The folks at Swimming Flowers took the time to teach us and even came to our place to inspect the pond when we thought we had goofed up. On top of that, the place is fascinating with rescued animals, koi breeding tanks, loads of aquatic plant options. Their pond supplies are limited because that's not their focus. Sarah, our groomer was fantastic with my puppy. My puppy didn't like the dryer they use so Sarah hand dried her (how cool is that). Now my puppy smells as good as she looks. For a while i brought fish here to trade for store credit and would use the credit to get new specimens to freshen the gene pools of my aquariums full of home bred and raised livebearers. Unfortunately, most of the fish i got from here ended up dying within a week or so. I am not sure if it is issues with bad genetics, stress, water chem etc.. All i know is i have established tanks full of a few hundred fish being born, raised and moved on at any time and the only fish i have that die are the ones I get from this store. I do have a healthy Bristlenose Pleco i got from here, and one stunning sailfin molly, so it is not all bad. However, i can say with confidence that 9/10 of the livebearers (swordtail, molly, guppy, platy) i get from here don't make it a month. It is really nice of them to offer credit for stock, (honestly it should be standard but not all stores do it) but unfortunately not only were the fish I was buying back unhealthy, the supplies/food i would buy from there was priced higher than i see elsewhere. Brenden and Cole are 2 really nice and friendly guys who care about the animals and the customers.

What bothered me were the bird conditions, especially the Cockatiels, who were crammed in stacked cages. They were so sweet and needed/need more room and light in my humble bird-LOVING opinion. The bigger birds had better cages and spacing. All looked good and healthy though. Really cool raccoon family animals that I think were for sale. Lots of great and unique products; I saw rabbits too. Based on other reviews, they must offer other small critters too. Prices were standard. Staff is always super helpful if I have any questions about a certain product. Or if my dog is having a certain issue, they are informed and give me advice and suggestions.
