Film Row so needed a little coffee shop, but it's even better that the Paramount is so much more…read morethan a coffee shop. With wine and beer, a nice little food menu, and delicious Pie Junkie pies, this little spot can take care of many different needs. For an area that is growing with new office workers more quickly than small businesses can open to address their needs, it's great Paramount does more than just serve a good cuppa joe. I stopped in last week to do a bit of work and then have a meeting. We split a piece of coconut cream pie (my favorite) and I had a very delicious soy latte. I also love that they support the other local film row businesses, for example, by playing KOSU in the shop. It was a great place to get some work done and have a meeting, and it's proximity to downtown makes it a really nice place for meetings with downtown dwellers, without having to mess with downtown parking.

Husband had his work Christmas party here. I immediately knew where is was due to being an "okay…read moreyeah" fan which is right next door! I love the nostalgia feel you get from this place! The theme of the party was 1920's which was very fitting as you can notice the moment when you walk in the door! Our party was upstairs. The atmosphere was awesome! The bar area room was awesome and had exposed brick walls everywhere. It was super airy and open feel which is great for functions for work parties. The other room was super open and again everything from the ceiling moulding, etc. was amazing definitely older which is great and a nice change from all the modern looking office type spaces everyone has. They had a buffet which was great function wise because there is a longer hallway that breaks up the two rooms which allows plenty of room for food table and lines to form... The location is prime located right around the corner from Jones Assembly, etc. The parking is great as there is a lot right next to it!

I will never return to this theater. Tried paying cash for our overpriced popcorn and drinks, but…read morewhen I tried handing him a $100 bill he said they just opened and don't have enough cash to make change for that! We went to an 11 AM movie yet the popcorn tasted old and stale. The theater was all the way in the back, theater 9, and it was so warm in there I was sweating! I have never been hot in a movie theater before! The lights in the theater had cobwebs all over them, and the seats were so narrow I had to put the arm rest up to fit comfortably. The volume of the movie was way too loud and gave me a headache. This was the worst theater I have ever been to and I will never step foot in there again. Only reason we went today is the Warren in Moore lost power.

Next day I arrive and speak with the manager on duty. He stated that "the staff should not have said anything about a refund." He refused to honor what was told to us and only gave us a redemption ticket. This is despite us informing him we are from out of state and that a refund is what we wanted considering that is what we were told. This theatre has no customer service ability, absolutely terrible experience. Management staff are not helpful, they are rude. I do not recommend this theatre at all. I am happy to live out of state to not have to come back here.

Upon entrance you see the will-call window. Enter through the red door to the left. There were a few tables with chairs in the middle, art for sale on the wall. And then double doors to the left to the theater and bathrooms to the right. All the way at the back had a small area selling drinks and snacks. They're advertised as a local theater, but the caliber of the talent was phenomenal. The actors transported us back in time to tell this beautiful and sad story. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance, so much so that we already got tickets for their next play, "Beer for Breakfast" (Oct 17-Nov 2, 2025).

It is time to buy your flex pack of tickets to see CST's Season 41 which starts SEPTEMBER 13-29,…read more2024 with play called MAKING SWEET TEA AND OTHER SECRETS - a dramedy by Paul Elliott. There are 8 plays in the season but you can buy smaller packages. We sometimes are gone and use our extra tickets to later bring friends to a different play. That is the beauty of flex packs. CST has a great reception area with art on display and they sell drinks including cocktails, and snacks. The theatre scene is alive and well in Oklahoma. We also like Jewel Box Theatre and the Civic Center. The play's description: Winn Dottie and Ruth Hamilton have always kept their lives in order, living each day in rural isolation and contentment. All of that changes when the sheriff drops a battered teenager on their doorstep and asks them to keep them safe. The question is--can these two older women get past their own ingrained ideas of how life should be to protect a teenager they don't even understand? Making Sweet Tea and Other Secrets refers to all the hidden bigotry, prejudice and even brutality a town will turn a blind eye to, until forced to bring those secrets to light and fight back. AACT New PlayFest Award Winner, 2018. "A well-disciplined peeling away of prejudice and intolerance." -- Lincoln Journal Star.
