if the reviews were not bad enough then you can take into consideration my experience. I pulled up to Car X to get an inspection that is advertised free at this loca to on and company. my flexing pipe was needed replaced so I wanted a quote on it to see how much it would cost. these guys charged me $1300 for flexing pipes and labor which is actually insane. I know I'm a girl but flexxing pipe that costs half my kidney should not be legal. that's not even the worst part. I then proceeded to tell them that I didn't want any service from them. I was then threatened to pay them at least for the inspection. which I did not allow them to do to me. and when they saw how defensive I was, they said "well then I'm sorry for what I'm about to do right now" SPRINTS towards my car. which I think was a method to startle me and get me to pay them. I then called the police because they didn't want to give me my keys or my car and there is no reason for a customer to be treated like this. the police told me that I was good to leave without being forced to get service. if this your sign to not go here do not. unless your a billionare and can afford to fix you're whole car here. read more

My truck broke down in front of car x it wasn't where I was trying to take it but they said they could repair it and have it ready the next day I was surprised because it was a electrical issue that I've been trying to solve for 3 days now not only did they fix it they repaired my exhaust leak and rear lamp during this time I had two other people that said they had a Good experience with them as well so my hat's off to Tom and his team in there Great work guys thank you very much. read more

120 for oil change. Supposed to do tire rotation and a check of overall car. Absolutely did not rotate tires and couldn't give me a straight answer on which tire was low (tire sensor kept saying front tire but was incorrect) also asked me when tires were last rotated hope 2.5 months ago when y'all changed my oil. I drive over 100 miles a day so need frequent oil changes. read more

Dont take your car here. If your warranty only covers certain places, go to a different car x. They botched a simple spark plug job. Had my car for 3 more days and said Chevy had to come reset the emc and expected me to believe the new codes coming up were unrelated to the spark plugs they messed up. After I was able to pick my keys up late saturday (they had since tuesday) I needed documentation to turn in so I could get reimbursed for the rental and lyfts totaling 200. They flat out refused to give me any papers saying the dates they had my car. They did not charge me or the warranty company for anything after the spark plugs. So you want me to believe they paid for chevy to come out there 2 times​ out of the kindness of their hearts? No. They couldn't charge the warranty because the spark plugs were the only code until they touched it. They acted as if I should be grateful for the work they did at no cost to me when it was the incompetent people who work there that lack the most basic mechanic skills that caused all of this to happen. I work full time overnights and have kids to take to school every day. These people are the worst of the worst. The reason mechanics and repair shops get a bad reputation. Dont go here. read more

They do their best to get me in when it accommodates my schedule. They are trustworthy & honest. I always feel welcome when I arrive. The estimates are spot on if something else is discovered while working on the vehicle they promptly let you know and advise on how to proceed based on the issue. I've gone to this CarX location a few times to get a few things fixed in the cars I've had but this last time I really feel like I've been ripped off. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a female or what but I feel disrespected. I ended paying almost $700 for front wheel bearings and an alignment when I was originally quoted around $500. It's already hard enough especially for a young lady to find a trusting mechanic so when I get ripped off I feel like I can't trust anywhere I go. I just wanna find a shop that is fair on pricing and works to actually get down to the root of the problem. I will be telling people who needs car repairs to not come to this location. read more

Took a car in for a family member for an oil change. Mind you this family member takes multiply cars to this location on NE 14th. Oil change came to $71.00!!! Family member told me when I showed him the receipt that he normally pays $39 every time without a coupon. What a RIP-OFF. He will take his business someplace else. read more

Was sceptical about takin my truck anywhere other then my garage but didnt have time so i went to closest place and crossed fingures. From time i walked in door i have nothing bad to say. Was greated quickly , i explained the problems, and they were able to get me in right away was givin a ride home and told when it was done theyd call and pick me up. 2 hrs later we Got back to Car x and everything was fixed and was told if any problems let them know. I got a check up call from them bout a week later (i was very suprised) and i explained to him that I felt as tho it was pullin to the left and he said to bring it in and theyd "look at it" i thought great more money. When i had the time about 2 weeks later i stopped in. The manager told me hed get me right in. Waited a short while and my truck went back up and was asked everything i thought it was doin and then the mechanic said hed seee what he could do for it. When finished he explained everything he had done thoroughly and asked if i had questions. And even gave me a print out showing exact specs of my alignment so we could work on another try if neccessary. It wasnt. All in all very happy with the service. Every aspect was professional and i will bring my vehicles there when i cant do it myself. Would recommend to friends and family. Thank you to the guys that work there. Five stars.
