Mechanics have reported that my wife's car's battery is low. They've been telling me that for a…read morecouple years now. And I replaced the battery in April 2020 with one from O'Reilly. Well, I recently had my cousin who is a mechanic work on my car. He said that my battery was low again and that he charged it for me. Then I took my car in for an oil change and they told me my battery was low again. So I scheduled an appointment with the dealership to find out what is happening with the car's electrical system. It turns out, the alternator was not putting out enough voltage to keep the battery charged while the car was running. So I had the dealership install a new alternator. Then I returned to O'Reilly with my battery and my receipt from April 2020. But they didn't have a replacement battery in stock, so they had to order one for me. Two days later, they replaced the battery with no questions asked. Kudos to O'Reilly for sporting a 3-year, no-questions-asked warranty on their batteries. This is the fourth battery in eight years for this car. I'm hoping that this electrical issue is finally resolved. I won't buy another Chrysler unless they improve their vehicle quality.

If the part was purchased at a different Advanced Auto Parts location, they WILL NOT honor the warranty. I purchased lifetime brake pads at the Brunswick store (which is now out of business) and they would not accept the old pads with the receipt because I did not buy the pads at this particular location. What kind of franchise is this? What kind of warranty does Advance Auto offer if it cannot be redeemed at any of their locations? Avoid this store.

Stoppped by Advance to see if they had calipers for my wife's van. They told me right off the bat…read morethat they didn't have them in stock. The worker was super knowledgeable. He even knew that there were known issues with the rear brakes on my wife's car. He made sure that he was searching for the right part by asking me if the front calipers had one or two pistons. He said the front brakes were really good on this vehicle, and he's right. I had measured my wife's rear rotors ahead of time and they were 328mm in diameter. I am tired of getting the wrong parts, but at least this place knew exactly which parts I needed, even if they didn't have them in stock. He as able to tell me which store had them, but it was too far to drive.
