I made my appointment, dropped my car off and they had my car ready in about 2 hrs. I'm a property manager so I always get 3 or 4 quotes, look at reviews, and look for the best customer service. This was the ABSOLUTE worst car repair experience I've ever endured. My brakes were shot out towards the end of February and I found Vaughn Auto to be a close remedy for my vehicular issues. I quickly had my car towed there without reading these terrible reviews and thought I was in good hands. They do not finance, they do not take payments over the phone or checks. You must be there in person with the full amount in cash to receive your car. Even though many working class Americans like myself do not get off of work before 6 PM. But they close at 5:30 and will not wait a minute passed that! Not only did they overcharge for every repair based on the fact that I'm a WOMAN, but they were also extremely difficult to compromise or negotiate with. They even lied about the fact that they left early just to make sure I wasn't able to get my car when I got there and they could start collecting what they call "holding fees" of $50 a day! If $1700 for a brake job is your kind of FAMILY SERVICE I'd definitely suggest working with these guys! I'm incredibly disappointed with the service I received and I know they won't last much longer in the automotive business. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. read more
