either a Friday or Saturday afternoon, so the days and times were very convenient. The study itself lasted 2 hours and paid $60 on a Visa gift card, which seemed fair enough. The study consisted on watching TV followed by answering survey questions regarding the viewing - the details of which are bound by the confidentiality form you must sign. I also had to wear a heart rate monitor on my finger that was a little annoying, as well as a couple other finger monitors, but it definitely beats mopping hot tar. As noted by others, the location is on the southbound frontage road of I-35. it is just south of the Hertz rental car, so if you miss it, then you have to drive a ways to get back, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the building. I had no problem finding a parking spot. Be sure an enter through the front door - I walked up the stairs in the back of the parking garage, only to find that the door was locked. I really liked the check-in procedure since you sign in at a computer kiosk, thus reducing the waiting time to sign in. They told me that they have approximately 30,000+ people in their database, so I am not sure when I will qualify for another study, but they indicated there is an average wait time of around 60 days between studies, so you definitely cannot do these studies every week. I will definitely participate if asked again and highly recommend MediaScience Panel.
