Mechanics have reported that my wife's car's battery is low. They've been telling me that for a couple years now. And I replaced the battery in April 2020 with one from O'Reilly. Well, I recently had my cousin who is a mechanic work on my car. He said that my battery was low again and that he charged it for me. Then I took my car in for an oil change and they told me my battery was low again. So I scheduled an appointment with the dealership to find out what is happening with the car's electrical system. It turns out, the alternator was not putting out enough voltage to keep the battery charged while the car was running. So I had the dealership install a new alternator.
Then I returned to O'Reilly with my battery and my receipt from April 2020. But they didn't have a replacement battery in stock, so they had to order one for me. Two days later, they replaced the battery with no questions asked. Kudos to O'Reilly for sporting a 3-year, no-questions-asked warranty on their batteries. This is the fourth battery in eight years for this car. I'm hoping that this electrical issue is finally resolved. I won't buy another Chrysler unless they improve their vehicle quality. read more
