Was able to help my brother purchase a great car at a great price! The owners and salesman were very helpful!

Do NOT buy a car from these people. I was going to buy a 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in voodoo blue…read morewith only 50k miles on it for $42k. Anyone who knows this car knows the color is rare and low mileage is like finding a needle in a haystack. The car was listed 6/13/2026 and it's been over a month since then...and now I know why it's been on their lot for so long. I contacted them about it buying it from out of state and they said I'd need to put a non-refundable deposit down of $1k. Already a little sketchy and a known sales tactic...but fine. I'll bite. Then, I setup an inspection with a mobile mechanic...and they sneakily increased the price on the website by $1k thinking I wouldn't notice. I reach out to them about the increase...no response (the person I was dealing with at the dealership is Keith) Then I reach out to them about cancelling the inspection and tell them I'm no longer interested...and what do you know...they responded right away. Oh and the $1k increase they posted on their website after I contacted them? They didn't think about the carfax and the carfax still had the original price. I could've been their dream buyer. I have an 812 credit score, no debt other than my mortgage, was willing to finance with them, and I was willing to FLY there and drive the car back myself. They shot themselves in the foot with this one. $42k? Nah. Only reach back out when you can get me an out the door price of $32k

The day after we bought it the check engine light came on. Took the car to O Reilly to get the code read. The car dealer was informed the next day and assured my ex husband that they would order the part. Never heard from them again. This past Friday (May 30), the car started sounding terrible. The car was taken for an oil change, the oil was old and had metal shavings in it. Again called the dealer and got several stories. The "partner" bought the car and it was his fault. Then since we were past the 30 day warranty we would need to pay out of pocket for a new motor. Then we were basically told our kids drove it too rough. We have Life360 and get driving reports that show the speed driven, rapid acceleration and hard braking. Basically two teenagers were taken advantage of, and then blamed for a car becoming undrivable within 34 days of purchase which is disgusting behavior. If we want to pay more out of pocket to get a new engine we were told we could do that. I do not trust this dealership to fix this car. My ex husband offered to sell the car back to them (at a big loss to my kids), but the dealer doesn't do that, likely because it's junk. The car dealer gave my ex husband the runaround and several excuses. This is a good lesson to have a car checked out by a mechanic and my kids now know that car dealers can be very untrustworthy. A five thousand dollar lesson learned, and now we have a piece of junk car to dispose of. Believe the negative online reviews, the people we dealt with after the sale were definitely not the people who sold the car.
