Oleg is friendly, professional, and seem very thorough! Having my car inspected by him gave me much more peace of mind when I bought my car. However, 6 days later the 'check engine + check hybrid system and stop the car' lights were on, and they have continued to pop up (leading to the car promptly losing power) 6 times in 6 months--despite many diagnoses and repairs. You should not even consider buying a preowned car in the metro Atlanta area without calling Oleg first. The car I'd found was exactly what I was looking for, but the Carfax report indicated that the car had passed through three dealers in the last 11 months and had been at the current dealer for nine months. I reached out to Oleg at 10 AM. He was at the dealership by 1:15 PM; I had the report in hand before 5 PM. It was detailed, well organized, easy to read, and included multiple photos. Long story short, he saved me from buying a car that I would have had to drive directly to authorized dealer service. The vehicle also had numerous cosmetic (badly stained upholstery, cracked touchpad, gouged steering wheel and wood paneling; apparently the prior owner was a beaver) and electronic issues in the cabin that would have ended up costing more to replace than the mechanical issues would to repair. The dealer photographs omitted all of those issues. On top of that, the prior owner was a smoker and the car remains decidedly funky almost a year later. It's the best $170 you'll ever spend. Car Advisors saved me about $2,000 by checking a vehicle before I purchased. Oleg met me at the dealership on time. He came prepared with equipment to do a complete inspection with various types of tools and technology. First he checked, the body of a car with a device that measures density. Later he was able to tell me that he could tell that the car had been repainted in several different areas. Next, he use a portable computer reader to test the engine. He was able to identify areas that needed attention - a specific cylinder that was mis-firing, sensor errors, and sensors that didn't work. He did a thorough inspection of the undercarriage which revealed several leaks. He also did a check of the electrical system, heating and cooling system, transmission, suspension, and exhaust. He was also able to identify that three Jack pads were missing under the car - I never would've checked for that. Little items did not go unchecked either. He pointed out where the interior was missing various caps and covers. There was condensation in one of the headlights in one of the brake lights. There was condensation in one of the headlights and one of the brake lights. He indicated that the covers that go behind the light housing was missing. That is how dirt, debris, and bugs can get into the headlights making them less effective. He checked all the doorhandles, all the windows, the presence of the tire key (or lack there of), items that are standard with the purchase and even showed me where parts of the leather seats had been repainted. Though he does not do repairs, he gave me a range of how much each item would cost which help me determine an offer price for the car. I have used him for two vehicle inspections.
