We have been going to Dr. Patil for many years now. The front desk staff is super friendly, caring and very helpful! They make adjustments and reminder calls for appointments and are always smiling when you walk in. Extremely welcoming office, it's clean, well organized and comfortable. Two of our sons have had braces with Dr. Patil, but more recently I, myself had gotten braces. Dr. Patil used clear brackets on both my top and bottom teeth. They were almost completely invisible!!! At 35, it's not very exciting to have braces again, but with the team at Patil I felt very comfortable and I knew that I was getting the best treatment around. Dr. Patil's Office is unique to me because after your consultation you are able to go home and set up a payment plan completely from your phone or computer. This program allows you to set up payments that you can afford for the term your comfortable with- You can then set it all up privately from your own home. This is really nice because you don't have the stress of an office or staff member trying to help you decide what you can afford. Jump ahead to a little over a year... I got my braces off today! My teeth are perfect! Dr. Patil was able to contour a few of my teeth. He removed a small chip, a few small bumps, reshaped, and the best part is that this process is completely painless. He stopped a number of times having me look into a mirror so that I could see if I liked it, wanted more done, or I was happy. Fast word to treatment, each and every time my son sat in the chair the assistants were so very welcoming and had so much patience with my son but the real issue was the orthodontist himself. He would sit down not acknowledge my son and just began looking into his mouth. My son who is very verbal would ask what he is doing and he would be answer but be very short seemed like we were a burden on him. My son would cry due to sensory issues and the ortho would seem uneasy and still not explain in detail what he was doing. On one occasion my son was not understanding how to move his tongue and he was saying this is hard and the ortho asked me does he speak English because he wasn't understanding. Another day we came in, my son was in his chair chatting with the assistants like always and the ortho was talking with another patient and when he came over, he didn't say anything to my son and just talked with the assistant on how to continue my sons treatment, he was not acknowledged at all. My son said how come he says hi to him and not me, I didn't want to hurt his feelings and just said oh he was busy today buddy! But Today was the final straw and I'm so thankful we're done with this practice, my son was getting his braces removed and as a child with sensory issues, sounds are very overwhelming and during the removal my son began to cry and assistant stopped and let him take a break but then ortho just came over and started taking his brackets off without a word and triggered my son even more. The ortho told my son to keep it down to not cry because it's scaring the other patients when I looked over there was one teenager in Invisalign. We were than asked to leave since the ortho thought it was in my sons best interest. The only reason why we stayed at this practice was the assistants they always made sure he was comfortable and doing ok. I am forever grateful for those ladies in the back.
