Oh, they also make inappropriate comments about your attractive husbands when they come in. Dr. Z was unkind to family members on two different visits. Dr. Wise is the kindest of them all. Contacts - don't bother coming here! I was given a script for contacts that were NOT the same as my previous script. Caused headaches, they moved when I blinked, etc. No one wanted to listen. Still trying to get contacts months later. My child wanted contacts, so they make you pay for a course. I understand the reasoning, but when someone that has never worn contacts reads how to put in contacts from a paper, it does not lead to success! My child was so frustrated and refuses to try again. I don't blame them. They also didn't discuss anything with me about what we were looking for with contacts. They ordered expensive contacts for him and then gave me attitude when I disagreed with their decision. No thanks!

Not happy with experience with this location at all. After MULTIPLE visits to the store and the…read more3rd set of contacts, we found ones that worked well. Of course when I try to order the new ones that I like, only then do I find out it's several hundred dollars more. I didn't feel heard or understood by the doctor or the staff. Now, I'm stuck with contacts that don't work for the next year. Thanks Visionworks. I will not be back to this location and I do not recommend it.

When I scheduled my eye exam, I was told a doctor would be on-site. However, when I arrived, I learned that no doctor was present, and the exam would be done via telehealth because of the holiday. I was not informed of this beforehand. Although the waiver mentioned telehealth, I was not told that AI technology would be used as part of the exam process. When I asked which system was being used, neither the staff nor the remote doctor could identify it. I was only told the technology was outsourced through a third-party IT provider. As someone with a technical background, the lack of clarity was concerning. The findings from this AI-assisted telehealth exam did not match the results from my previous in-person eye exam with a licensed doctor, which made me question whether the virtual setup was able to provide the same level of detail or accuracy as a traditional exam. Additionally: Several components of a standard in-person exam -- including dilation and certain diagnostic checks -- were not performed. The person handling equipment onsite stated he had two weeks of training and was not medically certified. Staff also expressed that doctor availability varies by location and ownership, and couldn't confirm when an on-site doctor would next be available ("possibly next Saturday, but it could change"). I want to note that the employees at the front desk were professional and polite. My concerns are strictly about transparency, consistency, and whether the services provided match what patients believe they are receiving, especially when insurance is involved. Based on my experience, I no longer feel comfortable receiving exams at this location and will be seeking an in-person medical evaluation elsewhere. I believe patients deserve clear communication about whether a doctor is physically present, whether AI is involved, and what type of exam they are actually receiving.

I'm upset that I've been coming here for so long and when glasses are old or new they want to make the same excuse as to why they are in a condition they can't fix. this will be my last time going to America's Best because what good are the deals if they end up in a condition so quickly that can't be fixed. The next time I stop in, will be to pick up a copy of our scripts to find quality glasses that won't be an issue or through a company who stands behind their glasses.
